ADHO15 replied to Calabar's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
All of my Super Heroes sets have been upgraded to LDD 4.3.6 (yesterday's update in fact, in the case of those sets with Iron Man)! How do we like the new decorations? -

I too was quite surprised to see the game end so soon, but we obviously did a good job, Townies! Okay, maybe not me, but I tried to stay active at least. My role... just plain old vanilla again: Not as exciting as I first thought. Come on! It's only four letters! I really wasn't 'following you' there; we just happened to share similar opinions. I meant everything I said at that point and genuinely felt more confident voting for the person I found more suspicious. I wasn't defending Peanuts, or being awkward and anti-Town, just going with who I thought was more guilty. In the end, the better thing happened and Peanuts was lynched. Apologies to def if I got overly angry or insulting there, but I'm sure you're used to it. Bob, I did enjoy playing this game for the most part, so thank you for having me. You were a good host, and always very punctual. However, I agree with def: you intefered way too much and it was easy to take what you said as back up for someone's claim. That is, when you weren't outright dismissing number theories. And hooray! I could finally be seen in one of the start-of-day pics! Oh, and I think making everyone look so similar made things a bit more difficult to remember at the start of the game. I could be wrong, but that's the impression I got, and it may have led to the quicker-than-usual deterioration of all theming and using people's character names. Such a thing isn't really important I guess, but it makes the game more enjoyable, in my opinion.

Hi. Welcome to EB. Thanks for the comment, but I'd avoid quoting whole posts like that in the future, especially one so long.
-
I guess that confirms that Phil does in fact speak for the investigator and that neither is lying. That somewhat strengthens my faith in the vote for Betty.
-
And yet you voted for Bristol yesterday. Any reason why we should trust you to speak for the investigator, Phil?
-
In a situation like this with so many different factions, excluding Thief (which you're obviously going to do) doesn't narrow it down a lot. It's definitely not the same as claiming to be Town. And it hardly took all your effort to say 'I don't know' and repeat everyone else's theories.
-
Notice Betty doesn't even claim to be or try to confirm herself as Town. I know there isn't much for her to defend against, but I would think most of us would at least manage to slip that in. None of it is much to go on, but I can't really think of a good reason why an Innocent would give that result and so; neutral, scum or whatever; I doubt we'd lose much from lynching her. Unvote: Michael (badboytje88) Vote: Betty (Ferrik)
-
In that case... Vote: Michael (badboytje88) He's a self-confessed Scum and therefore seems to be prime suspect at this point in time. Obviously there's still a lot of time left in the day for something better to come up, but there's no harm in putting a vote down now... though maybe there will be given his welcoming attitude to being lynched.
-
Stalk much? I actually have important work to do, and since neither Betty has stepped up to explain the investigation result on her, nor has said result been confirmed word for word, I'd rather get on with that and keep checking in, waiting for one of those two things to happen, than post another generic comment. Is that alright with you? Do I need your permission to follow what's going on? Or are you just trying overly hard to look like you're doing something in the meantime?
-
Oh, more of your pathetic sarcasm! You said they were Scum; I'm voting for Scum. That's what the Town do. Mafia 101! Of course it advances the Town. If Holly were to be lynched and found Scum, we can lynch Michael tomorrow and get another Scum! Yay! Whereas if Bristol is Scum... we have a 'verified day investigator', and we have to hope they get lucky again tomorrow. So my idea clearly advances the Town more than yours. Well you seem to be listening. If only you'd leave me alone to talk to myself in peace!
-
Don't be ridiculous! It's only about being Barbara's pet sheep and blindly following her in what ever she says and does. Jeez, Babs! What a broken record! You have your opinions, we have ours. Just shut up and accept it!
-
I repeat:
-
Already explained why that phrase is utter BS. Evidently you won't. So I'm simply opposing the concensus for the hell of it? Holly and Michael have done nothing today to arouse suspicion? And I haven't voiced these ideas since the start? This is the definition of 'free-thinking'! I don't see why not. A Scum member was killed last night. I don't see why it couldn't happen again tonight. We don't, but see my point above. Obviously, because Bristol is going to be lynched today. How lovely of you. It's so hard to see where they'd get that idea when you're acting oh so humble. You're welcome! I'm doing all I can, and you'd have to anyway!
-
Then let said mighty day investigator come forth and tell me themself! No, of course they won't, so I have to rely on your word that there is a day investigator and that their result. Like I said, Bristol's death will confirm your story, whether she is lynched today or killed tonight. I have nothing against either one at this point. My actions aren't anti-Town; they're anti-Scum, if we're correct, and anti-your plan. You're neutral with your own agenda, and anyone believing that you have the Town's best interests at heart is kidding themselves. I'm not saying you're not trying to help, but will do so only when it fits into your own plan to win. So I can't be a sheep, and I can't have my own independent ideas? Make your twisted mind up! The 'action Townies' don't know what I am, so if they want to be sure of my affiliation, they'll have to investigate me no matter what. That doesn't make sense. So long as one of them is lynched today, and the other killed tonight, we'll get both results together in the morning. Either way, my vote doesn't matter anymore! See my response above to that. How could you be totally wrong? A second ago you were 100% certain that lynching Bristol is the right think to do and will get us another Scum!
-
Well, yes. You aren't suspicious of yourself, whereas I am suspicious of you. I quoted you earlier as saying that Holly was part of a second, recruiting Scum team. This makes her against 'the scum' yes, but also makes her part of it, which isn't a lot better. I'd rather vote for Holly because she directly seems Scummy to me, you get some kind of Scum result off her, and she has a potentially dangerous role. Bristol, on the other hand, only has your word going against her. Sure she could be a Scum killer, but Holly seems more of a sure bet to me. If Holly ended up being lynched, I would hope that if we do still have a vigilante or reasonable SK, that they would have the sense to kill Bristol tonight to test your claims. Lynch Holly/kill Bristol or lynch Bristol/kill Holly... the end result is the same. I'm just getting there by the method I feel more comfortable with. In any case, Bristol has reached enough votes to lynch, which I'm fine with, and my vote is on my biggest suspect, which I'm happy about, so it's win-win for me. So... have you won or not? You really need to get your story straight regarding this supposed win condition of yours. So if you don't believe Michael, you don't believe Holly, right? They're in the same boat, and yet Holly has the potential to be more dangerous. Therefore I don't see why you would then vote for Michael.
-
How convenient for you to blame someone else. This is not the case, however... So you were both Town at the start, and you knew Michael was Town, but he didn't know you were Town? That sounds more like a conversion to me. Especially when it's backed up by... and I'm not sure how exactly she knows this, but if Michael and Holly are Scum, not Neutral, that only strengthens my want to vote them off. Since we still have plenty of time left, I shall: Unvote: Bristol (Peanuts) Vote: Holly (Nightshroud99) If Holly is the converter, she is a better target than Michael, and all those still targetting Michael would do better to vote for Holly also. This is what all your 'assistance' comes down to: your own selfish desire to win. You're a smart and influential player and I still can't work out if you really are helping us or not. All I have is the suspicion of a dead but confirmed Innocent and the knowledge that you will manipulate the rest of us to make sure that you complete your objective, which I don't blame you for doing, but it limits the trust I can place in you. I think he was implying that Barbara is Scum, not Neutral; not mistaking Neutral for Scum. Posts like that are unnecessary. If you want to know if that's a rule, look first, and then post everything you want to say. Lots of you seem incapable of collecting your thoughts and instead just post some short, mindless comment whenever you feel like it and the important stuff gets lost!
-
Well we don't know who the 'investigator' is, so not that. Obviously not lynch Bristol because the condition is that Bristol was lynched and turned up Innocent. So Holly or Michael would be the best bet, provided neither of them is killed in the night (here's hoping, since we have nothing to lose from that). I don't know why you call him def and the others by their in-game names. The fact that few people even try to use character names makes this whole ordeal a lot more confusing and dull. Because, as you know, a day without a lynch is a free night for Scum to potentially hurt the Town. The lynch is the strongest weapon the Town has, blah blah. I don't think Bristol is Town. I don't get much of a feeling from Bristol, so I don't know what she is. But I do get far more of a Scummy reading on Michael and Holly, so I obviously suspect them more, hence my original vote. There are so many inconsistencies between them and between what they themselves have said on different occasions. This could be down to incompetence, or could be because they're lying and cannot get their stories straight. Thomas summed it up well. Either way, I want to see these stories checked out, and so someone has to be lynched. The safer choice is obviously Michael, but I'd rather vote for Bristol and get a lynch and a result than vote for Michael and nothing happen. @Mary: Explain why! Give reasons! You see how your posts are much shorter than most of the rest? That's not a good thing.
-
Hmm I'm not at all confident or happy about doing this, but we really need a lynch today, and I don't see anything cropping up that will take the suspicion back off Bristol, so I shall: Unvote: Michael (badboytje88) Vote: Bristol (Peanuts) Tomorrow's actions are obvious if Bristol turns up town.
-
And in addition to what I said before... I asked what would be the harm in lynching you, Holly and Michael, if you've already obtained the diamond and fulfilled your win condition. Now you say that you need to keep hold of the diamond for the remainder of the game to win, and the best way to that is to tell everyone that you have it? Surely Barbara will know to take it from you tonight to fulfil her win condition?

And yet your message to Stacy reads perfectly well and is so nicely laid out... My thoughts exactly, which leads me to believe that either one or both of those PMs were faked, because they certainly weren't written by the same people. Mary's looks as though it was written by Mary, and Stacy's by Stacy, so I would not be surprised if Holly and Michael were in fact Scum, along with Mary and Stacy. Maybe I'm getting overly paranoid, but I do not believe any of those messages as 'evidence'.
