  1. rucorder Great that you are going to be more active! I've seen your work on mocpages and I really like your builds. I still am curious though how you attach that visor to your minifigs, I can only achieve that look by bending them alot.. Kabel Your fig has been updated. Coincedently I bought a small kingdoms set tuesday, which had the exact head included
  2. Did you grow a beard, steen? I'll have to replace your figs head in my moc than, I allready had you in it without the beard
  3. A few pages ago some of you guys were debating about some mocs not being at the correct scale. I do believe this one is (and if not, it sure comes very close) Link And I sure hope the sets hit Holland soon! Can't wait to see them in person!
  4. Yeah Mitgardia is doing great! Too bad I won't be able to contribute for a couple of weeks. I'm finally going to live on my own after 22 years, so most of the time I have I'll use to work on the house. And I don't even know if I can take all my Lego with me I do have one last big moc which I hope to finish before I move over, so I'll go out with a bang!
  5. Amazing! I really like the dark red arms on those wolfpack torso's! And that vulture is genius, the droid head and the hairpart are very original (or atleast, I haven't seen it anywhere else). Very cool entry, its is going to be a tough cookie to crack.
  6. Yes I agree with Soccerkid that you should add a little landscape, it makes the build more "Alive" A very solid build, with good detail, although I do agree with Captain Beerbeard.
  7. Wow Cara! That really is a gorgeous shrine! Can't wait to see the entire entry. And Stormbringer: Great you chose Mitgardia! I really like your creations on your mocpage so I'm looking forward to see your creations in Mitgardia. Can the northern rangers call the help of Jaeric whenever they aren't able to slay a monster in the north?
  8. I didn't realise that the mines of moria and the battle for helms deep would be so expensive. But I could have known given that it is a licensed theme. Nevertheless I will eventually buy them all Does anyone know the price of the forge, it isn't listed with the others.
  9. Very nice DarkDragon! Great scene. And Soccerkid: I'll defineatly use sir Glorfindel! He may used a razor or is wearing his helmet, 'cause I don't own that face
  10. Thanks guys! Soccerkid Yeah you're right! I might even include the entire scene, but the project I'm working on is way bigger than the 32x32 rule. Sirens You also are right offcourse, most of the time I use a different place for photo shooting, where the lighting is better and where I can set up a complete white background. I don't really know why I didn't this time haha.
  11. My entry for the slums challenge is also up! Eccles: From which set is your sigfig's face? I'm building a valholl market scene and it would be cool if I could add some of you guys in it! If anyone wants to partake, let me know! A photo of your sigfig or a link to one would help big time!
  12. I got bored today so I made this little vignette for the Slums mini challenge. Thanks for watching!
  13. Very cool! I really like the beginning with Kaloyan using a predecessor of Lego and explaining that it isn't only for children to play with "blocks" Can't wait for the next episode!
  14. What angeli said
  15. If you use your imagination almost everything is possible! For example an ambassy of Mitgardia/nocturnus in the desert, or some sort of quest of your adventurers in kaliphlin (the desert nation). Just be original and use your imagination and you can justify every build.
  16. Yes, but in my challenge three entry, the terrain was easier to detail imo. Snow, caves, forest etc are all rather easy to make it more complex. In a city is is way harder (or at least, for me), also because I don't have an unlimited amount of tiles like some other builders. I'll try to come up with some pathwork or something in my next build, maybe that will add enough texture.
  17. Wow! Very nice. I love the wings and the organic shape, you really are a dragon master. I like that you come up with so many great ideas for the head and shape of every dragon you make. Check out this Link!! It's a very good Link!! All of you should check my Link btw!
  18. I allready built one entry for the mini challenge Trainig grounds It is not my best work, but it was fun to build. I am going to enter more though.
  19. I made this one in less than two hours. The build itself isn't great, I just wanted to play around with the different face expressions of the minifigs. The overall view. The general doesn't seem to be very pleased with the new load of soldiers-to-be. One of the instructors. Also not very pleased so it seems. "LOWER! HURRY UP! YOU'RE DOING IT COM-PLET-ELY WRONG!!" "Yes, great swing." Motivation is maybe the best way to train. Unfortunately only one of the trainers agrees with that. This is my first entry to the Mitgardian mini challenge, where we have to build a moc for the army in Valholl (a wall/sentry/trebuchet, anything goes). Does anyone has some advice on making a better baseplate? I think mine is way too boring and plain, but I don't really have a clue how to improve it.. Thanks for looking!
  20. Officer of Valholl is a great title, I'll defineatly enter that one! I don't really care for the poor though but I'll try to whip one up for that one too. Cool mini challenges and cool prizes/titles as well, good job Sirens and Eccles!
  21. Wow, what a great ruined church/temple! So much to love there. Why is the bottom of the side walls snotted btw? Are you going to put some foliage or decorations there? Really great and it isn't even finished Also nice, the scene that Trian is running away from your guardian with the crystal in his hand
  22. Angeli What about decals? I've seen a lot of guys use minifigs, made with decals. Some of them are really good! I had the afternoon off today and found myself an hour to make a start with my Valholl moc. Here are the marketstands I made today: The three of them together. I tried to make each stand different than the other. Not only in the colours, but also in the structure. The womand in the stands seems rather happy with her stand, eventhough it's empty. The biggest stand. Owned by a rich merchant, rarely seen himself behind the stand, except for now! The only stand I decorated with products, because the front is very plain imo, so I used the crates as details. A rather angry owner so it seems. A bit of a jealous type, this guy, 'cause he's upset he has the smallest stand. The roofcolour here is my favourite, I really like the orange and yellow, eventhough the blue and red is maybe the standard, this one I like the most. On the big one I used black and blue/purple because I think that it's a more regal, expensive looking roof. Indea's and tips? Most welcome!
  23. Did we really just lost the battle for Stormbringer to that green bunch of Susans and Sallies? What a shame Good luck in the forests Storm, if you ever feel like partying with the big boys, you know where we at!
  24. Wow thanks for the lists and sets guys! That 5$ Atlantis set sounds promessing. I didn't knew that the PotC sets had that many good parts, my brother gave me one (he owed 30€, so in stead of the money, he gave me a PotC set haha ) and it really is a cool set, great minifigs and attributes imo. ecclesiastes wow really? I'll pm you, thanks!
  25. Very cool! The river is also my favourite part and the monument is also well built. Great entry with a good story, good luck with the challenge
