  1. I like the order you and DLuders have them in. Those are four very nice sets - enjoy!
  2. That's a very nice model. All technic studless construction too! It's very cleanly modeled and looks like it could be an official set. I see some 8053 influence.
  3. That's very interesting how they differ for use in other places. I would love for Lego to produce some more tractors for their Technic line, but more complex than what we have seen before. You guys make some nice cars over there too - that's all I will drive!
  4. Great pic! Yes, please post more when you can. I need more green bits now!
  5. Very nice truck and interesting building style. I like all of the details and functions as well as the color scheme. Nice work!
  6. I have bought from a lot of different people on Bricklink and have never had any problems whatsoever. That said, I do pay attention to their feedback when I'm considering something they have although I don't remember ever not buying from someone because of it. Your mileage may vary.
  7. That's a lot of parts! A model like that is certainly deserving of the pneumatic cylinder brackets. That looks like a fun build for sure and it's nice to know it functions well also. It certainly looks the part too.
  8. Me too - keep 'em coming! I love seeing some of the older sets that I have not yet had the chance to examine since coming back into the fold. That is a nice little Chopper. Interesting mechanism too.
  9. They really need to get that yellow one with the pneumatic cylinder brackets made! I could use a few more of those for less than $25 per!
  10. That's really nice for mostly system bricks. While not technically Technic, I do find the brackets to be quite useful from time to time.
  11. I can't wait to look inside! Looks like a necessity for any Technic builder.
  12. Nice! I just broke the seals on mine last night to build the A model. I might require another one of these at some point. I like it a lot so far - very nice design. Now back to the thread...
  13. Thanks for posting that! Nothing really jumps out right away except for the pneumatic cylinder brackets - those are getting pretty spendy lately. That thing is a parts beast! I see some new style triangular liftarms - are those needed for gear clearance or aesthetics? I think they look a little better.
  14. It looks amazing! I need to finish up a couple of projects and then I will build one. Thanks for all of the hard work that went into this. Not sure if I have enough gears to build it!
  15. That is not a very flattering image of the 9398 B model, at least from that angle. Everything else looks good, especially the 9396 but I'm disappointed they didn't make yellow panels for the side of it where the sticker transitions from red to yellow on a red panel.
  16. If you know you eventually want both, I would always go with the older set first especially if it is near the end of its life cycle like the 8043 is. You might even try to find a nice 8258 on the resale market if you think you might want that one, and before the price gets out of control.
  17. That looks great! I wouldn't mind building one of those as well at some point. Very nicely done! I saw Blakbird's render the other day and it has been stuck in my head ever since.
  18. Welcome to the forum! Glad you like that set. I don't own it but I'm working on a modernized studless version of it, complete with the blue air tank. It's a design that has been around on Brickshelf for a while but I have made some changes to it. I will post images of the completed model at the end of next week, most likely.
  19. I would love to see a flagship RC PF Back Hoe. The Fire Truck idea is a good one also. I was just looking at an 8289 from 2006 today and thought a new version could be nice.
  20. That's a beautiful truck. I love how it combines the best from both system and technic bits. Very nicely done and very impressive!
  21. More general, but mine would have to be the limited colors certain parts are available in and very limited quantities of others. That said, a suitable color replacement can usually be found in a neutral color.
  22. You make a great point about the articulated dump truck by Designer Han, but I think it looks great studless as well.
  23. Looks great! Pure Technic too with no unsightly system bricks. I like your panel placement and overall design. The color scheme looks good too - well done!
  24. I second the pneumatic cylinder brackets and yellow panels!
