  1. Today, I went ahead and re-designed both the 1960s and 1970s-80s versions of my Lego TARDISes in order to make them less bulky on top. Both models are still minifigure-friendly (in scale, that is). Comments/suggestions/gripes welcomed.
  2. OK, when I get some time, I'll see if I can reconstruct the Technic legs, and then place it on the boards as a separate D/L from this last one. Keep a look for it in da mean OK, here is one more updated Lucrehulk Core Ship, re-done with Technic landing gear (as per request by Mr. Man). This model was based on a sphere designed by happyfrosh of Brickshelf. Still has the command towers and superlaser batteries, and 3 mini Separatist vehicles as before. Also, this may be the last update I do to it because I'm looking to do another project (what it is, i don't know yet), but there ya go. Download Lucrehulk CS v6.3
  3. Another new update to the Lucrehulk CS's leg assembly: Here's the .LXF file for those who wish to edit and study the model, or use it however you will
  4. Just did the same thing, and it worked. It must be LTG's servers
  5. The only thing I updated was the Preferences.ini file. Saw the following info in another psot and pasted it into the file: language=en ApplicationID=4ba67fcd-8187-4986-ac15-3c845c1db5b5 UseShadersInScene=no UseShadersInPalette=no CompatibilityModeLevel=100 UseRoundEdges=no Seems some of you other guys are having the same trouble, too
  6. Now I'm having trouble with LDD. It begins initializing and then freezes. I waited a few minutes for the program to continue startup and it didn't do anything.
  7. Anyone good at making ship legs of this sort or another? I'm now stuck with designing the Lucrehulk's legs. Any help/advice/small nudges will be greatly appreciated.
  8. Updated the landing so that it can more realistically hold the weight of the ship
  9. Hi DFOL, Yeah, the legs have been more troublesome to work out than the sphere. I was looking around the sphere to see where I can put 2 pins in the mix, so as to make the only movable joints at the top of the landing leg where it meets the ship and the feet. So, I am working on that again right now, as well as making the studs on top of the ship "disappear," if you know what I mean. Gonna be back later. Thank you again.
  10. OK, as promised here are preview shots of the Lucrehulk CS, version 6.2 :) Comments/feedback greatly welcomed.
  11. Thanks again for da feedback, guys. Anyways, got some much needed help from another AFOL on the art of LEGO sphere making (not as easy as it looks, even on LDD), and have been incorporating that info into this new build. Will have some new pics of the Lucrehulk Coreship v6.2 soon
  12. Here's a preview of version six of my Lucrehulk Core Ship: It has movie-styled military control and transmission towers, based on designs by Connor Lucero and Paul Yperman from MOCPages; twelve new turbolaser batteries; new Technic-built landing gear; and four copper thrusters underneath. BTW: This is only the last one, for now. Will take another crack at it at another time.
  13. 5/23 UPDATE: Possible "sixth" version of ship in the works right now. Will post pics when next able to.
  14. UPDATE: Added a new aerial piece to the taller tower, a couple of 1x1 ball plates to the shorter one and two new radar dishes/sensors. Other than that, I really don't dare do much more with it, lest I ruin it So, here is the .lxf file for download. Please feel free to use/edit/redesign as you see fit. Hope you enjoy.
  15. Fearsome-looking guy right there!
  16. I call the jet plane-looking thing a Stazer Fighter for Timelord troops to use during air missions. As for the car-looking vehicle, I haven't come up with a name for it yet Still thinking of something. Or, as a matter of fact, I just may take that out of there since I don't recall Timelords using a lot of wheeled vehicles or contraptions (save the Doctor). The mini-car vehicle included with this model has been removed and replaced with another one of the "Stazer" fighters. Reason? Except for the Doctor, I really don't recall the Timelords doing a lot of driving.
  17. Ok. I'ma give that a try.
  18. Thanks, friend, will do. Oh yeah, trying to build the different levels of the dome shape was a lil tedious. But I also have a completed dome with different-colored tiers. I may upload that sometime so that anybody that's looking for a big dome will be able to D/L it without having to go all over the Web.
  19. Thanks again for the feedback, JackJonespaw and Mr. Man
  20. Here is the .lxf model for the starship. Did a few minor changes to the front tip and rear of the ship.
  21. Here's a preview of my latest re-working of the Lucrehulk Core Ship. Gonna add a few more "details" to this, than upload the model for your enjoyment. Hope you all will enjoy!
