Why not just have it shipped to someone in the US where tax isn't applied and save $40? The Falcon I had shipped to me in Maryland had a $40 tax added, but the ones shipped to NY don't. I plan on changing the shipping address on the first. Try to save as much as possible and all.

Well, it's more that people were carrying on the same conversation in two places rather than a specific aspect of a conversation in one (release information) and another aspect in the other (comments about the set). Now that it's settled (I hope), I don't think it'll be a problem. You have to admit it is kind of silly to have the same conversation carried out in two threads, but it's not a problem :-P

While that's true, it's people posting the exact same message twice that's a little silly. I mean it's like carrying on the same conversation in stereo :-D

Listen, this is getting ridiculous. We're having people post the same thing twice. Once here and once in the thread dedicated to the cafe in Trains and Town. If there are questions about release, I guess keep it here. But if there are questions and/or comments about the cafe as a set, please post in the other thread here :-)

Well of course people can be curious, but after you're told 10 times to drop it, you drop it :-P I'm sure there's a very good reason it isn't being talked about on the boards (I don't know myself), but that fact is that I'm sure it's being done for the good of the board. I don't think there's any problem with posting pictures in general, it's just that after something is asked to be removed, it's done. It's not like EB is selling out or anything. It's not about respecting the brick, it's about respecting each other. I think some pictures were removed a little bit ago (within the last year), though we didn't have as big a reaction as this...we also didn't have so many new members ;-) My basic point is that it's nothing to be worried about or concerned about. EB isn't changing, this was done for the betterment of the community :-)

What they're saying really isn't important. They want the pics removed, so it's only right to remove them, no? It's bad business to show your sets too early, other companies can copy them. I'm sure they're just trying to run damage control from the accidental leak

Well, I think it would be somewhat like what happened this time. They get put up, and if TLG wants them to be removed, they are. EB isn't censored at all, but there's not much you can do when you get asked to remove them...
