Hmm, but that conflicts with the other source, who appeared to be right about the Star Wars sets...this is strange.
-
Wow, not much of an 'official' set, is it? No serial number, no box seals, no formal instructions, the jungle pit pieces come in a Ziploc bag! Ah well. The other Indy sets are more then good enough for me.

While I don't entirely agree with this list, I have to say, the comics are really funny. Good job, rupi. Keep the list going.

Nope, they're "both" Tim Drake. Who says Robin can't get a haircut sometimes? -
Star Wars Brickmaster Exclusive
Canticleer blues replied to Canticleer blues's topic in LEGO Star Wars
When I saw it, I thought, "Hey, a new mini! That should please some fans." I hope the next Star Wars BM promo has one of those captain Clone Troopers with the new sweet blaster pistols, but maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. -
Star Wars Brickmaster Exclusive
Canticleer blues replied to Canticleer blues's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don't think I'm able to get one, as it's part of an online flashplayer component. If you go to the catalog section of the website, if they have the summer one, it's in there. Page 35-36, at least in the U.S. version. I hope that helps. -
Sorry if this has been noticed before. In the newest Lego online catalogue, there is a picture of the Star Wars Brickmaster Promo set. It has Clone Wars packaging, and the model is that of a mini Juggernaut (AKA Clone Turbo Tank). Thought it was pretty neat.
-
Not really. Batman is a very popular franchise; it wouldn't just up and die in the same way Harry Potter did. Plus, there's actually more sets than last year, remember? That's an increase, not a decrease there. The video game will also help with sales too- just look at what it did to Lego Indiana Jones' already strong sales.
-
Man, once these come out, I'll definitely but at least one set, maybe two.
-
It's a steep price, but there is a lot to like. In addition to all the mini-figs(unique, redesigned, and new), there's a lot- a whole lot- this Death Star can do. It has most important scenes from all the Star Wars movies. Plus, you can't rule out the "Coolness" factor, either. It gives one a nice feeling when people stop and say "Hey, that looks awesome!". I'd say it's worth it. You don't see this kind of model from Lego too often, do you?
-
Perhaps. Sure makes it easier to get all those pieces in one set. I don't think it was as easy to get enough of those to make a white IG droid. I sill think what I said above though. They leave it up to interpretation, so really, it can be whichever one you think it is.
-
"IG-series Assain Droid", eh? Then that can be one of six: IG-88s A-D, IG-72, and IG-97. Based on the fact that this one's on the DeathStar, though, I'd say it's specifically IG-88A. There we are! Problem solved. Ah! I'll have to save up a lot to get this. I guess I have a few months....
-
I'm pretty sure that's IG-88 (see my earlier post with the link to Wookiepedia-he was on the DSII at one point in the EU). The set display people probably don't know who he is and had no idea what to do with him, so they put him there.
-
!!! THAT is too awesome for words Look at it! All the details from different scenes! All the revamped character designs! Even references to Expanded Universe; see IG-88 over there!? Man, I never would've thought we'd get another fig of him! Turbolaser batteries! Cameras! Trash compactor with Dianoga! More Imperials than you could imagine in a TLG set! I don't care what it costs, I must have it...no matter how much it'll set me back. Ow...

Lego indiana jones video game official
Canticleer blues replied to boxcar3's topic in Culture & Multimedia
What's all this about Fedora? In the movie, he doesn't have a "real name"; it's never spoken aloud, or even mentioned, by anyone in the scenes he's in. In the credits of LC, though, he's called "Fedora". Hmmm, apparently, to use "Poo Treasure", you need to buy and activate "Fertilizer" first, and turn it on. Then, it poos studs, instead of Fertilizer. -
Seeing creations like this makes me wish I had a bigger collection. This is amazing! I love the roof and the way the vines twist and twirl around it. The stone face in front is very well-made, better than Temple of the Crystal Skull's. All the spears are used in clever ways. And I love how you utilized the baseplate- details such as the mini-cave, the steps, etc., really make the model. Great little story there too. Johnny beat Indy to the treasure!...it's too bad he's pregnant now; that'll take a few months off his adventuring . Overall, excellent job Batbrick!

Lego indiana jones video game official
Canticleer blues replied to boxcar3's topic in Culture & Multimedia
From what I've heard, Poo treasure makes animals (like horses and llamas) poo studs when you press a button (forgot which one), and Character Treasure makes enemies drop studs when you defeat them. Man, I need to get this game, it looks awesome. -
Darth Legois 619: Yeah, whung said those were promos, so basically they're exclusives. No worries though, if you can't find them, then you could always try Bricklink
-
Why has no one mentioned that sweet orange bike? That looks great, I'll have to get my hands on one of those- either by getting the set or Bricklinking it!
-
Awesome! I just built most of that small car using those instructions. It's great, an excellently designed small car, I'd say just as good as the one in the "Race for the Stolen Treausre" set. Once I get the Indy BM promo, I can finish it in its proper dark green.

I'd like to ask if you could add my Raiders Staff Car to the list. I was unable to get an imae on my thread because my pictures were too big to fit in the post, sadly. -
German Mark VII Tank (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade)
Canticleer blues replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hey, that's a neat tank! I like how you captured the shape of the sides. It's pretty difficult to do right. The turret's pretty good too. The only thing I'm not sure about is the 'stuff' on the sides. Otherwise, it's great! Nice Colonel Vogel BTW! -
Staff Car- Raiders of the Lost Ark
Canticleer blues replied to Canticleer blues's topic in LEGO Licensed
Darn, forgot about that I'll change the first three pics to deeplinks so you can see what it is. Edit: Ended up deeplinking all the pics, see if that works. -
Hello everyone! In honor of the recently released Indiana Jones movie, I've finally decided to post my version of the Nazi Staff Car from Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's the car with Belloq, Toht, and Colonel Dietrich in it, and oddly, the only car not included in the "Race for the Stolen Treasure" set. The pictures are a bit big, so I've posted links to the BS gallery instead. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...staff_car_1.jpg Here's a basic view of the car. Shows most of the details, including the easy-to-miss red flag. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...staff_car_2.jpg Straight-on front view. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...staff_car_4.jpg The (left) side. Those pontoon fenders there were hard to make; all the other brickbuilt designs were larger, so this is the smallest I could make it. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...staff_car_6.jpg The back, with luggages, bags, etc. attached. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...staff_car_8.jpg Here's a shot from the back. That canopy structure back there went through versions than the car itself! Its shape is hard to get right, but I think I did a decent job. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...staff_car_9.jpg Inside the car. Room for 3 figures- that's just enough space to get all the important characters in there. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Blues/Ra...taff_car_92.jpg Here's a scale shot. I kept it at the same scale Adventurers/Indiana Jones cars tend to be. Here's a reference shot, from theraider.net .
