  1. great landscaping. I also very much like the balcony and staircase.
  2. lovely MOC. Great work on all the detailing, entrance, windows, beams, balcony. My white bricks are also very yellow, but I've never taken the effort to wash them in the washing machine. Would that make any difference, or is it pretty much impossible to get them white again?
  3. Nice Lodge indeed and awesome interiors! I used a removable wall to show the interior of my embassy, but it's much nicer to make it modular.
  4. wow, man this is one crazy build! Very impressive and great fun. To many interesting features to name them all: roof, mosaic, heroglyfs, croc-carriage, etc etc. If we have to build all building in Abyssan this size, Albion will look like a tiny village ;) But I guess, since we nocturians like to live in the shadows, this massive structure is more then welcome :P
  5. Mighty Lord Ssilyrrlith, I am pleased to report that our constructions work in Mitgardia has reached it's completion. Ragnarok is an Embassy in the Orcish Marches of Mitgardia. It has all aspects as requested: easy to defend, design to show the power and wealth of Nocturnus in order to cause defectors. The local orcish clans have shown no sign of hostility, yet. However, we continue to to distrust them. We would like to request an audiance at your palace to provide a presentation of our project. Your most devoted servant, Count Nero Ragnarok Nocturnus Embassy in Mitgardia, to visit in this thread

Your most devoted servant, Count Nero Ragnarok Nocturnus Embassy in Mitgardia We Nocturians enjoy our contact with the local Mitgardians The top of the tower is a design of CheesySlopes. I used some Derfel techniques for the windows, one roof element is from busboy's mitgardian tower. The footsteps in the snow are copied from Hound'. The Mitgardian peasant present in the interior is there just to keep up appearances. He is released short after the pictures was completed with a nice sum of money and complements. Bigger pictures available in my flickr C&C Welcome, especially on how to take better pictures, Count Balthasar Nero, House of the Black Knights For our mighty guild Nocturnus
  7. That's fantastic and also very usefull in other occasions. Is it difficult to create? My webbuilding knowledge is limited.
  8. Wauw, again such an inspiring build! I love it. It's always a great pleasure to see you experiment. I also like the triangles with the shield in the middle. You say in your post that it's derived from Warhammer. As I am not really familier with it, could you post the picture? Or do you have website-adress with warhammer concept art? I tried to look around with google images, but there is not a great deal to find there when it comes to warhammer buildings or warhammer building concept art.
  9. Great landscaping again. That tree is magnificent. I also like the flowers falling from the tree on to the road. A simple technique, yet I can't remember seeing it before.
  10. Holy crap dude, there is so much to see here! So many colours, so many angles. It takes at least 20 pictures to show everything that's going on. I can imagine the pain to get it all fixed. Do people get lost in your embassy?
  11. I like everything about it, except that it's Mitgardian Wasn't black supposed to be difficult to photograph? Your pictures look great!
  12. Nice ship! Good coloring. Fit's well into your fleet. Reminds me of the good old warcraft 2 intro: At 0:16 your can clearly see your second smallest ship on the right side. You might want to turn the flag on your newest ship though, it looks like they are sailing against the wind.
  13. What will we be building after the embassy round ends? Is there a list somewhere of future rounds? I've looked everywhere, but I can't find anything. I'm done for a while with the creative process of my embassy. It's all just stuff that has to be done now. It would be nice if I can start the thinking-process on my next project. All this shower/car-driving time seems to be kind of wasted now :) As I noticed that the pesky Avalonians seem to question the supreme power of the great Nocturnians, I'll focus on siege weapon design for now.
  14. Hi there, added the city of Merodaquinas to the map: edit: added S'dak'l'vil'th's to the map. I hope you don't mind that I shortened it a bit. It was getting to crowded in that spot if i added 'lands' to it.
  15. Another option is to use white feathers and horns like Derfel does. Suits very well if you are using leaves, especially from a distance.
  16. Nice build! I especially like how you build the tudor elements and the grey, unusually shaped windows.
  17. I really like your style, it looks so smooth. Great coloring. Love the fence.
  18. Awesome how the design matches the dwarven theme. I've never even tried to imagine a dwarven ship before. Really impressive.
  19. Very impressive. Gigantic and very detailed. I bet you can see the whole of Historica from the top of that tower! Also really nice touches on the cloud, venetian bridge, cave and ofcourse the goat :)
  20. Great build! Those windows and doorway are incredible!
  21. Great landscaping! Can I steal that forest-style one day? It has a real "unwelcoming" atmosphere to it. The gold-green flags and evil dwarfs make me wonder: Do you feel drawn to the powerful darkside of Historica? :)
  22. What an epic treefortress! It has so many great features, the size of the tree, the concept, the roofing, plantlife, underwater scene, and of course a stunning interior. I really love it!
  23. Great story and well thought through (elevated housing, raised walkway, etc). I always wondered what 'regular' life looked like in the swamps of the darklands. This makes it a lot easier to imagine.
  24. a nice dark feel. That lava looks great! I prefer the lightning shot.
  25. An absolute beauty! Such a great atmosphere and original build. Very inspiring!
