  1. You could put them in a set called 'Vader's Bad Day at Work' . Ok, that wazn't very good.... Anyway, I think that maybe a new Imperial Guard or even a Sentinel is in order.
  2. He he he, Supertrooper...... Thats a good one lightningtiger! A good motivator song for the troopers I think...
  3. I thought this was pretty funny, but decide for yourself: If you don't get the inside joke I can explain it to you.
  4. This looks really good and funny! Great work and good luck to you! By the way, I think the Disco trooper is quite cool too.
  5. Im not sure, but if it was my choice, everyone who Ive said to should get one because theyre all amazing! And one to myself too, because its me.
  6. I think that so far we have a winner for '99-'04 and '04 onwards: 7159 Star Wars Bucket and 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Battle Thanks for all of your comments everyone!
  7. I think that Lego should be making more sets from Episode 2 for a start. Like 'the cannon that destroys the Trade Federation starship in the Battle of Geonosis'. Anyway, a nice Republic ship such as an Acclamator Class Assualt Frigate or an Arquitens Class Light Cruiser would go down well with me. Plus it would give Lego the opportunity to introduce Republic Navy Officers. And while they're at it, they can make a Phase 2 clone trooper battle pack with 2 clone troopers, a clone commander, an arc trooper, and a small command centre. This would just make 2013 for me.
  8. You sir, have won yourself a UCS R2-D2. Enjoy it Seriously, this is just outstanding! This must have taken ages to build and lots of pieces too! Good luck to you in the competition!
  9. He he he he..... Everyone DOES love a DJ with a gun.
  10. I see many topics asking what the 'most bestest set in, like, ever' is, but very few asking about the doom and gloom of the Lego Star Wars sets. In your own opinion (or as a 'fact'), what Star Wars set would you say is just awful. For me, it has to be the Tie Defender. I just dont like it. It looks as if someone has attached several knifes to a Tie fighter cockpit. It appears as though Lego made this set while extremely 'over the moon' and with whatever pieces they could find in their office. But you may think differently. If you like it so much, why dont you marry it?!? I'm kidding of course. Please tell me what you think is the worst Lego Star Wars set ever.
  11. This clears up the reason why my Jedi/Sith topic disappeared.......... Oooooo, spooky!
  12. The front could do with some covering but other than that, it looks good so far. Good job
  13. This looks like a very good idea! I'll support!
  14. I am now the proud owner of this set. Thanks for making my mind up!
  15. I thought that myself, but I still thought that overall, it looked quite good.
  16. I have to say, this MOC looks absolutely fantastic! I really hope that there will be more of this soon! I am not worthy to compete!
  17. I agree. Could use a bit of tidying up but looks really good already. Good job!
  18. I originally had the grey slopes in the lights place, but I ran out after trying to curve the ship a bit more.
  19. Jokes aside, this ship is my second (or third if you count my AWC entry) MOC and I think it's actually easily recognisable as a Naboo Ship. Anyway, here is the description I made for it (this is a fanon ship)..... Most widely used during the later days of the Galactic Republic, the Naboo Heavy Freight Carrier was one of many Naboo assigned ships that served the Royal Family of Naboo; the freight carrier being the largest and heaviest of them all. Lightly armed, the carrier had to be escorted by three or four Naboo starfighters when outwith the Naboo system, but only one when in-system. The ship came equipped with an unusually powerful hyperdrive, meaning it could travel faster than many of it's counterparts, or if need be, pirates. The ship was de-commisioned after only three years of service due to it's near uselessness in the long term; more of the Royal Family's ships were being outfitted with more efficient storage at it's time of decommisioning. It was used again shortly after Order 66 to transport three Jedi that were on Naboo at the time of it's release; they were all killed by Republic Forces. And now, the pictures...... I really don't seem to do well with engines! I've tryed putting an extra layer on the ship to try and balance the engine part, but the ship looks like it's been eating too many snausages . By the way, I call sausages snausages. What do you think? Tell me in the comments.
  20. Oh my god! You just got a second UCS R2-R2! Seriously though, this is really good! Well done! Good luck to you in the competition!
  21. Thanks for all of the positive comments guys! I appreciate it
  22. Wow. I never realised how many people had murderous wives! But seriously, thanks for all of your replies, guys! I'm amazed that so many people have answered my question and also the amount of people with very large collections.... You guys all need to stop and give me time to catch up!
  23. Very nice (and humorous) idea you have there! Good luck!
  24. Yes, this is only a fanon ship, and therefore this is the only one of it's kind. It is loosely based on both the Republic era cruisers and Empire Star Destoyers. Think of it as a hybrid.
  25. I have never been a person for MOC's and I've spent £500 on LSW over the years; blindly following the orders given by the instructions of the sets I buy. But recently, I thought to myself, "Hey, I should stop taking orders from a piece of paper!" and so this was created. Judge the bad building techniques if you want, but any MOCer should know how hard your first MOC is, especially with limited pieces. So here goes..... The Intimidator Class Assault Cruiser was used widely by the Galactic Republic during the end of the Clone Wars as a battlecruiser escort and planetry defense ship. After the Rise of the Empire, it was used for a short time as a Heavy Frigate, accompanying the likes of the Imperial-Class Star Destroyer. Armed with merely 3 heavy turbolaser batteries and ten medium laser batteries which were concealed while away from battle, this ship was more a starfighter carrier than full-on warship, and due to the small amount of weaponry and under-whelming size (despite the name) was slightly more maneuverable than it's larger cousin, the Venator Class Battle Cruiser. The crew compliment was extremely high for a ship of it's size carrying more than 10,000 troops as well as 2,000 crew, and the ship was noted as being a 'living nightmare for claustrophobics'. The cruiser carried many varieties of starfighters and land vehicles alike, including 20 AT-TEs and 275 AT-RTs. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, the ship was used by the New Republic as a peace-keeping diplomatic escort and was also outfitted for planetary bombing by pirates who were able to obtain 3 of the cruisers. All 3 were destroyed in 16 ABY. Notable people who used the Intimidator Class included Jedi General Aayla Secura as her Capital Ship following the destruction of both of her Venators, and Jedi Master Yoda. The most well-known ship of this class was the Escalor, which famously managed to destroy four Separatist heavy cruisers without any reinforcements. The ship was finally de-commisioned from military and planetary use in 39 ABY after the ships simultaneously suffered a catastrophic generator failure, however four were kept in service for humanitarian use. And now on to the pictures: Note the overhang of the main engine at the back of the ship. Thanks for looking and please feel free to leave any comments you may have on this creation.
