  1. Regardless of the onset of criticism of SP3, Squidman Escape is far superior to this set. It comes with two awesome figs and the little covercraft is much more streamlined. Still, it's not bad. Good review.
  2. You do realize you could simply not use the sticker sheet for the same effect, right?
  3. Your review is fantastic, and it certainly does this set justice! This is probably the most solid set from the current SP3 line. Two fantastic vehicles and three awesome minifigs for a pretty reasonable price. What more could a Space fan ask for? I think both vehicles have their strong and weak points, but I really think LEGO went over the top with the stickers on the Skull ship. It's practically coated in them. Normally I don't mind a few stickers for extra detail, but that's just ridiculous. Oh well- the end result is pretty good looking, at least. I like the Skull ship much more up close than on the box. The Police ship is pretty mean looking too, though slightly less fleshed out.
  4. This guy is pretty cool. I normally stay away from Bionicle but I appreciate the aesthetics here. It works well. Nice review!
  5. On the contrary... I'm glad that SP3 is getting some ground vehicles. We have enough ships to last us the rest of the theme's existence. In fact I'd love to see a few MORE ground vehicles- perhaps a hovercraft or some kind of a tank. I'm not overly impressed by the Max Security Transport but I'm cautiously optimistic about it. I like the wheels- makes it look like a moon rover. The huge engines on the side though make no sense whatsoever and I dislike the cockpit. On the other hand, the back looks kickass from what I can see of it. And yeah, that little flier is just stupid.
  6. Yep, that's 3 sets now with the jail cells. Unfortunately none of these have been released yet in the US.
  7. Yeah, I imagine that will be the biggest appeal to those who just want to collect the aliens. While I personally believe that the Galactic Enforcer is superior to the Max Security Transport, the latter is definitely the best way to get a hold of that Orc alien. I, however, will be picking up both.
  8. I dig the Max Speed Transport! It really looks like a moon rover with those wheels. It's like a smaller and faster Armored Drilling Unit, and that's not a bad thing. However I do have to admit that the prelim design is far superior... shame.
  9. Excuse me? I said nothing about the review itself- it was fine. I'm just not at all impressed by the set, and there is no need to disrespect a difference of opinion.
  10. Yeah, the price is really gonna be the deciding factor to me. Also, how good the other exclusive turns out.
  11. It's got a jumbled look, but it's appealing in it's own way. The Police vehicle isn't great, but I do like the other small ships.
  12. Already posted, but I don't mind seeing it again. I think it's one of the best Power Miners sets around.
  13. Very interesting. I like the small escort vehicles a lot; very creative.
  14. Yeah, I especially like how smooth the entire vehicle looks. Very slick. Hopefully to be released sometime soon. Do we know the price?
  15. Actually... the Cave Crusher looks pretty good in that video. I'm surprised at how good it looks.
  16. No thanks.
  17. Let us know what they say, I'm quite curious.
  18. Looks terrible to me. Bionicle has really lost it's appeal. Why is he yellow?
  19. I'd buy it. I wish Power Miners was actually like this.
  20. Ah, well, I'm usually more interested in the aesthetics, and Gold Heist is severely lacking in that department. The Galactic Enforcer, however, looks gorgeous.
  21. Trust me on this one: Skip the Gold Heist and put the money towards the Galactic Enforcer. I gotta say that the Heist is one of the most disappointing sets from this theme; so promising at first, but the actual set is pretty mediocre. (Not terrible, mind you; just not nearly as good as it looks).
  22. Yes he does, and he's stealing an old statue to boot. He'll be in really high demand since he's in the largest set. Another reason to pick it up!
  23. Well, that close-up view of the Galactic Enforcer has made the purchase for me! Looks fantastic! ...now if only it would get released in the US...
  24. Oh, my... at first I was considering picking this set up, but now I can see that it is extremely skeletal. The front and side views are both terrible. I'll be skipping this one. I DO like the rock monster, though. Good review!
  25. Also looking forward to your review.
