  1. For myself. City Person Black Falcon Imperial Guard Ice Planet Though I have to admit I'd by all the other suggestions aswell.
  2. Thanks for the heads up TheKid I must start keeping an eye out form now on. I think it looks a great set I just love the classic plane look.
  3. As others have said it's a shame you missed the dead line. It has a great feel and I think the colour scheme works very well together. The slightly darker colours make a nice improvement on the system in my opinion. As others have said the basepalte does seem a bit on the large side, does it fit on the smaller ones or does the jetty jut out?
  4. Admiral Woodhouse obviously though that is influenced by a childhood memory of the catalogue stating he was sent out to the Caribbean as Governor Broadside was lazy and incompetent
  5. Marry a Pirate! Sorry a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan crept in there. I like the MOC especially the pirate in the tub, you’ve constructed a good , though perhaps the tree should have something indicated land below it.
  6. I've gone rather old school and started playing traffic giant for some reason I find it rather relaxing.
  7. Welcome aboard it's great that you have a range of theme's you're intrested in, I hope you enjoy your time here.
  8. It's a nice ideam and if the price is right I might just pick one of these up, I do hope to eem more of these in the future though! Though this is mainly to see if TLC still has the shako mold for the imperial guards.
  9. If I go I'll say hi, I'll be the one with the red carnation.
  10. That is amazing, I’ve never seen a Fabuland train before! I don’t know what else to add really.
  11. I went for a look around last year and I'll proably take a look again this year, it's great to see some of these fantastic models in person.
  12. Welcome aboard I hope you enjoy your time here. I look forward to seeing some pictures of your collection.
  13. The question is, is this due to a decision by Lego, retailers not ordering it or limited supply? I'm tempted to say supply has been limited Bluewater has been struggling to remain stocked with Castle from what I've seen the wizards went in a week when the first came out. I think Lego underestimated demand.
  14. I’m impressed, considering the limits of the factory tool you’ve made a very good looking saloon if it had some added stickers it would be a very good set. The way you’ve managed to capture the wild west theme with standard pieces is very good, it reminds me of the early castle sets with brick built horses.
  15. On top of a dune in the Sahara waiting for sunset, oddly it was a Harry Potter set which I’m not a great fan of.
  16. Dang, my Woolies doesn't have any of them. Oh well it'll have to wait until I can go out to a larger Woolworths on Friday
  17. Beautiful, simply beautiful. You've made an excellent caridge and very realistic I also like the colour choice of sand green.
  18. It looks very good I must say, the interior detail is very good, though I've never seen two members of staff at my local post office! The sorting office counter is well made, I wouldn't have thought of using that piece for scales. It’s also always good when someone remembers the ever important call of nature! The only reservation I have is like Sinner with the tan/yellow combination it just seems to clash too me.
  19. Welcome a'board I hope you enjoy your time here.
  20. It's looking good, the landscaping is comming along very well, all of your trees are really well done. I look foward to seeing it finished, finally will the Union forces be getting a regimental flag aswell?
  21. Thanks for the heads up brickbitz i'll have another look towards the end of the week.
  22. Most impressive, like TheBrickster I’d have never thought to have built a rounded roof like that, overall it’s a great MOC is the man with the rope trying to dip the sheep or pull it out? I have to say I do like what you’ve done with the spinning wheel.
  23. Depends why I bought it, I have a lot of crossbow attack, but these I only really ever intended to be parted out while I keep the figures. My catapults are together as I intend to use them in scenes same with boats. There are a few I’ve kept in boxes but that’s rare mainly if they’re only sale and I think I’ll pick up an extra one for the future. Imperialshadows that’s quite a good rule I might adopt that for myself seems a very good idea.
  24. brickbitz thanks for the reviews, can I ask where you got your hands on them? I went searching at bluewater and they didn’t have any so was it shop@home? Overall I like the helicopter, which I think it excellent and the patrol boat, I’m prepared to forgive the rock based which I agree with tedbeard is a bit non-lego |I think these are the best boat we’ve had since the first port line in the 90’s. I’m not to sure about the truck and boat, while I really like that large boat the truck seems a bit big for me but I’ll still probably get it. Finally brickbitz thanks for doing these great reviews so quickly.
  25. That's a great review for your first one. I think the jet pack if far to bulky it could do with some minimising but that’s life. I assume that you can’t fit a standard hand in the chainsaw arms are the hole would be to large but would you be so good as to confirm this for me? Overall I quite like the jet ski and the ability to lower the arms to much doesn’t both me. How much was it just so I can get an idea of the price? Finally thanks for posting this review so quickly.
