  1. I agree with beerbeard, but if you have that amount of cheese slopes than it does create a cool look. I myself dont have that much cheese so I like to use them on different things. Some ideas are very original! Like the use of a red lightsaber as hot metal and the big oven. Looking forward to THE completed Moc, but etzel is right, better pictures really improve a moc, as strange as it might seem.
  2. I really like the forgotten falls. The way the entrance is built in a corner is bery good. The two other mocs are also very good! The wall of the gate house is nicely detailed.
  3. Oh I'm sorry man! Haha, well if anyone tries to copy it, everybody will know it's your design. It is a very original and cool idea, so looking forward to see it fully build.
  4. Wow very cool. Maybe you could use it in the third challenge? That the shrine of the crystal of Kaliphlin is inside the biggest (chief?) Wyrm or something? Just thinking out loud. Great MOC!
  5. Hereby I, Balruf Whiteman, make myself electable as Prime Minister of mighty Mitgardia. "Let Mitgardians take care of themselves!" My Political programme is mainly focused on the Ministery of Interior and Kingdom (Jarl in this place) Relations. I am going to make sure that you Mitgardians are going to pay less and get more in return! That sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?! It's not! By lowering the taxes to the High King and the import of Kaliphlin/Avalonian/Nocturnian(Is that the correct word?) goods/products and highering the productivity and self-sufficiency of our own products and work, I will make sure that there will be close to none unemploymentship in Mitgardia. And offcourse with more work, there is more income and with more income there is more profit! But enough of the political talk. I will let some of the townspeople say something. You can relate to them way more easily than to my decadent talk about self sufficiency and unemploymentship. Smithy Glenn and worker Nils Glenn: "Me and my brother Nils here, we were unemployed for a very long time, eh Nils!" Nils: "Yeah, but then Lord Balruf came!" Glenn: "Yes, he used his money to make the small town of Breezerock into a trading route. He built a market, a blacksmith and lots more. And make me in charge of the Blacksmith! Wow what a great man!" Bandit Seth and guard Rook Seth: "I used to go and steal whatever I wanted. If it was shiney, it was mine! But than that stupid Balruf came and brought the cityguards to Breezerock." Rook: "Me and my brother were first very poor merchants, but by the captains of Balruf's personal army, we were trained to become townguards." Elder Kor and berserker Glashruk Glashruk: "Aaargh! Grrruaghkraaa. Sqraaahaakaka..." Kor: "Don't mind him, a great guard, but defineatly no speaker. What I wanted to say. My clan of orc warriors set camp on the hills of mount Breeze for a very long time. We have been in quarrel with the townsmen for as long as I can remember, but than Balruf the Great came. He invited us for a meeting with the town leaders and didn't let us out before the arguement was settled. Now we live in peace and even trade with the men and women of Breezerock! What a great man!" So if you want a good leader with the skills needed for the job? Choose Balruf and Mitgardia will blossom, just like Breezehome did! "Let Mitgardians take care of themselves!" Directors cut: Sorry for the photo quality, I used my phone because my girlfriend took the powerhouse camera with her to Africa boehoe. She'll be back in two weeks, so after that I can make good pics.
  6. I am working on a little bit of competition for the prime minister mini challenge. Story, photo's and campagne should be ready before the deadline. So that should make things atleast a little more interesting. Also really like the main third challenge. I have some ideas, but dont know if I have the time and sufficient bricks to build my idea, but Im defineatly gonna try my hand on that! Cool throne room Sirens!
  7. Thanks Robuko! I just made an order for a couple of lego world racer buggys and powerboats which include the heads I was looking for.
  8. Robuko Where did you get the minifig head for Isabella? (the one with the purple scarf). In which set is it or where can I order it? I'm having a hard time finding minifig heads with a scarf, or at least something which conseals the mouth/nose, eventhough I know there are severall of them made (at least, I thought so). If someone could help me out with this it would be very helpfull.
  9. Wow, this is insane! Cant say much more actually, I'm speechless. The colours, the shapes, the dragon... It all looks so good. Cant wait for the story and more pictures.
  10. Nice tavern legonardo! The outside floor is great, very cool design. Does it also have an interior? I really like the second floor sticking out of the basefloor.
  11. Colourful. I like the boat design and the use of some parts as decorative for the houses. The fountain is also a very nice detail in the moc. Good job.
  12. Wow this really looks great! I like the way it is built inside the mountainwall and Im very curious of whats inside it. It does remind me of Petra like some said before, very cool!
  13. I really like the shape of the ship! Nice and smooth in the right places. Good details and the idea of dwarves on a ship itself is quite original. The sails are in a great shape, very good ship!
  14. Nice tower and scenery! Im just a sucker for round tower design! I should really try my hand on such a design once. Love the minifigs and the small details like the river and the rockformations. Great moc!
  15. Nice! A great addition to your already impressive army of wolves. I also like it that you've build the warship without a solid bottom part, I dont have any of those so this proves I can build my own warship, thanks for that! Especially the use of bones and the captains lodge and its upperdeck are great.
  16. Hey guys. just wanted to add this little vignette here (didnt think its worthy of its own thread ): Its a hawk den (I dont know the right English word, any of you guys do?) which will be placed in my village, but just wanted to show it to you and wanted to know what you think. More pics in Mocpages. And sorry of the quality and size, Im using a phone as camera at the moment and I dont know how to resize, I tried with paint but the quality gets even worse when I try
  17. Oh yeah offcourse! Haha I could've known that about the werewolf piece. I did saw a black hairpiece with elven ears here: Dark Elf Lord But I'm guessing this is a custom made, because most of the other pieces are all customized or self-made.
  18. I like the ship and deer head design! Also the wave effect looks good. I just had a question: Where did you get the brown-haired elf? Or did you paint them yourself?
  19. Noticed you are dutch by this sentence haha :p me too! Nice embassy! Love the Mitgardian building style and you pulled it of nicely. Great interiors and some neat little 'stories' inside. Wonderfull moc!
  20. Lieutenant Sev of the Calendi'n from Mitgardia would like to register for the gladiator games (the left one) Right hand of the great captain Volkan and best swordsman among the ranks of the Calendi'n. Extremely able with both bow and sword, so a great contestant for the gladiator games!
  21. Hello, I would like to join Mitgard. I already posted my fig and story there, but forgot to post in this thread, is that a problem? Also, can I still join the gladiator games? I would like to if possible! Are there more thing I need to post somewhere or here before I can compete with callenges and stuff? Please let me know! Cheers ~ Blaze
  22. Hello guys. I've been looking at the pages of Historica for a few days now and decided to join the ranks of Mitgardia (if thats possible?). I saw the MOC's of Sirens on mocpages and that inspired me to start with castle lego once again after a 2 year hiatus. My name is Jan, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Holland. I already have a character and a backstory, but I didnt had the chance to read all 35 pages of the mitgardian subforum (Im at page 25 at the moment), so I hope that I dont trespass anyone's teritory with my story. If so, please let me know so I can adjust/delete it! This is Volkan: A member of the royal guard of the Jarl, but also captain of The Snipers/Caledi'n. The Snipers/Caledi'n are the top class archers in Mitgard. Only the best of the very best are among their ranks and each of them is picked personally by Captain Volkan. These are two veteran mebers of The Snipers/Caledi'n. Edmund and Reuben. They dont have a uniform, eventhough they are part of the army of Mitgard. They use what kind of armor suits them best. When the Snipers/Caledi'n are picked, they are sent to the village of (insert a village name? I dont know the names of villages which are still available? (Oh and it has to be in a forrest, can I create my own village?)), where all the Snipers/Caledi'n live and train. This is Captain Volkan with his lieutenant Sev. The two men in charge. I hope you guys like it. I had the feeling there weren't any elite archers in Mitgard and archers are my favorite class, so I decided to create the Snipers/Caledi'n. If anyone knows a better (mitgardian) name for them, please let me know (EDIT: I've also come up with the nam Caledi'n because I thought it was norwegian for artillery, can someone confirm? Please comment on what you guys think is better)! And other ideas and advice are more than welcome (including a name for the village/forest they live in). I'm planning on building the village where they live and train and I will also participate in as many challenges as possible! Oh and sorry of the lesser quality of photo's, I took them with my phone because I broke my camera haha :P EDIT: Does someone know why my pictures are so big? The first time the site resized them to 50%, but now he resizes to 60/70% which is kind of annoying.
