  1. Thank you Stiel for doing this review. After reading your review, I felt quite regretted for not picking this set up while it was available for a very short while before it was discontinued. This was actually quite an exclusive set with limited run as I don't see it readily available in many normal distribution channels back in 2005 to 2006. This set was put together with the 8801 counterpart,
  2. Happy Birthday Admiral Croissant!!!
  3. Here are my votes, + 1 to Cecilie + 1 to The Penguin + 1 to Vincent Kessels
  4. Very nicely done! I love all of those funny illustrations!
  5. BSTF, to me is something that be used to view 'buy', 'sell', 'trade' and 'find' topics of my interest based on the topic title and the topic descrption. Both of such elements are very good indicative for 'one' to ascertain and establish the topic's rough agenda in your mind before clicking it to view the content. To carry out such changes by allowing tagging in-place, will indeed make the BSTF looks neater, but to me I find it very unacceptable if such measures are to be enforce by running scripts. Pardon me, I am not shunning it from the programming aspect of the board software. I am very much concerned of the latter. The Eurobricks member who had such intention to create any of the above interested topics, ought to take their very own responsibility to ensure that these information are conveyed to the targeted audiences effectively. It is the own Eurobricks member who had created such topic to have the responsiblity to ensure that their topic titles are listed correctly with the most effective form of topic namings by beginning with 'WTB' (Willing-to-Buy), 'WTS' (Willing-to-sell), etc, which are commonly used in the Internet. If we are to put this into practice, these topics starters will just be plain lazy and that is something I will discourage. Making it too convenient for people will result false perepction and I could hardly see if the person is truly sincere to sell or to buy. It tells a lot through such simple tell-tale signs. I am not advocating this and the bottom line is, it is the responsiblity of the topic starter to be responsible and ensure that the right information is put across, if not, then that person should not be even creating such topics in the BSTF. 6. I have merged your topic into this existing discussion. Thank you for sharing your methodology. I will love to give it a try when I have much free time on my hand.
  7. Big Cam, the CMF boxes are 'valuable' in some sense especially if you have them from S1 to S7, like the one below. And, yes it does take quite abit of space and I also have problem storing it and wanting to dispose my spare boxes which I did. Ended up, I made an effort to keep at least one box of each series as I find these CMF boxes a good unique way to see how the CMF packets are kept. I also kept some of the opened packets but versus opened packets, I will rather you keep them 'sealed', and it look far more better than opened packets. No one really want to have those opened packets so I could safely assume it can be thrown since I treat it more like plastic wrappers. Keep some of the sealed ones from each series. It is much better and much meaningful. Just my 2 cents worth.
  8. I will really think Brickthing, together with his team had set a brand new records in CUUSOO.
  9. Access granted. Welcome to Reviewers Academy.
  10. That's very nice of you and also, the illustrations are great.
  11. I will be looking forward to it if it is going to return back in the coming years.
  12. Merged with the main discussion.
  13. Seeing it actually reminds me of the actual scene. Well done. I can't believe the amount of height that you had placed in the entrance. It must be very huge.
  14. I am also waiting for such a pic too.
  15. Dear SheepEater, This is not the place for you to insert your 'rants' about software updates. And, clear enough there is little background information about your topic as well. With that in mind, this topic will be locked. Please be mindful and refrain from creating such little useful topic. Thank you. WhiteFang
  16. This is getting very good! Seeing all of these new Superheroes which are scheduled for 2013 releases, is making me very excited. Of course, I ought to complete my Superheroes collection for this year before planning to get these upcoming new releases.
  17. I like the way you had extended the height upwards. Certainly made the Uruk-Hais a little more difficult to penetrate through. By the way, did you put it beside Helms Deep?
  18. We will see how it goes in the near future.
  19. Finally found some spare-time to do up my new Friends avatar! Mia was my first Friends minifigure that I had ever opened. Bonus image Link to Flickr image
  20. It's like a brand new Xmas experience all over again. Never felt so recharged and bright!
  21. A huge congratulations to all of the winners in all 3 categories! It was very pleasing and enjoyable to see so many high quality entries participating in this one of a kind Batman customisation contest in Eurobricks. Got to give a huge thanks to The Penguin who is our biggest donor ever on EB for being such a gracious and generous member of our community. He is very kind and I have the utmost respect for sharing the love of our hobby with the deserving members. This could not be achieved, if our MCW Moderator, LuxorV who had planned and coordinated this entire contest experience! Well done to all of you!
  22. The problem is, when you type 'LEGO Korea', in Google, you don't get results that you will desire, is because their culture and way of communicating with one another is through Korean language. To be honest, I don't have any of the link in my bookmarks at the moment and I need to ask someone who I know, if I can meet him up soon. Korea is the first country in Asia to have Shop@Home direct from TLG. This, reasoning alone indicate a huge potential in the market, whereas other countries in Asia still do not have a bigger market to support. However, I do hope this will change as the first LEGOLAND in Asia is due for opening in Sep 2012 in Malaysia, where it will be able to bring neighbouring countries nearby. I saw this website, BrickInside, a blog which I had encountered before (she has tons of Paradisa stuff), the built of the Tallest LEGO Tower in Seoul and here. Just need more extra time to find those links. These are just mere indicative evidence. I had seen it in the past 'somewhere', but I am hardly mistaken about it. Could have read it from one of the Asian forum.
  23. Just a quick reply, South Korea indeed got one of the highest amount of LEGO collectors. Just because you don't see them in any English websites or forum does not mean their existence is not there. Thanks pbegin for sharing this!
  24. No issue on that, please proceed. I will update the first post to indicate the change.
