I still think that the splitting of the movies from 2 to 3 impacted the lineup this year.

I'd like to see: 1) Sasquatch/Bigfoot 2) Ice Fisherman (Could maybe use Bofur's hat from the Hobbit) 3) Shepherd with hook (Could be female and be "Little Bo Peep" with lamb) 4) Golfer 5) Teppanyaki Chef 6) Entomologist with butterfly net and magnifying glass 7) Gardner with hand shovel 8) Casino Card dealer with visor

Well a big Dol Guldor battle set might be our best chance to get a Galadriel, since they already laid the groundwork in AUJ for her to come to Gandalf's aid when he needs it.

For Faramir, it would be cool to get an Osgiliath set. Then we could get a fell beast, Madril, Faramir, his Rangers, and even some Gondor Knights.

I remember in the DOS preview event, they showed Bard being chased through Lake Town by humans.

Ok, I nailed the Bard's boat and Lake Town set in one. :) Hopefully some of my other guesses will come to fruition.

My top wants for 2014 would be: -Witchking vs Eowyn set -Mumakil set -Some kind of Minas TIrith set -Golden Hall of Edoras -Some kind of Lothlorien set with Galadriel -Prologue battle pack There are MANY more I'd like but those are my top. Hopefully TLG will come through with some of them...

I forgot that the bear head is moveable piece, thus could be replaced with a new molded head while utilizing the rest of the existing body molds. I believe the UK release date for the Hobbit dvd is April 8th. An Extended edition has been confirmed, it should be released closer to the theatrical release of DOS.

I originally suspected that they had a new bear in the forrest police station because they were reusing the bear they made for the Hobbit line.

He has an actor and was shown in bear form in an early movie poster for AUJ. They also showed a quick bit on Beorn's house during the sneak peek.

There was a code in the dvd/blu ray that allowed you to access the live event yesterday and to be able to view the recorded version of the event starting today through sometime in May I think. The code can be used 3 times to get into the site. Anyone think they'll use the new bear mold from the Forrest Police station for Beorn or will they make a different/larger bear?

^ lol The joke they did with the Stephen Fry (Master of Lake Town) during the sneak peek was funny. Maybe they can include an orc or two shooting arrows at the boat from the shore.

I agree on the brown hair elven head piece, the elves in the polybag having hoods was a major bummer. Hopefully a possible set that involves the orcs fighting the elves will provide more. I guess the treasure room set would be limited on the minifigs that could be included, only Bilbo, unless they also added the secret back door section that they showed in the sneak peek. A Smaug attacking lake town set could be a great way to offer some LT buildings in something "action oriented".

So if they put out 6 set for DOS like they did for AUJ, so you think they'll carry forward the two "trilogy preview" sets and we'll only end up with 4 "new" sets? I'll be bummed if they do that. I can understand them wanting to release them again since their respective scenes will be in DOS, but not at the cost of two of the slots. They could just make them retailer exclusives so people can still get them but not flood the shelves. Based on the preview event, I'd guess we'll get (assuming 6 new sets) -Erebor treasure room with Smaug (Largest set) -Thranduil throne room, maybe just the front gate? -Bard's boat -mid sized set with Bard and a couple dwarves, this would also provide extra play value with continuing the story after you send out the dwarves in barrels from the Barrel Escape set. -Witchking Tomb -Gandalf, Radagast and whomever Gandalf is fighting in the original trailer -Bjorn's house scene -Bjorn and a dwarf or two not featured in another set. -Mirkwood Elf vs Orc pack -The footage showed quite a bit of fighting between elves and orcs in the woods. I'd LOVE a battle pack!! There could also be some sort of Lake Town set with the Master of Lake Town, that filming set looked cool and showed some sort of action sequence with Bard being pursued through some of the buildings -

After just watching the sneak peak of DOS, I want a WitchKing tomb set, it would be the best chance to get a Radagast minifig!

I picked up the Target Exclusive Lego Blu Ray pack this morning, I almost thought I had missed out on it since there weren't any in the movie area. So I decided to check the checkout endcaps as they usually put the new releases out there as well. Sure enough they had 8 of them on the Hobbit checkout endcap. Also, FYI, at least at my Target it rang up at $29.99 so they had to credit it back to $22.99.

My son keeps hoping that they'll surprise us with a LOTR/Hobbit Advent calendar, I tell him that it's highly unlikely.

Wow, the yacht is even more impressive than I had imagined. I agree that non-Friends lego collectors should be able to tone down the "friends" colors to have it fit into the City style. It's a shame the photographer didn't pan just a little more to the right to capture the high school and beach buggy. I wonder if the series 3 animals were also there?

Great find! My daughter has this set at the top of her "want" list, she is already saving for it. It's nice that there is finally another male in the Friends universe. I figured the boy would end up the same boy from the mini series but it appears not as they have different hair colors.
