In the trailer those ties are definitly V-Wings ;) and the shuttle has a totally different front ;) Unlike regular ties, the V-Wing has two engines instead of one.

The two sets I will not get is GGC (for the reasons exposed here above) and the LD: I don't see the point of that set: maybe having two crappy light up sabers ;) Jon, for this lava platform you would need the 2 droids that save Anakin ;) Also I have 2 questions guys: do you think we'll get the new ties (beginning of the trailer) and this really cool ship we also see in the trailer, the one with expanded wings? That would really be sweet ;)

S and XM are not supposed to be comedies but they do include nice humour which is nice ;) Two different movies, two different directors, two kind of humour ;)

Because French companies are on the stock market, the gvt doesn't have anything to say on the financial report (because we have a very regulatory stock exchange commission). I know that the company I'm working for will disclose the ENTIRE report because the law requires it (as soon that a company is on the stock exchange). First of all, we don't have the same age ;) I'm nearly 30 ;) I was like you younger, I had to save my money for the things I wanted the most... Now things are different because I work and thus have a salary (that helps ;) ). Also don't be that eager to have all the sets at the same time, it kind of ruins it, let me tell you. After I have to wait until september for new ones. Thats why I did not build all the sets I bought saturday in one bash. I take time for it ;)

Don't be that eager to have a title my young Padawan Learner (nicely disguised as a snowtrooper) :-D ;) Just wait and continue to be a nice active poster ;) A title will come......eventually ;)

OK then, I'll buy a digital camera at the end of the week (friday or saturday) and take pictures (close-ups mainly) of the sets I have. Its been a long time since I wanted one, so I guess that's an opportunity ;) Also I think that on saturday I will also have all the remaining sets I want (clone tank, ARC fighter & Wookie Catamaran ;) ). HURRAY ;)

I must say its a great set for minifigs, but I couldn't care less about the rest ;) Basically the torso is exactly the same as in the JSF. His head however has a lot more scars, and bigger scars (you could consider them as burn scars :-D ). He also looks kind of burned because he has no eye lashes ;) If I had a bloody camera I would post pictures - I think I'll buy one next saturday (but it will be late because everyone will have all the sets - Ill put pictures anyway ;) ). For GG I can't tell you because I didn't buy it but my guess is that its head fits on a regular minifig torso

TLC should have their board meeting by now, the ones who OKs the financial status. I know in the company I'm working, we had our Supervisory Board meeting in the middle of the month, and we are currently working on the Annual report that is due in the beginning of may. TLC also has to disclose its reports, they have their 3 last ones on their website. I don't know however when they have to disclose it - my guess would be like in France around the beginning of may.

No I did not forget our dear Obi, but we can get him later. I might consider GGC if its in sale for the minifigs though. It doesn't have much interesting parts :'( I also bought DV transformation to have that cool looking droid and another Anakin: I will do a special Anakin like the one you see in the trailer when he is marching in front of the clone army: just put a black hood and a black cape and you're all set ;) Anyway we'll have an Obi minifig with his red JSF (and the other ships): ultimate space battle set ;)

Really its hard to compare the Spiderman movies with the X-men movies ;) OK they're both marvel comics (thanks Stan Lee for all you've done ;) ), Sure you have that common thread: super hero(s) must save the world from egocentric villain, but the way that is treated and the atmosphere is quite different. S1 concentrates of how PP became S, and S2 shows PP's deep interrogations on his life, the doubts he is facing... Its more inter the psyche of the character. Also the message of S is that one man can make a difference in todays world. Whereas XM represent a team of superheros having to work together with their different emotions, background and doubts. One man cannot make a difference as an individual but the group he is in can. In a way it can be viewed as more interesting to have that crossfire of different characters: wolvie in constant quest of his past, jean Grey attracted by two men barely discovers her true powers by sacrifying her life (so it seems at the end of X2 before she rises like the phoenix), the youg ones having difficulties coping with the power they have... (even one turning to the dark side ;) ). The analogy with the nazi regime really show a different morale than in S, being part of a different group, being feered by others doesn't make you less of a man. Aslo the movie shows how a multiracial and multicultural society must work together without feers of discreminations due to your beliefs, religion... I am not taking sides here because I am a big fan of both S and XM ;)
