  1. I feel like some of the CMF you listed aren't really Piratey, Like William Shakespeare, and Thespian. I'd also get rid of Mermaids and Ocean King. Also Revolutionary Soldier and Highway man seem too land-based, but generally they fit.
  2. Merry Christmas Guys! :D
  3. Wow, the Grapes are ingenious!
  4. I kinda prefered the closed helmet original, but still, This is awesome!
  5. Yeah, that's a nice train, but you shouldn't give your topic such a clickbaity title...
  6. Damn, the Queen is beautiful!
  7. I'd say Redbeard is just based on a general, syncretic archetype of a pirate captain, an amalgamation of pirate tropes. He is stylized on infamous Edward "Blackbeard" Teach, but also has the hook hand of Captain Hook, and the pegleg of Long-John Silver, and the eponymous red beard might be a reference to Hizir Rais Barbarossa (Barbarossa means Red Beard), famous ottoman privateer and admiral.
  8. Captain's log, Day 8. Still no manatee in sight. The morale of the crew plummets. They start to say I'm crazy, that there is no such thing as xmas raffle manatee, that I'm deranged, and obsessed, and should give up on the expedition, and if they'll have to, they'll remove me from the chain of command by force. But I'm not crazy! CopMike told me there is a high chance to encounter this mythical beast, and the calculations support it! I know it is somewhere, and I'm going to find it! Even if that means mutiny. Heh, how ironic, Mutiny caused by a search for a manatee... IT'S A MANATEE MUTINY! AAAAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!
  9. AW MAH GAAAAWD!!!!!!! Dibs on Executioner, the Art Restorer, and Canival Barker!
  10. Oh, gender-bender, I like it!

  16. How About Pride Rock in Micro Scale? I mean it's the most Iconic location from Lion King, and far better suited for an Advent Calendar gift...
  17. For Broadside, I would use Revolutionary Soldier powdered Wig, if only it was made in Dark Orange, And for Redbeard (At least the Modern Version) This: 20181116_012032 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr

  22. Both of those are based off of Japanese Jingasa, though the tan one is more universally used in South-Eastern Asia, the other design being exclusively Japanese.

  24. Love the actor bio, very nice and accurate... Space Explorer Mega Core Magnetizer to Mothership, come in! Our readings show radiation Anomalies in sector B, going EVA to investigate, over! Space, the final frontier, there are a lot of new fantastic worlds to discover, and the space explorer wants to survey it all. Proud member of M:Tron mining and exploration crew, his Titanium alloyed powersuit is equipped with everything he needs to research any planet: remote probes, sensors, scanners, and even a jetpack, so that even the deepest chasms and craters won't stop him in his quest to traverse the galaxy far and wide. This intrepid minifigure is driven by his insatiable thirst of knowledge, but discovering what our universe has to offer is really time consuming, even with a state-of-art ship with FTL drive. Space Explorer has seen a lot, bizarre alien races, ancient remnants of lost space civilizations, advanced space tech, but there is so much more to discover, it would be impossible for him to expierience it all! Still, this brave pioneer boldly continues onward, to another mysterious planetary system, where no minifig has gone before...
  25. Always a Pleasure Robert. :)
