Its on 15-501 business (I lived 5 min from there). I remember I bought there Mos Eisley Cantina and the new Xwing BEFORE they were out on S@H.

Imagine me living one year and a half in Durham NC ;) Actually I loved it there :) Cheap stuff, cheap food, Mustang, great TRU, Barnes and Nobles... I am surprised that at the huge TRU in the big mall next to Raleigh (I can't remember the name though, sorry) there are no ROTS sets.

The new droid army led by general Grivious create havoc, the clone army with the jedi fight those nasty mechanical things. Then the Empire comes to being and use the clones to eradicate the jedis, ultimate last resort of freedom in the galaxy. Padme pregnant has twins - dies - twins kept secret - two last jedi flee. Wookies fight for the independence of their planet - loose - Chewie escapes thus becoming the only free wookie of the galaxy (thats why Jabba wants him bad. This kind of sums it up ;)

That would effectively be awsome but its kind of weird when you think TRU have been sold for 6.6B$. Maybe they learned that Lego is much better than Playmobil ;)

That is so true but I wanted the bigger sets at first, well I'll see what's available. Oh well starting with small sets is also good so next week I can blow my paycheck :-D The only thing fore sure is that I will not pick Grevious chase: sure the minifig is awsome but paying 25

Wait tomorrow to say that :P It might happen that I will go home with only small sets :'( If thats the case I'll pick up a few walkers at least, not to cross Paris on a sunny saturday with megablock traffic :-D

Pick it up? Where? Bloody Jay I called my Lego store in Paris (at work actually, hummmm ;) ) and they told me they received a lot of the new ROTS sets. I didn't ask them which sets in order to have the pleasant surprise tomorrow morning (that is if I wake up ;) ). I really hope to have the Arc fighter and the clone tank.....I'll see tomorrow anyway >-|

Thanks mister_phes for the vocabulary lesson ;) (I admit one was needed :-D ). The bowsprit looks great on a big ship, but just complicate the smaller ones (its a question of taste anyway).

Yes more old themes ;) I really want a new redesigned Divers theme with an underwater sunken ruined gallion, an underwater secret cave... Also a new fisherman boat, a tug boat...

Back on topic ;) Not yet, but I seriusly consider it. I will see tomorrow depending on how many SW sets are out ;) As you say, it would not be complicated to make a quite nice and easy MOC on a great theme that is lacking some serious sets :'( For sure, I consider getting rid of the long thing at the front of the ship (my appologies but I do not the real term :$ ) and replace it with a canon (just maybe).

Like we already discuss in another thread somewhere on these boards: 1) it is very hard to quantify the actual "buying power" of AFOLs and KFOLs worldwide. 2) The AFOLs and KFOLs are really diverse and do not represent a homogenious group. Our voice is then totally diluted, and TLC really doesn't know how to communicate and reach us AFOLs. Lets hope that one day they will understand that we need, in some way, to represent a force of persuasion on TLC decisions and Marketing strategies ;)

Now that V()()D()() postponed the contest until the Vicking line comes out, you'll have all the time in the world ;) And mister_phes will plenty of time to find his camera or buy a new one ;) I wonder how you manage to squeeze in another prison cell, because the one you had were really cramped (I wouldn't want to be in one of those :-D ). Are you putting the minimal requested furniture such as a bench and candle? I cannot wait to see what you did with the rock structure!!! Please provide us with pics soon!! Great job ;)
