  1. Little Christmas update; rear section is starting to take shape where you can see motors placement, battery placement is ready (needs hood to cover up) and boom is at the beginning stage...
  2. Don't say that; I spent more than half a year to make decent bonnet... perhaps I should make tractor without bonnet...
  3. That is a deal; here where i live (private) people who sell used sets are often more expensive than (example) Mueller store...and when you point that out then you got all possible negative feedback...like you are not democratic etc... Last summer both my wife and me decided that I'll probably buy only special needed parts for my MOCs that I plan to keep assembled (or evolution of those but will keep them). Unfortunately motorbikes do not fit my scale despite I wanted to recreate my grandfather's bike...
  4. Long ago I wanted it for truck axle, but could not find part number...glad if I can help.
  5. Perhaps something like this https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=44137#T=C Or this https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=44135#T=C Or this... https://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-bionicle-curved-beam-44136/comesin (Sorry the last one took a lot of time to find it)
  6. I suppose that bent liftarms 4 x 4 would replace gray connectors...does solution close to wheel with black connectors has to be with angle that you choose, or 90° angle is acceptable?
  7. Andy perhaps bent liftarms could do the job...
  8. Hardest thing is to maintain correct width because LEGO tires are often to wide in comparison with real one...example is my Fastrac - maximum tire width is mostly 600mm which in my scale gives 40mm, but after consulting with local JCB distributor I found out that there is factory option 710/60R30 and max permitted tractor width 2700mm so I had solution for my initial problem; otherwise it would have turning circle like original tractor Another thing is how to incorporate mostly characteristic features / functions since machinery that I make have very narrow and very stiff chassis and lots of motors...and technic battery box is not small There are lots of hardest parts and because every MOC is actually a compromise, you need best possible compromise... Hope that my post is not to long ...
  9. Well on my work I do not even mention LEGO, but sometimes I got and idea and sketch it when I finish a job (in a car after I leave work; of course i pull over to make a sketch...) Since I have very sensitive eyes (due my previous jobs) I keep doing things in classic way as much as possible... I know and sometimes when I do something else ideas pop up and then I go to my notebook (chassis notebook) to sketch idea and test it when possible ... Like you can see in my tread that I had to make small change to incorporate boom ...and I have some 5 MOCs in my head...
  10. I know and sometimes when I do something else ideas pop up and then I go to my notebook (classics notebook) to sketch idea and test it when possible ... Like you can see in my tread that I had to make small changes to incorporate servo below boom...
  11. Balasz is there something that can use as an adapter to this with PF motors? (Images are small on my mobile phone, so I can not see it clearly...) Thanks
  12. ...because I had chassis bending I needed to reinforce chassis. At the end I needed to make one stud bigger wheelbase. Current state of project looks like this... Sorry for bad photo quality Any comment is welcome
  13. I think it will have axles something like rear axles from 42043 set...but let's us be (pleasantly) surprised. IMHO (as I mentioned and posted image of real Zetros...) it would be a Trial truck. Unimogs with torque tube axles are very popular trial trucks (among others of course like Tatras...not to forget Russian monsters), but somehow I have a feeling that good old Unimog 404 will have a successor... ...remember that in 2019 we had a Liebherr and offtoader both with PU, so this year's Cat and Zetros could be the same game...
  14. ...or on other project / MOC (And then there is always something in between... )
  15. Form tires (diameter and appropriate tread pattern), then I see what I can squeeze between them. That is why I spent an eternity to make proper MOC
  16. Miha somehow it looks like you design for OCC (Orange county choppers)
  17. I know the feeling; need 3 of them but my budget does not allow polybag now so Sian (even LEGO) is a dream...
  18. 11 x 15? That one's I need for my other project; the one that i send you that uses tatra axles...and I still look for it...
  19. You know that scale (21 studs wide chassis) with decent can details could be the solution
  20. I know; had to re-re-reinforce my telehandler chassis; when series of photos will be done this days I'll post them... How beneficial would be to have yellow frames
  21. Or time... I suggest you to use frames as much as possible
  22. Probably since L and XL motors are practically the same with different suit...
  23. Interesting video; did you try to test batteries with PF motors?
  24. That is interesting futuristic concept
