If you go to MCN, you can download templates to use for just about anything. If you need a good printer, Redbean will print them for you at near-cost, and you get nice waterslide decals to use X-D

I'll look for the freeness tomorrow, I'll shoot you a PM when I find it ;-)

You haven't seen the design of the ILC before, have you? ;-)

It looks like there's a minimalistic interior in the hanger, but that's it. And this is a beautiful MOC, I have to say. I think it's all bley, right? Great work... *wub*

It costs about $580US... BUT We're on the internet, where everything is free :-D :-P
-
:'-( But I'll probably just continue it in this thread, since it isn't specifically about Photoshop I guess ;-) Damn...how can illustrator be HARDER? I have exams, I don't have the time for this *sing*

This makes me realize how little I know about PS. I mean I tried to do that and couldn't >_> I did do this over an opaque version of the standard smilie though, so the eyes and smile are where they should be. I'm just adding eyebrows and a pupil. Time to take this to illustrator though, I hope I can figure that out faster :-D Thanks for all your help Brick Miner, I really appreciate it

They'er limited edition casts of something that combines two of the things I love most. $65US is fine. Besides, it's not like they're made out of ABS ;-)

Well I don't play this kind of game, but I think it would be very useful to have. I think it would also attract new members to our community. It would be slow at first, but could grow to be a lot of fun

Not to get off topic (even though I kinda am ;-)) but I have a Christmas decoration where they do just that :-P Someone remind me to take pictures around Christmas! -
But droid heads without the corresponding bodies frustrate me >_< so I'd rather get a red droid body, or them include an extra bronze body with the bronze head for when the droid is out of the ship (which I think they should have done all along)

Damnit...so all the work I did in that is lost? Yes, sadly I DID put a decent amount of work into that, playing around, making sure I didn't have so much as one stray pixel... *wacko* But it's not like it was that good to start with :-P Thanks for the advice. Now time to "buy" Adobe Illustrator ;-)

Well yeah, that's how I knew about nearing 100,000, but like I said, I don't believe you can see individual post numbers, so that link was a bit of a mystery to me as well :-P

I'll gladly do a "review" in Feb :-P

I don't know if he was pointing directly to that post, since I don't think you can see the post number for each

Good research! I guess it makes sense since the factory needs to print up a picture of the model and a box, as opposed to just the bags of the PaB -
THAT is awesome, I need to buy them...someone give me money :-D

Well, as I mentioned in my topic E-mail poll from Lego, one of the options that they're considering is either a Pirates of the Caribbean line, or just a regular ol' Pirate line ;-) Even if it's nowhere near being put into practice...at least it's getting somewhere, right?

Well Phes is a safe bet, he posts like 50% of our messages :-P It figures, I was just looking two days ago how we were close

I'm trying to design a face in photoshop but...I'm rather new (as my other topic states) and I'm having some difficulty. I made one eye which I'm satisfied with, but when I tried to copy it the second eye came out...significantly different. Also when I tried to make an ellipse, I got the full oval, when I just wanted the outline so I could fill the line in later. Any idea why it's happening? Also, I'm still getting used to layers, so it's been awkward. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, feel free to respond or IM me on any of my accounts (just remember AIM is a closed list, so ask me to add you first). Sorry for the trouble, but now I've decided to give it a shot, and if I can't even add pupils or anything of the like...anyway, I'd appreciate the help. Currently I've only one good eye, and a smile. Thanks for any help! Edit: Worked on it a bit more, this is what I have so far I know it's really bad, that's why I need the help :-P I need to fix the eyes (want them just to be outlines...not black ovals), make blue pupils with some level of detail, etc *wacko*

You'd better take more :-P I love the buildings and landscaping. It almost looks like there should be a tombstone near that patch of white flowers. What I absolutely LOVE though is the hoe. The brick-built restraints around the horses neck is phenomenal

Here's my list. Keep in mind this reflects my personal taste. While Zelda games may deserve a high spot on here, they're not my cup of tea ;-) 10. Super Smash Bros. (N64) One of the best selling all time multiplayer fighting games, Super Smash Bros. brought a collection of Nintendo's most popular characters together in an arena where they could duke it out (in toy form), using a multitude of their signature moves, and throwbacks to their games. While it's sequel may be even more fun in some areas (more characters, moves, locations, minigames, items, modes, events, trophies), the original has not only the prestige of being the first in the series, but has much more memorable stages (and in many cases, a better control scheme). 9. Super Mario Bros. (NES) A childhood favorite that almost everyone can remember playing. The kind of game that, while the same, was somehow different every time you played it, and never got boring. Mostly remembered packaged with the game Duckhunt, the original Super Mario Bros. brought videogame entertainment into the homes for millions of people, who remember this as their first video game experience. This introduced the evil King Koopa, Bowser, as well as an assortment of enemies for the Italian Plumber, Mario, to stomp on and defeat. Truly a classic. 8. F-Zero (SNES) Although I'm not a fan of racing games, I fondly remember playing the original F-Zero on my old SNES. For its day, F-Zero had phenomenal graphics, and a soundtrack memorable even till this day that perfectly fit each scene and made the racing game into something truly epic. 7. Advance Wars The first in the series for the GameBoy Advance, Advance Wars put you in charge of an army trying to defeat the sinister Black Hole organization. This game (and series) was interesting in that you could capture cities and factories to gain resources and build armies. You could afford to sacrafice units for the sake of victory, or be overwhelmed and let your whole army be destroyed. It's well known for its difficulty towards the later levels on Hard mode, and its assortment of units made the game different each time you played, and an enjoyable (though sometimes frustrating) experience. 6. Megaman Battle Network 2 (GBA) The sequel to the first Megaman Battle Network game (also for the GameBoy Advance) improved upon it in ways most sequels only dream of. A bigger world, improved graphics, and an increased variety in Chip selection. Megaman Battle Network takes place in an alternate reality of the normal Megaman Universe, where instead of robots, the internet won out. People have PErsonal Terminals called PETs, which are basically advanced AI that can stay in your digital oganizer, or run errands for you on the internet. These PETs are largely based off of the robots in the original Megaman universe, both good guys and Wiley's "robot masters". Unlike most RPGs, the action is in real time, although there are turns. After a set amount of time, you can select "chips" to use that let Megaman use a certain attack once for each chip (each chip can only be used once in a battle). In between you can use your normal buster canon, and try not to get killed on a 3x3 grid (your opponent, another Navi or a virus, also has a 3x3 grid to maneuver on). 5. Super Mario World (SNES) What can I say? Amazing graphics, fun gameplay, new items, new enemies, alternate paths, alternate endings, beautiful music. If you never played it, get it now. 4. Trauma Center: Life in the ER (NDS) One of the hardest games for the Nintendo DS, Trauma Center made a name for itself with its fast cult following, making it sell out fast enough for a second run to be printed (similar in this aspect to its "rival", Pheonix Wright). In this you use the stylis to operate on a series of patients. About 1/3 of the way through, you move more towards a fantasy aspect, but still perform medical procedures. It uses real terminology, and the correct procedures, so any medical fans are sure in for a treat. Yeah, it's hard, but totally worth it. Satisfaction when you beat X10 is unbelievable. 3. Fire Emblem 7 (GBA) Another long-running francise, Fire Emblem 7 (an sRPG) was the first game brought out of Japan from the series. The games tend to be in groups of two, so that if you haven't played the older ones, it won't hamper you from grabbing the newer ones. It's unique in the aspect that when you lose a character, they're gone for good. No revives. No Pheonix down. Nothing. They're dead. You also wear out items as you use them, and need to buy replacements. A fantastic game that requires a decent level of strategy, and a fun challenge on Hard Mode. A must-play for anyone (includes multiple support conversations for many playthroughs) 2. Pok

I just checked my mail, and noticed an e-mail I got from Lego awhile ago asking for my input in a poll on a series of ideas which had to be answered by October second (yikes!) I'm filling it out now, and thankfully it's still letting me. The first thing I noticed is a series of questions asking about LEGO partnering up with other companies to offer things such as electronics, clothing, accessories, furniture, food, etc. Then I see: I can add my own suggestions too. They include for me: VERY interesting. Here is what was listed in order of popularity: Overall, some very interesting ideas and concepts, no? I took the quiz here Where do you think this is going to lead TLG? It's obvious that they really listened to AFOLs more than ever! But the idea of them partnering up with another company doesn't sit well with me for some reason...
