  1. Fantastic MOC my fellow Egyptology Enthusiast, but,This is not the great Pyramid of Cheops, but Cheops' successor's, Chefren (Khafre), and the Sphinx is a part of Chefren's Burial Complex, not Cheops'. Also, and this is just my Nitpicking, the Moc is still great, but the scene of Sphinx inauguration, the Pyramid should still have it's white outer shell, and a golden tip, since it was just Built, and the Caravan scene should depict the Pyramid and the sphinx nearly completely buried in sand. Also Also, the IRL Sphinx of Giza has a votive granite stele placed there by Thotmes IV, which is absent from your depiction of the Monument. Also also also, I Think you should also make the scene depicting Napoleon Bonaparte's famous speech to his soldiers in front of the Pyramid, just before battle during his 1799 campaign, ratther than the magical sky people scene. But, these are just suggestions, Historical Innacuracies or not, I still like it. Oh, Also also also also, the latest two scenes should feature the Sphinx without it's nose and beard.
  2. I absolutely LOVE the revamped Mardi Gras King...
  3. Are these going to be classic town minifigs only? Or will you branch off? I'd love to see the Yellow Castle prince, the Classic, or Futuron spacemen, or Governor Broadside... ;)
  4. Awesome Yooha! can't wait!
  5. See? Then you know my pain, and the pain of all those who's creations ae ignored BECAUSE THEY ARE DIGITAL. It's perplexing, why is it so? The real brick MOCs are dominant, after all, Lego are plastic bricks in the first place. Are LDD MOCs too niche for mainstream Lego fans then? Is there a way to popularize them, so the digital MOCs would be on equal rights?
  6. Thanks @Murdoch17, I feel much better.
  7. I know about bluerender, but I made 12 pictures, and rendering them all would be time consuming. Besides, If it's about presentation, then you could as well say it in my MOC's thread, instead telling me this here. I am open for constructive criticism, but if there's none of it, if my work is ignored, than this is not good. Just like any other builder, I need feedback, I'm not sharing my MOC's so they be ignored. But I apologize, we are going offtopic here.
  8. Is it just me, or in Lego communities in general, people who build digital MOCs, are discriminated? By that, I mean, In most contests digital builds are not allowed, and LDD MOC's are largely ignored, while those built with real bricks are getting attention and are praised by many? I understand that software allows some things that real bricks can't do, like making a part in any colour, and that the contest needs to be fair to all the participants. But I can't understand why no one cares about LDD MOCs, it really irks me. Yesterday, I posted an LDD MOC, and no one even cared to view the topic. NO ONE. An LDD MOC was, as far as I know, never featured on the Eurobricks frontpage. Those who have lots of bricks and whole photo studios and whole rooms dedicated for storing Lego bricks, sets and MOCs, do not realize that some people build in LDD out of necessity, that they live in small appartments with no space to display huge dioramas, or they can't afford to buy new Lego sets, not to mention, that in some countries, like Poland (where I live) there are no Lego Brand Stores, and the luxury of Pick-a-Brick is unavaible to them. In some ways, us, LDD builders are treated like plebes. The IRL builders have an unfair advantage over us, because, paradoxally, when it takes more effort, time and money to build their MOCs, they also gain more recognition and respect, while the LDD users are treated like amateurs and "casual buiders", just because they are not building in real bricks. I'm not writing this to antagonize anyone, I'm just trying to analize this problem, and raise awareness of it. Maybe it's just my impression, maybe in fact those who build in LDD aren't discriminated, maybe it is just me who is ignored because my LDD MOCs are rubbish and no one cares about them... Who knows, but let's get one thing straight: The digital builders are also passionate fans of Lego, and their work also deserves appreciation. And what are your thoughts? Please, do not ignore this thread, it is very important to know your opinion.
  9. Um, Hello? Anybody here? I have shared a moc, And I would love, LOVE, to hear your opinions on it... *sigh* Why does nobody like me? I'm sorry, that I'm building in LDD, but I don't have the money to buy more sets, or space to build large dioramas, or whole cities...
  10. Greetings and Salutations Eurobrickers, It's been a while, so I decided to show you one of my SP IV projects. As you may recall, Inspired by @Yooha, and unfortunately banned @VaderFan2187 (Godspeed bro ) I made a modular Space Police ship, which was my attempt at bringing back this classic theme. As I expand on the idea, I made a proper base of operations for Space cops. In the XYZ Quadrant of the galaxy, a medium sized planetoid SPIV-0637 is the home of the Space Police headquarters for the area, and high level security jail for Blacktron Pirates: Space Police Headquarters by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr The top floor under the duracrystaline dome houses the command center, which also acts as an interogation room, and commander's bureau. On his massive, multiscreen computer, he is monitoring everything, and there's also an distress holocomunicator, where the good citizens of Classic Space Federation are daily reporting numerous crimes by Blacktron, Spyrius, and other nefarious gangs and organizations. Space Police Headquarters2 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr The ground floor is the Garage and workshop, where all the vehicles, weapons and gadgets are being fixed It also has a safe with confiscated goods, guarded by Security Droid. Space Police Headquarters3 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Let's now visit the arrest section of the outpost, shall we? But first, we have to pass the security control. The barrier will only get raised if we show the guard our documents, and he is the only one who knows the code to open it. The code is generated randomly after each visit: Space Police Headquarters4 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr In the future, there will be no traditional jail cells. Instead, the convicted criminals are held in biological stasis, they don't need to sleep, the also don't eat, all the needed nutrients are injected right into their bloodstream. The Convict Contamination Capsules also monitor their vital functions, and individually adjust temperature, humidity and athmospheric pressure, to create an optimal enviroment for any alien species. plus due to CCC's modular nature, they can be stacked up almost indeffinietly: Space Police Headquarters6 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Of Course, the system isn't perfect, and due to some malfunctions some prisoners wake up from stasis, attempting to escape the facility. That's why there's a watch tower looming over the cellblock, with an enforcer always ready to fire a freezeray, should one of convicted try to escape. Luckilly jailbreaks happen on SPIV-0637 very rarely. Space Police Headquarters5 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr The second wing of the base houses the landing platform for some smaller spacecrafts, a quick Fighter is perched there and standing by for new instructions. You might recognize it as Labryss Class Interceptor's cockpit, since all the vehicles os SP4 use the Unitron technology of interchangeable cockpits. Space Police Headquarters10 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Meanwhile, underneath the platform, the SP4 RTAT (Rough Terrain Armored Transporter) has arrived with a new Blacktron convict: Space Police Headquarters8 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Beware though, a sneaky Blacktron Agent has infiltrated the base and is here to free his colleagues. Will he pass the cameras and patrols?: Space Police Headquarters9 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr On the other side we see an enforcer on a surveilance speeder, acompanied by a drone, and K9 droid, ready for a quick patrol 'round the planetoid: Space Police Headquarters7 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr And here we have a heavy duty crane, nessessary for managing CCC's and locked within prisoners. The powerful robotic arm and electromagnet easilly shuffle the capsules around: Space Police Headquarters11 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Finally, here's a group shot of all the vehicles included in the MOC, from left to right: Surveillance speeder, Commander's hovercar, RTAT, and a Fighter: Space Police Headquarters12 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Whew, That's a lot of pictures, anywho, thanks for looking, Comments are very welcome, and see you next MOC! :)
  11. I Guess it is going to be either Prozerpine, or, More likely Charon...
  12. It's Bios time! Philosopher: We might be just Toys in the hands of higher beings, We even might not exist at all, being just a projection of our creator's ideas. Since he was young, the Philosopher was struggling with the most existential conundrums. Who are we? Why Are we Here? Is there a purpose to our life? Even most trivial things, like going shopping instantly put him into contemplative mood. He talked to many other minifigs, the Teacher, the Sensei, The Scientist, The Clairvoyant, he even mustered his all courage, and had a chat with Grim Reaper himself, but no one gave him any deffinite answers. To cope with all those quandaries, he created his own philosophical school. Naturally it's not a regular old boring school with classes, blackboards and stuff (much to Schoolboy's dissapointment), but rather a place, where the greatest minifigure minds share their most ingenious and craziest ideas and theories, while having a nice walk around Legopolis' Agora. Philosopher himself wrote many treatises about the nature of things... Cyborg Man Hasta la Vista, sister! See you in Universe 44632! This cybernetically enhanced Mercenary is the Paralel Universe equivalent to Series 16 Cyborg. And since Interdimentional gates are abandoned, he can jump between Dimensions to his heart content. During his Multiverse excursions, the Cyborg Man have seen many incredible worlds, Worlds where minifigs don't have arms and faces, World where everything is made out of basic bricks, World where Robert8's Minifigure Designs were made real by TLG. And many, Many more. He not only met his Female self, but also Evil himself, Non Cybernetic himself, Pirate himself, Zombie himself and inverted colors himself. But after all of those adventures, he wound up in our universe, and joined forces with other defenders of ours and not only ours galaxy. Postman: Special Delivery! Postal service is a good job, challenging work, at outdoors, and you're guaranteed you won't go hungry, if at least there are two minifigs on earth, someone will want to send someone a letter. Or a postcard, or a package. This is the motto of the happy go lucky postman. Even when the weather is bad, the package is heavy, and the dogs constantly attack him, he bravely searches the right address, He knows that somewhere The Artist needs his new set of brushes, Grandpa waits for the new issue of "Old Times", and the Stowaway urgently needs his letter in a bottle delivered. That's a lot of work, but the Postman is here to take care of it. Gate Guard: As long as they pay me, I won't let anyone pass! Don't be fooled by his flamboyant uniform, the Stalwart Gate Guard is a force to be reckoned with. A roving soldier of fortune, he is a guard for hire. For a reasonable price, he'll gladly protect your palace or manor from any intrusion. He served many political and religious leaders, kings, princes, lords and ladies, and they all were impressed by his battle prowess, as well as his stature and presence. Be warned though, as stalwart as Gate Guard is, he is also very fierce and ruthless. If you won't pay him for doing his job, you might meet the sharp end of Gate Guard's Pike yourself! That one time, when some cheapskate bishop didn't pay him, he and his friends sacked the whole city, and left it's denizens at the mercy of their enemy.
  13. Oh, right, the Minifig covered the Ypsilon and Tau with it's hand, and I thought those two letters were Pi, thus instead of Autos, I read Apos. Also, my greek is really rusty, since I've mistaken Ypsilon with Gamma...
  14. Question though, since I studied ancient greek, I tried to decipher Philosopher's scroll, and it says something about friendship, ΦΙΛΟΣ (Philos) means friend, but I can't exactly translate it... Robert, can you tell me what does it say? Roughly it translates: When I call him my friend, nobody calls him their friend. Is it correct?
  15. OH MY GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWD!!!!! Robert you magnificent Bastard you, I'm in love with the French Queen (Hope to see the King soon), The Inventor is amazing, The Philosopher is great, so is the Underworld King, the Gate Guard and the Majorette. Dibs on Philosopher, Cyborg, Postman and Gate Guard bios.
  16. @Robert8: Wait, these all minifigs are in one faction? Anyways, my Idea for a bio was, that male cyborg came from alternate dimension, that's why he's an antithesis and mirrored copy to the female one...
  17. Oh, I get it, That's actually clever! If that's the case, I have an idea, give the male cyborg inverted colourscheme, make his armor white, with red circuitry and hair, If we're going for Yin-Yang/Mirror Reflection/Equal but Opposite theme... Heck, I even already have an Idea for a bio for him...
  18. Yeah, the male cyborg is great, but he's a little tiny bit too similar to the original female one, perhaps changing the color scheme, or a different armor piece would help...
  19. Ooooh, I can't wait for the new series...
  20. I like that idea, we already have many circus themed minifigs in CMF line. Also, my addition would be a circus band, with percussion, wood and brass instruments, and a conductor minifig. Alternatively, a fairground style organ, either automated, or with traditional console. Because, what circus it would be without music?
  21. That's an accurate depiction of every AFOL's heart. Be careful though, so that no one would break it...
  22. Either LDD is officially Dead, or, and that's just my hopeful thinking, they're preparing an update? But no, I guess not, It's just ded. You should contact TLG's Customer Service, and ask them about it...
  23. So either Hades, or Zeus, I pressume...
  24. OMG, I really need to know how you did the dolman (that jacket on his shoulder)!
  25. @RebelliousRebel: For your convinience I've compled them in one place:
