Here once again to show off what I've been doing recently with LDD: I updated my TARDIS models because they still seemed too big to be truly minifig-scale. This time, I took cues from the models built by Mark Stafford over on MOCPages and this approach works better, even though the models do not have opening doors this go-round. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Comments/suggestions welcome. LXF coming later this evening ;)

Downloading from Dropbox
Jason C. Hand replied to Jason C. Hand's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Updating as many of these guys as I can tonight, won't get to them all. Will do the one(s) attached to the Official Sets in LDD, though -
Hello, Please forgive the late reply to your post. I was inspired by TVJUNK85's mockup after watching a video that he uploaded in Youtube. The model wasn't complete, but later I found a few pictures found on the Web that incorporated what TVJUNK85 did with the "body" of the original Boga, leading to what we have above.

Hi Calabar, Thank you again for the tip. I'll go to bricksafe & check them out. -
Hello all. It seems that there has been a lot of trouble brewing around downloading from Dropbox. Recently, I've seen the "509 Error" (This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!) As a temporary solution to the problem, I've moved all the LXFs I've built over to Google Drive. If anyone wants to download any of them, please feel free to drop a line at jhand002@gmail.com, and I will supply the link to whichever file you'd like, free and no questions asked. Hope you all have a good evening.

Hello again, AFOLs! Sorry for not being on here in such a long while, I have been busy with other things. Anyway, here is another small MOC done in LDD, once again based on Doctor Who. This time, I looked to the new series, having recently watch "Aliens of London" and "World War III." This is what I call "Slitheen Invasion." The model includes two Slitheen (based on the model originally done by BentheCreator), Margaret Blaine minifg, Joseph Green minifig and an extrapolator (pan-dimensional 'surfboard,' as it were). Photos and D/L link below. LXF File

Jason C. Hand replied to Jason C. Hand's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Here are some new photos of an update for this MOC The doors are based on ones built by Misa Nikolic (MOCPages) for his Classic Tardis Interior model, so please be sure to check that one out for some inspiration. 11/1/2014 UPDATE: This model and two others (based on TARDIS console rooms from 1970s & 80s Doctor Who now uploaded to my Bricksafe page! -
Hello again, LEGO fans! Sorry that I've been away for so long. I come again with another LDD model: a near-accurate replica of the old WFIL/WPVI-TV studio buillding, situate at 4100 City Avenue in Philadelphia, PA from 1964 to 2010. Locals in the city used to call the structure the "Concrete Donut" because of its round shape. Anyway, a little history: WPVI-TV signed on in 1947 as WFIL. It was not just a television station, but also two radio stations (WFIL-FM/AM). Originally broadcasting from the old Widener Building in downtown Philadelphia, the stations' owner, the now-defunct Triangle Publications, built the first broadcast center designed exclusively for television at 4645 Market Street in West Philadelphia and moved WFIL-TV therein. A popular dance show, American Bandstand, was produced at this very site! Then, in January 1964, WFIL-TV was moved again into what was called at the time "one of the most advanced broadcast centers in the nation": the very building on which this model is based. It was home to WFIL for 46 years! In the interim, WFIL became WPVI in April 1971. WPVI was known for producing popular local programs during much of the 50s and 60s, including the aforementioned American Bandstand, Starr Theater/Popeye Theater with Sally Starr, Captain Noah and His Magical Ark, Chief Halftown & Friends (named after the late Chief Traynor Ora Halftown of the Seneca Nation), The Larry Ferrari Show (a local musical show featuring the late Larry Ferrari, where he would play selections of spiritual hymns and pop music) and Al Alberts Showcase, a children's talent show hosted by Al Alberts, the lead singer of The Four Aces. WPVI is also known as the birthplace of Action News. Now, the model itself: The whole model is based on this photo--> http://hylitradio.co...logo/wpvi11.jpg The "satellite dish" on top was, if I am correct, a later addition. LXF here. Any comment/suggestions welcome. Hope you enjoy.

LDD 4.3.8

Thanks again for sharing, bbqqq! Updating now -
Hello again everyone. I am here again with another version of my "SEPTA Pressed Steel Subway Car." This time, it is the "M-1" car, so named because SEPTA used it as the very first subway car for its Market-Frankford Line, during the period when SEPTA was known as the Philadelphia Transportation Company (early 1900s). Furthermore, the MFL was split into two services at that time: one service for the Market Street Elevated (currently 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, PA to 46th Street in West Philadelphia), and another for the Frankford Avenue Elevated (currently Spring Garden Station to Frankford Transportation Center in Northeast Philadelphia). This car was mainly used for the Market Street Elevated. LXF

Two new MOCs for you guys, both of them TARDISes One is a "prototype TARDIS," an inactive one that hasn't had its chameleon circuit activated. The other is a "battle TARDIS," based on one seen in a Doctor Who comic, "The Stonebridge Horror." Please feel free to check them out on Flickr and of course, here are the LXFs for your enjoyment. See ya! Downloads Here

Here it is, gang: the second MOC that I said I would upload for you all...the 2009-13 Enterprise Bridge as seen in Star Trek and ST Into Darkness. Here is the reference photo: http://trekcore.com/...rams-bridge.jpg It took a good while to find and apply colors that were similar to a reference picture of the unreleased Enterprise Bridge playset from Playmates. But other than that, all of the different stations are in place and hopefully are familiar to any of you who have seen either of the J.J. Abrams movies. Please feel free to click on the photos above for more details about the model. Comments/suggestions greatly welcome. LXF

Jason C. Hand posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I've been waiting a while to share this all with you, but here it is now: my LDD rendition of the First Doctor's TARDIS Console Room! There ain't much to it, just the console, a grandfather clock, Roman chair and coat rack. Comments, gripes and suggestions are welcome As usual, here is the LXF file for all to use at their leisure. BTW, this only one of 2 MOC that I hope to share with you all today! Stay tuned later on for the second MOC -
