  1. The issue isn't the inability to rotate the parts (easily solved through your method or pulling the bottom pin out and rotating the bottom beam in first), but the 3M Pin with Cross colliding at the top. At least as I understand it. Edit: Haha, what is going on here? Superkalle, did you delete your post? If so, please delete this one as well.

  3. The Classic Space hoses are correct. And nice work on the canopy extender, I came up with something a bit different: LXF File. I've already included it in the wanted parts post.

  5. I've run into this before and there is a hilariously complicated workaround to get it to not collide. Unfortunately, I have no idea how I did it. Still no idea how I did it, but here is the fixed model. Definitely a bug. This is also definitely a bug. If you use a jumper plate to offset the 61678, they won't collide. It is only when the sides are aligned that the collision occurs. I have no idea on this one. I'd be willing to bet it is an LDD issue though.
  6. If you want to add it to the bottom of the chassis, rotate the camera so that you are looking at the model from underneath. If you want it on the top, rotate to look at the top. Also, I can't really tell, but it looks like your chassis might not be wide enough. The better option is to build the Technic bricks and floor first, then place the axles and tires.
  7. It's a well known problem, as well as being an "illegal" build. Take a look at this thread. As far as building the Tantive, take a look at what I came up with: LXF File.

  12. Anything over a few thousand pieces seems to crash for me at random when loading. Sometimes it will, sometimes it wont. And this is on a i5-2500k desktop with 2 Nvidia GTX 460s in SLI. It could also be because I am forcing FXAA antialiasing though. Or the SLI. The joys of computing. My only concern with the Macbook models listed is how well the Intel graphics hardware compares to either ATI or Nvidia. But I don't know nearly enough to actually comment on that.
  13. Errors: Missing Moveable Drawbridge [Version II] and Building Crane [Version III] I'll stick to Creator Minis.
  14. Once I start running up against missing parts that just cant be replaced with something similar in LDD I will make the effort to learn the 4+ programs that LDraw/MLCad/LDView/POVRay/etc... seems to be. Either way, free digital LEGO. Can't beat that!
  15. Is that screenshot straight out of LDraw/MLCad? It looks almost identical to LDD's output, except the transparent elements are so much more vivid and saturated than LDD. Even with stacking the .png four times before resizing, this is the best I can manage with LDD.
  16. It's pretty much every piece I've found missing while cranking out the old sets, as well as a few more recent ones. Even though a lot of these haven't been used in years, wishlists are for wishing. I'm rather encouraged by the addition of the classic space cockpit, so here's hoping. It actually still needs a few updates and tweaks. After 40+ parts I was brain numb. I won't let them pile up from now on.

  20. Delete the pedestal pieces. Place a 1x4 Plate w. 2 Knobs underneath the cart. To move the cart forwards and backwards, use the Connected Selection Tool on the cart, then group it. Then place a 1x1 Flat Tile somewhere nearby on the baseplate. Select the grouped cart and the 1x1 at the same time (CTRL-click), then move the 1x1 to move the cart.
  21. Attach a 4274 Peg w. Knob onto either end of the Differential, then attach a 6541 Technic Brick 1x1 to the peg, then remove the Peg w. Knob and slide the axle through the 1x1. Many times when parts don't want to work they can be tricked into doing what you want.
  22. This is the easiest option I have found. I use it to place 8x16 flats under models that have tires at different heights and need one end rotated downward. It makes it super easy to get all the tires on the same level.
  23. Loose Technic beams and pins.
  24. I received confirmation from @Kadabra, who reviewed Cole's Tread Assault, that the wings are indeed all in click at 90 and 67.5 degrees when folded tight to the vehicle. I also took a look at and they do appear to all go in click. There is quite a lot of play in all the Technic beams and pins, which LDD obviously can't replicate, so that clears up the mystery.Next time I'll look before I leap and save everyone some confusion.
  25. The 61184 3 M.Arch w.Knob and Shaft ΓΈ3.2 is kept compressed by the 32187 Middle Ring when assembled as shown in step 17 on page 34. It's not obvious from the instructions, but if you try it with the actual parts, it's readily apparent. Image
