  1. Was your friend the one that scanned them in? If so, ask what the line of small sets were called. Are they Matoran?
  2. Skrall is so inconceivably badass! I love him! Oh, and Berix has a transparent mask! And all have nature images for backgrounds! Like 2001! Plus sides: -Looks very elemental -Good names -Many look pretty darn badass (Skrall!) -Most have new builds for torsos, though made primarily of old pieces -BROWN! -Nice backgrounds with ancient structures -Nice masks -New heads? -Looks like four eye colors- Red, light green, blue, dark green -Little guys look like good sidekicks, having similar designs as big sets Downsides: -Legs still a bit bland -Some still use recycled bodies entirely- Why? -Projectiles boring and rehashed... At least I probably will take many of them off, as I often do Undecided: -Hands...?
  3. I'm not saying or implying that. His is excellently done as well, but the animated one is a good deal harder to make. Plus I dislike the excess of blasters in BIONICLE.
  4. See here. How about we help Mihunai out? Bonesiii's is a very nice one as well, but I feel sorry for Mihunai putting so much more work into his and not winning. Plus, do we really want more blasters in the story?
  5. Cajun's mocs could bite it clean in half.
  6. Uh, they only show the prototypes for the Makuta that already had no Inika torsos. Chances are the proto-Gorast still had an Inika torso. And really, is a one-piece Matoran torso really that much better?
  7. I´ve actually been discussing it with him over PM. And I can stand many things past 2006. I still enjoy BIONICLE greatly, as a matter of fact, but I think there´s always room for improvement.
  8. You know, I think the first half of 2006 is underappreciated. Once the Inika arrived it degenerated into constant combat, but the first half had quite a good mysterious feel. We didn´t know where the Piraka were from or who they were, but we knew they were evil beings posing as Toa (I thought that was very clever). Plus the Matoran characters were adorable! They were a lot like 2001 characters, especially Velika. His stories and fables gave a nice mythical feel to the story and he played a part we hadn´t seen much of since the Turaga dropped out of the spotlight. Garan was nice as well. Dalu and Balta even had a bit of chemistry between them that reminded me of a downplayed Maku/Huki relationship. Not to mention how tribal the Piraka looked. They looked more Polynesian to me than the classic Toa, actually. The story with Karzahni was very nice as well. The second half had some good parts, too, like Vezon and the battle between Axonn and Brutaka, but overall it kind of went stale. Still, I loved those first few months.
  9. I wrote an essay. If you want to give your opinions it´s best that you give them on BZP, as I´m PMing the topic to Greg.
  10. Greg said the story´s starting out simple.
  11. Someone already did this on BZPower in late 2007.
  12. Could you get a picture of it? When I get him I´m planning on doing that and I´d like to see what it looks like.
  13. Have you tried putting it on one, though? Several Mahri masks didn´t fit on Mata heads.
  14. Does his mask fit on a Mata head?
  15. Don´t forget BS01. He´s bugged them quite a bit.
  16. It says "This group is not available to you." What do I do? EDIT: Well, you have to A. Sign up on Flickr and B. Be set up for an 18 and over account. -JINZO
  17. But the pauldron's my favorite part...Anyways, when I get him, I'm switching his arms with Gali's, giving him a hunch, giving him dark green eyes, and replacing all red with silver. I'm undecided right now on claws.
  18. Onua was so incredibly cool in that book. How many Toa can claim to have picked up a friggin' Makuta and slammed them into the ground?
  19. Well, I can read it and I'm not sad... As is my understanding.
  20. I'm buying the spider-droid.
  21. I just got Swamp of Secrets today. It was kickass. Onua's so cool.
  22. That was phrased poorly. I meant that his Phantoka form is ridiculously bulky by Pohatu's standards, around where Onua should be.
