I think this is really pointless, since we still haven't seen really good pictures of the whole set, and also we still don't know if this is already the final version of it. And it wouldn't change anything anyway, if most people here don't like the color scheme... Edit: Just saw your signature, SiRoa, you got a few mistakes in the set names there, and also you can find most of these sets at S@H.

It also took forever till the pirates ones were up, and the city farm instructions aren't yet, also. I guess you'll have to be patient.

Why shouldn't they? They are part of the current castle line, just vecause they were absent for a year it doesn't mean they are gone at all. Actually they weren't even absent, cause there were some in the advent calendar. But..what forest and skeleton attack are you talking about?

Thanks a lot for the pictures guys! As i saif d before, to me they now look WAY better than before. And i was right that the troll's fortress can be assembled so it's closed! The Drawbridge is deffinitely a win for me, maybe the ebst one made so far

Only the tractor and harvester, though.

I don't know why, but i think with an overworked design and the final boxart and HQ pictures, these sets will look awesome. I'm pretty sure mostly nobody would have bought last years sets from only seeing blurry prelim pics of them.

I must say, partly i'm with you Klaus-Dieter, but on the other hand i'm not. I agree on the chariot, it looks really not very exciting, and it's proportions are weird. But then we have to remain that these are still prelims and it could look way different in the final version. Remember the prelim pictures from the viking sets back then, they also came out hugely different in the end. Then the Troll's fortress: I also agree that it is a nightmare, but i conider that a good thing. because well, trolls are ugly creatures and so is the place they hang out. And also here think about that these are prelims. Btw., i think that the wall segments are all attached to each another with hinges, so it looks to me as if the wall can be wrapped around to close tzhe building, and that it will come out in a kinda like "round" form when closed. I also like the drawbridge best until now, i think it looks pretty majestic. Anyway, i can't wait to see the final pictures of these sets and pics of the interior and details. I still think these will come out as good sets in the end.

I see it the same way. Remember these orange phones besides the freeway? Also, why should TLG put a shell sign on a gas pump instead of an octan one? That wouldn't make sense. only if it would be a promo, and it isn't one as far as i know.

Thanks a lot! Now that's a good morning And yes, of course they are still preliminary, all of them. They have it written all over them.

Has anybody seen this on brickset? I searched excessively, but i found nothing than the blurry prelim SW pics we already know. Did anybody have more luck?
-
I always thought this causes from all the light over the years, but i could be wrong. anyway, for example red bricks getting lighter, is definitely a product of light.

Right, trolls would not fit in the picture at all. It is supposed to be a village somewhere in the kingdom, far away from the battle fields, even the official description says that. We should be lucky that we finally got such an awesome civil themed set under all the war-scene sets.

Glad you got it now, Klaus-Dieter! I'm really starting to get curious now. I just looked on my account at S@H, and now it says it has been shipped today. Can it really be, that i'll get a second set accidentely?
-
We also know that since weeks, and even more details. And we know you're not lying, we have seen the pics before

Everytme this thread has new posts i'm hoping for new, better pictures

Actually i was rather surprised myself. when i saw they weren't numbered. I could have sworn i saw numbered ones in a review before.

Very good review, i loved this set from the first moment i saw it, and now i like it even more. By the way, i assume the turning park on the front is part of the cooler. I cannot agree with everybody sayying that it is too big. Well yes, it definitely doen't fit on the normal road plates, but then on the other hand it isn't made to drive on normal streets. It's made for construction grounds where big masses of earth have to be moved. Just look at this picture from a real bulldozer: It's about the same scale as the lego one (allthough this one is even bigger i think).

Looking forward to it! Did you pick up any other new sets, and where did you get it?

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
metalandi replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Just saw that, and that makes me thinking about something interesting. Could it be that TLG gives us different hints in every country's catalogues on what sets are coming later this year? I'm just wondering, cause first i found the helicopter transport city set in my catalogue, and now this new PM set is in your catalogue. It seems they put at least one different new set in each new catalogue. -
You are right, though i have not seen that around here yet. It's a quite simple vehicle, but it's design works very well, and of course the torso of the minifig is great, and it's very smart from tLG to also include a shovel there.

Breaking news! Brickshelf member Hippotam has got the new farm set "7634 Tractor" and reviewed it already. Check out his folder HERE.

Quoting myself here Just enter one of these numbers where the x's are in this link: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/xxxxxxx.pdf But as i said earlier, they are not online, still. @DJ Force: Hey, i didn't even think about that! That would be really awesome, but somehow i doubt that they would make such a big mistake

Power Miners Official Site
metalandi replied to Infomaniac's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
We know that already, and i think there's no need for a new thread since we have a big power miners thread already, but thats just my opinion. -
Right, i assume the others are not up yet cause the sets are yet to come out. Allthough the 3rd book of the farm is actually online since months, somebody posted a link a bunch of pages back.
