Sorry, but judging from these (preliminary, I know) pics, they really don't interest me. Besides, another theme would kill my wallet. I'll see how this new line turns out.

I have to say I have never seen a MOC based off of a ride, but this is great! I imagine that machinery on the roof is the cart track? I like how you made all of that structure like wood. Good work!

Wow, outstanding work, SlyOwl! Poor stranded islander's dinner has scuttled away! Nice way of making the crabs, by the way. The monster is cool too, and very nice SNOT techniques. Great MOC!!

Allow me to quote myself for this: It seems a lot of people like this idea of Order 66 packs! However, CloneMe, while you prefer the larger sets, I would much prefer small, $10 sets, since they are collectible (or even modular!), with the exception being Plo Koon's. In my opinion, one or two clones (of the appropriate regiment) with a Jedi and some scenery/ vehicle would be spectacular, and I would buy multiples. Of course, we all have our opinions, and I hope that TLG makes these in a good way.

I apologize, I guess I was being lazy, I found it on the first try this time. ( on my part.)

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, althought I didn't find any on BS or Perron.

Aw, what a shame... Good thibg I have the Knight Bus, that's basically all purple. I hope they don't discontinue other great colors like lime green or orange.

Thanks a lot, ~VBBN~! You don't mind if I add on to it, do you?

I've watched at least one movie with each Bond actor, besides the guy from "Her Majesty's Secret Service. You Only Live Twice was one of the Connery ones that I've seen.
-
I've always wondered about that, very interesting!

I agree, option B. I think I can handle this alone, though, Adam.

As they always say in product exhibitions, "Pictures for the men, words for the women" . But really, I think the new version is better, simply because you can pick out what reviews you want to see quick and easy. As long as the pics are thumbnails, it's all good.

Wow, all of those detailed buildings stacked on top of each other are great! Reminds me a bit of New York. I can see a Fabuland figure in there... also, I don't really think this is a Castle, rather a modular MOC like Market Street or Green Grocer, under the "Town" category, although it does have some Castle-like architecture.

As I said before, 640x480/ VGA size. The setting should be on your camera.

Thank you, Darth Legios! I was looking for this earlier. There are a lot of Lego set opportunities that I can see, such as the Y-Wing (a rumored summer set), the Naboo luxury cruiser, and other such things. I also spotted some assassin droids in there, so I think getting that battle pack has a good chance. By the way, Plo Koon sounds so wrong! Wouldn't it be a mechanical voice? Anyways, I also saw Luminara Unduli, I hope we get a set in 2009 with her in it (non-LUL, of course). I also hope that besides the two close-to confirmed battle packs, we get Hoth and Endor ones. Here are my (re-newed, sorta) opinions on the January sets: Clone Battle Pack: Looks good, but the AT-RT is not the vehicle I would have chosen, but meh, good for getting those new clones. I just wish TLG would have kept the old Phase 1 helmets. Assassin Droids Battle Pack: I never got IG-88, so this is great! I always liked the design of the Assassin droids, and speeder is okay. Hyena Droid: It's okay, just a double Vulture Droid to me. The space battle droids are okay, green marines would have been better. AAT: I was really hoping for the tan version, but oh well. Yoda doesn't look CW-ified to me, but then again, they are prelim. Republic Shuttle: I wonder why the Republic has these and the Gunships. I'll get it for a complete collection and Mace. Darth Vader's TIE: Not something I would get, but good for OT fans.

6205: V-Wing Fighter Number of Pieces: 118 Number of Minifigs: 1 Price: 9.99 USD/ 13.99 EUR/ 8.99 GBP Theme: Star Wars/ Episode III Year Released: 2006 Brickset Folder Bricklink Catalog Welcome to this review of the V-Wing Fighter. This will be my eighth review on the boards. Strangely enough, there was another set called the V-Wing Fighter that came out in 1997 for the Space theme. Note that I am missing several small pieces to this set, but they are mostly insignificant to the overall look. The Box This is the standard box type for all 2005-2006 Star Wars sets. I can't say that I like it as much as the 2007 or 2008 box types, but it'll do. It features a profile view of Darth Vader and silver text. Overview This is the whole set. This ship is meant to protect the Chancellor at all costs. They are usually found in groups of three or four. Front This ship is very sleek, and you'll notice that it's colors are dark red, light bley, and dark bley with a touch of black. It starts at the nose very narrow, but as the body progresses to the back, it gets wider, like a "V" (hence the name). Back Here is a view of the rear. Note the trans-neon green discs used to represent the boosters. Also notice the dark red R4 astro droid and the hinges used as aromor. Flight All four wings (two on each side) can open up for flight/ attack mode. They can open even farther then the pic shows, but it's not an intended function. The wings a great, but it's a real pain to position them correctly, and the bottom wings close when you set the ship down. Tail fins This is what the tail fins look like on each side, with two flaps attached to the top and bottom. If you look closely, the tail fins and wings look a little bit like a mini ship themselves, maybe controlled by remote. No, this is not an intended function, either. Guns, side The guns are very simple but very clever, using a double Technic hole piece, two black bars, and two Technic pins. Also note the landing gear. Minifig Finally, here is the minifig: a clone pilot. It has light blue arms and legs, white hands, a helmet with black markings and Republic insignia on it, and a double-sided torso. The front of the torso is great, featuring shoulder straps, armor plating, and a life support system. While this minifig is not altogether accurate to the movie, it has still been one of my favorite Star Wars figs. Back The back of the fig that can double as the front of clone marines. This side features shoulder straps and armor plating. Cockpit Lastly, here is the pilot seated in the cockpit. He fits perfectly, although it is not air-tight. We wouldn't want the poor guy to suffocate, now would we? That wraps up the review, here is the FINAL VERDICT: Build: 8/10, a nice, easy, build, and the last of the small SW ships ($10 or less). Playability: 6/10, pretty fun to swoosh around, but that's about it. Could use a vulture droid, but that would take away the 'small' factor. Swooshability: 10/10, very fun and easy to swoosh around endlessly, without fear of it breaking. Minifigs: 9/10, there really is no need to have more, although a Palpy fig would be outstanding. The pilot is a great figure though. Design: 9/10, extremely accurate to the movie, but the cockpit is not airtight. Price: 10/10, you couldn't ask for a better deal! Overall Score: 8.6, an excellent set. Unfortunately, this is the last of the small SW ships currently. The fig is great, and the sleek design is accurate. That just about sums it all up, feel free to leave your comments!

Like Staudie said, it's a good start. Ani looks like he's dead though, maybe you should have him running away. Also, do you have the Republic Cruiser? I would be better if Qui-Goon was flesh, or Ani was yellow. Maybe you could also make a mini moisture machine and put it on, like it's in the distance.

The three most memorable moments in a video game for you
JimBee replied to AgentRick's topic in Culture & Multimedia
1. Receiving my N64 and Super Mario 64. 2. Playing the original Super Smash Bros. with my friends in 1999. 3. Playing Guitar Hero with a family of 9 kids that are close to me. I also enjoyed the two-and-a half years waiting for Brawl to come out. -
Moonraker, one of the best Bond films I have ever seen, next to Octopussy. I actually rented 4 Bond films at the same time: A View to a Kill, You Only Live Twice, The Man with the Golden Gun, and Moonraker. TMWTGG was terrible, IMO.

Awesome work, Faramir! I like the bridge the best. The treasure cart is good, but anyone can just snatch it without a lock or lid. The balista works? Great work, keep it up!

Sorry, it's already been posted several times.

It was just the way I used to hold Yoda and the bolt in place. Blue bolts!?! D'oh!

I would use some hardcover books, and cover them with your color choice of cloth. You could also build stands with Lego bricks.

This is a little vig I made from Revenge of the Sith, after seeing it again. I thought Yoda throwing his lightsaber into a clone would be awesome if I made it into Lego. I also incorporated a lightsaber blocking a shot, which I have seen being used recently in Lego. So, without further ado, here it is: Obi-Wan Kenobi is blocking a shot from a clone. I attached the laser bolt to the gun using a bit of clay. The red hands on the blade are supposed to represent the shot bouncing off. Yoda is jumping on the Clone which he threw his lighsaber into. I particularly like this shot. Closeup of stabbed clone. And finally, a sky view. Your comments are welcome.
