Jek Tranter P.I. and his ship - The Ladybird.
Dr. X replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Fantastic! The chunky shape combined with the greebs is really nice, and that backstory is cool too! Sweetsauce. -
The XB-21 'Nombis' is a heavy fighter/bomber intended to supplement the Jackrabbit's weak offensive power. A large underbelly torpedo bay and a highly sophisticated targeting computer give the Nombis an edge when attacking larger ships. Combined with a swarm of Jackrabbits, a Squad of XB-21s is a force to be reckoned with. I built this as a heavy supplement ship to the Jackrabbit, and I was surprised how SNOTty it came out. I wish the interior could have room for some controls, though. Be sure to check out the full gallery here for a picture of the underside. What do you think, bubs? -Dr. X

Awesome! That's a great expansion on the design, and I'm' sure it will give hope to those who don't own one of those 6x8x2 canopies. And no, I don't really know what it stands for. Some people say 'Fast, Early Death', another one said 'Fast and Extremely Dangerous', or 'Freakishly Endagering possibility of Death'... I don't really know, though. I think I'm going to leave it up to the people who build them.

This is my latest and probably last FEDracer for a while (Well, at least until I get in a few BL orders in weird colors). It's obviously more anime-like than the others, what with the pionty shapes, hot female drivers, and emblems everywhere. I finally took brentlymills advice and snotted the nose. It's not perfect, but it works here I think. Ack! I can't stop making these! Click here for the full gallery on Flickr. That's all for now! Any C&C is welcome. -Dr. X

Yeah, a track would be awesome. I'm going to go try to buy a bunch of those 6x12 tile thingies.
-
Actually, I can show you both! Instructions (sort of). All of them together.

Yet another FEDracer. This time in brown, with a splatter of tan on one side. Woot. As an added bonus, click here for a picture of my whole line-up so far. Questions? Comments? Butter? -Dr. X

Thanks! And thanks, that was all confusing. I think I pressed the 'post topic' button twice after it didn't load. UPDATE: Hey guys, I just made a few quick images of how to make a basic FEDracer. Now you can host your own extremely dangerous and extremely stubby futuristic races!! Step 1: Build the main frame, engine, and wings. Note: Under the 4-stud SNOT part (the one that holds the wings) are two hinge plates. You can't see it that well in the pic, sorry. Step 2: Build the cockpit, and the behind-the-cockpit-thingy, then attach them. Now you're done! Of course, this is just the basic one. After making a normal one, you could experiment with making one longer, wider, or even more stubbier.

My latest FEDracer. This one takes more after the Titan's design, except it's more evil (duh). I thought of it after I saw that red Ogel canopy in my trans-box. The full gallery of 7 pics can be found here. Whaddya think? -Dr. X

It belongs in awesome! I once saw in this, like, spy movie, this one guy said to this other guy "This isn't just as easy as building with Lego bricks." or something like that. It was awesome.

A little while ago I decided to build a small blue swarm fighter. However, I was listening to F-Zero music at the time and I think that heavily influenced the design. After I was done, I randomly thought of the name 'FEDracer'; (I have yet to come up with what 'FED' stands for), and I loved it so much I made another one. I will probably write a backstory later, but for now, just know that FEDracers are stubby, small, and extremely fast futuristic racing vehicles. Full gallery here on Flickr. This is the second FEDracer I built, intending to stick with the same essential design but make it a bit longer and stubbier. I think I succeeded, but I personally like my first slightly better. Full gallery here on Flickr. That's all, bubs. What do you think? -Dr. X

Hey guys, I just had a bunch of pirate/castle parts that I wanted to trade. I like most old Space minifigs, most SW minifigs, interesting headgear like the shark part or the frankenstein hat, Ninja minifigs... PM me if you're interested in any of it! -Dr. X

I love that batbike.

modification for the Mach 6 (Speed Racer: 8161)
Dr. X replied to Courleciel's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sweet! Better than the original. -
Why? This is strange.. And sorry but I don't have the set.
-
Yeah, I think that's the mindset I was in when I was building it..
-
That's a sweet ship! I love the lime, the greebs, it's all cool. Nice job!
-
Heh, lol. And thanks for the comments.

Thanks guys! And a minifig can fit inside, but he has to wear a helmet in ex-atmospheric flight.

The XF-9v 'Pincer' is a prototype designed to test the capabilities of the new ion pincer technology. The ion pincers were designed to disable ships, without the use of heavy or numerous ion blasts or conner nets. The XF-9v simply maneuvers near the ship it wants to disable, finds some protruding element small enough to fit between the pincers, and latches on. Then the pincers deliver an ion shock many times greater than that of one in an energy bolt, usually rendering all or part of the ship temporarily inoperative. (Sorry for the overly-long backstory and description.) One day I decided to dump out all of my gray boxes and build a fighter, so, I did. This is what came out. It all started when I found that dark gray engine piece in the back, and stuck it into the ball socket. Only after I added those overhang pieces on the end of the pincers did I think of the ion shock idea. Full gallery here on Flickr. What do you think? -Dr. X

Extremely awesome. I love forced-perspective!

This is my favorite Carnivorous Plant that I won, my P. 'John Rizzi', growing on a porous lava rock. P. 'John Rizzi' is a species of butterwork, or Pinguicula. If you want to know more about them, here's the Wikipedia article. -Dr. X

Actually, you can get those for free here. And guys, I just found this, which is I think the lowest price for one on ebay. Is this a good deal? Because I've always wanted one...
