  1. You are making really good progress! Keep it up!
  2. That is pretty awesome! Great work!
  3. Yep, agreed. I need to get some of those :)
  4. Hi all! I am waiting for some bricks to arrive, but just couldn't sit idle. I had to build something. I decided to try a little water scene with what bricks I had left. My next project is to build a diorama for the Black Widow Inn and the Stables and I want a river and maybe a small lake on that. So this is just a little practice vignette. Hope you like it though.
  5. I don't know if this was ever mentioned here or somewhere else or if it would qualify as an action theme, but I would love to see the Cthulhu mythos (Ia! Ia! Cthulhu fhtagn!) in LEGO. I would spend my savings on that...
  6. Really great house! I love the front view of the ground floor. That's a 10/10. However I don't like the red roofing. I think this red doesn1t look good here.
  7. Seems like we are the most active guild!
  8. Ahh! Thanks Legonardo! Yeah, that part of our border needs to get secured :)
  9. Nice build! As from what I see on the Avalonian map your land Glevum is in the middle of Avalonia, nowhere near the midgardian border. Am I missing something? Can you provide me some "story" or a link to it if I missed it? Thanks!
  10. Same here. I hate using colors I know that they won't fit the outside. Even though nobody will see them I will know they are there...
  11. Awesome entry! Very well done! I wish you good luck for the challenge!
  12. Excellent work! These are all really very impressive!
  13. Very nice build! Cool details!
  14. Amazing Fort! People will think twice before attacking it! I really love its geometry!
  15. Cool idea, nice build and great interior! You sir are doing it right!
  16. Use it to build a muppet show MOC! That would be something new, haven't seen anything like that before.
  17. I must honestly say that I am sure that I will not participate in this challenge. I don't own any bricks to build an elemental at the level I want to build and I neither have the time nor the money to stock up on those needed bricks right now. However I am really looking forward to see some mini challenges!
  18. Well I bought one MMV as well and just used it for MOCing. For my first 2 MOC's I used like 80% of it!!! And this comes at a price that even the cheapest bricklink shop can't top! If I had the spare money I would buy some more. Haunted House could be as awesome considering the parts, but it is ridiculously more expensive compared to MMV.
  19. Thanks! There is nothing special at all about the inside. There are "empty" support walls made of random bricks and that's it. I just made the roof modular, so that I can get those horses out again. Oh, and it was good practice of course. I think I will make use of this roof technique more often.
  20. Wow! Awesome facade! And I really love the color scheme as well!
  21. Exactly! Elevation does play a big role in my plans. My problem is that since I don't tear apart my MOC's (obviously, since they will be on my layout) I need to buy bricks all the time and there is of course a financial cap. Therefore I plan with approximately 3-4 years to finish entire Woodward (yep that will be the layout)...
  22. Thanks Z! I am familiar with maydayartist's work. Actually he was one of the reasons why I started building LEGO! He and DC. I totally get what you say regarding the decorated wall. I personally like the Black Widow Inn's wall design more than this one, but you know I am at the very start of my LEGO career. I've started building last year in November-December, so I am in this for only half a year. I did the walls this way because I wanted to experiment. I pretty much came to the same conclusion that I should keep it a little more "clean" in my next builds. So far I have experimented with this wall technique. My MOC's have been very strict in shape so far. For my next buildings I want to experiment more with different forms: curved walls, other than 90° angles, asymmetric designs, etc. There is still a long road to go and much to learn.
  23. @Legonardo: awesome job man! Could you please add a little river or stream running from Woodward's forest down to the river? I would appreciate this a lot!!!
  24. Yes I keep my building intact. I want to build something like DC's Durnovaria, but a larger. You don't want to know how much this costs, belive me.
