  1. Just realised this topic was moved by me to a very wrong place.
  2. I love this! It's awesome and it is better than this version! Very nicely done with realistic touch. I am a huge fan of F-18 hornet.
  3. Actually, I didn't know that this display is uncommon. I had seen it before in shopping centres that sell LEGO in Singapore. I thought such in-store display was common to many places, including Ninjago boardgames, Ninjago Summer sets and Friends sets, all comes with such hologram display.
  4. Thanks! Indiana Jones sets are very enjoyable to play with. Regarding your comment on the BA weapon, perhaps you could like to offer constructive thoughts to share your insights with BrickArms by providing them relevant feedback. Thanks Badger. Always a pleasure to see great quality products from BrickArms. I agrees!
  5. My latest title and I got no idea who it might be? Hinck? Shadows? Big Cam? Rufus? Who is it???? - Retitillating toxic spill cleaner who had went to touch and feel [ Seriously, I don't know who had messed around with my title but it definitely must be something related to LEGO CMFs Series 7, where I had to find my CMFs Series 7 through the touch and feel method. Now, I had this expanded new title. ]
  6. It is great to know that you have received the package safely! I believe there is a few more of you who have not indicated if they had received it. Hope it is actually safe in your residence and not somewhere else.
  7. Glad you guys received the package safely! It is nice to know that you had enjoyed the content very much! By the way, Plissken, that was a very nice presentation. I really appreciate it very much! Thank you for taking your time to take these lovely pictures!
  8. I got excited for nothing after reading the comments.
  9. I am extremely looking forward to it. Looks like our UK friends will be very busy to help the world to get it. Thank you Rick for the frontpage and Rufus for the update of the first page.
  10. Happy Birthday Christian! May you have a great and fun one!
  11. Christopher , that is very nice of you! I really hope the Butcher can find a worthy owner.
  12. I know this will be a bump but I seriously didn't know that Illustrator is capable of extracting decals from the very real minifigure's design and edit from there. I thought decals were drawn or designed from the computer software and I got no idea it can be done in this fashion. Thank you for enlighten me. I am sure I had my Illustrator software somewhere... Thank you for putting it to the index as that is the place where I am searching for some guides.
  13. Moderator's note I disagrees. Allowing and condoning Eurobricks members of not using appropriate grammar, spelling, punctuation and proper capitalisation in your commenting content in your sentences is very much essential and highly regarded in Eurobricks forum. If members begin to disregard the most basic fundamentals etiquette, it will lead to chat-style language type of forum/chat-board, spam-fest fiesta and inconsistent way of writing. This is an international forum and English language is the bridge to overcome language barrier among us. We do understand if the member is not from an English-speaking country and understands that mistakes will be made when they are attempting to post a comment. At the very bare minimum, they try to do it right and put in the effort to do so. We are able to tolerate and assist these members. If members type in whatever style and methods that they choose, the entire reading experience for other members and lurkers to be feeling extremely unpleasant to click and scroll through the spam structured comments. However, if members who are just plain lazy and ignorant and refuses to comply for the sake of not wanting to write their comments in the above recommended fashion (highlighted in italic), the comments coming from that member will be moderated by Eurobricks Staff, leading to further intervention to implement corrective efforts. This note is not to attempt to moderate anyone but merely highlighting the importance of it. Please continue to stick your discussion related to LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8 pertaining to the rumours or factual information in this discussion. If anyone wish to further clarify, may do so in the Website and Forums section. Thank you for your attention. WhiteFang
  14. Amazing stuff. Love the speed of this rollercoaster of yours.
  15. I had moved and merged your topic into this discussion, where members can ask for identification assistance.
  16. Having worked together for the earlier Batman contest last year, it was definitely a positive experience. Now, you have kindly graced upon the Eurobricks Community to once again sponsor all of the prizes and shipping for all of the 3 categories. I am extremely excited and thankful for your very kind and generous spirit. Looking forward to see the participants gearing up for this epic contest.
  17. Hello everyone, 2012 BrickArms MAAWS, Artillery Shells and Warheads It's really great to be back to share with all of you, a brand new releasing highlights in the field of LEGO Customisation on the military aspect. Brought to you by the one of the leading Minifigures Customisation Manufacturer, BrickArms who designed and developed these, I bring you the BrickArms 2012: MAAWS, Artillery Shells and Warheads experience. Presenting the new BrickArms 2012 MAAWS pack The BrickArms 2012 MAAWS pack was released in March 2012. So far, all of the BrickArms re-sellers only carry the black version, while for the gunmetal version, I am actually glad to be given the honour by Will Chapman and the enigma that is badger to be given an exclusive preview to review the unreleased MAAWS gunmetal version. I do believe that BrickArms is planning to release the gunmetal version somewhere in the very near future. I will leave it to the BrickArms to plan for the official release. Viewing the content of the 2 different types of MAAWS packaging As you can see, each of the package comes with a main zip-lock bag and 2 additional small ones to hold the rounds and ammunition, and the other one which holds the main weapon system. Each package is sold as a set and the packaging for the zip-lock bag is of a high-grade quality which can be firm and pretty lasting than those typical zip-lock bags. From the 2 images below, you will be able to view the complete layout of the MAAWS coated with 'Black' and 'Gunmetal' finishing. The rounds are also different in colours. The black version came in multiple colours to identify for its different usage, whereas the gunmetal version is simply marked with the same colouring and you could only identify the usage based on the shape. So, which type of rounds do you like best? MAAWS coated with 'Black' finishing MAAWS coated with 'Gunmetal' finishing Different types of BrickArms Artillery Shells and Warheads There are 3 main types of BrickArms Artillery Shells and Warheads. As you can see the image above, the red warhead is meant for 'HEAT' and it refers to High Explosive Anti Tank. By positioning the explosives in an inverted cone, the explosive effect will be funnel into a very tight spot that burns and melts through tank armour. The blue warhead is known as 'HEDP' and it means High Explosive anti-tank warhead. Instead of burns and melts through tank armour, it relies on extreme pressure to penetrate the tank armour. The last green warhead is known as 'Kinetic'. Judging by the term 'kinetic', it refers to an energy of force and to effectively use the warhead, it must have used lots of kinetic energy and high speed to launch the projectile. All of which have to be coupled together with the given shell casings before arming it. MAAWS (Multi-Purpose Anti-Armour Weapons System) The MAAWS is known as the Multi-Purpose Anti-Armour Weapons System which is designed to be portable and lightweight for special group of solders like the commandos, guards, etc to be given this weapon in a section level movement. It is used to take down those incoming enemy tanks who think they are safe behind that armour-plated shield. But, they are wrong to assume that way especially when there are various kind of warheads to bring the heat across to them. The MAAWS is made up of a launch tube and a venturi exhaust. Side view of the MAAWS Taking aim I am strong enough to march with my one arm Load and Ready, Sir! Can you see the round loaded inside the chamber before it is place to ready? Can you see the difference? In this image, you can see that once the round is loaded, it can't be see through unlike the other empty chamber. The German Troopers are ready to bring their new weapons to take down the escaped prisoner Can our beloved Indiana Jones survive? To conclude, I am very pleased to use this new anti-tank weapon system to take down those enemy tanks. I could only relate to the MATADOR weapon since it is used in my country. So, I could relate this BrickArms weapon together for this purpose and the objective is to take down, if not stall enemy convey movement. I enjoyed placing different rounds for different purposes and creating a small chaotic scene like in this Indiana Jones chase. Those Indiana Jones sets made a fine military scenario and BrickArms weapons add lots of nice touch and enhance the playing experience with superb enjoyment. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to showcase the usage of artillery shells and the launch of the warhead from the MAAWS, but I am sure you are able to figure it out and add it to your fun when you have a chance to own it. Pictures can be found in My Flickr and Brickshelf folder (when moderated).
  18. I find it very highly unlikely unless the place/source which you have gotten had managed to re-seal the original seal without causing any re-pasting by re-using the seal with careful delicate measures. I hope I am not reading too much into it but it is really very unpleasant to know that you are unable to complete 3 sets in 1 box. All in all, it could just be bad luck.
  19. Is your CMF Series 7 comes with a 'sealed' box? It might be randomised if the box is not originally sealed.
  20. Excellent! I truly enjoyed it and you have put across the meaning very well.
  21. Congratulations to the both of you! Do your very best to assist the SW Mods. We have great faith in you guys.

  23. Best suited in the Community Forum. Topic moved.
  24. Nice one Jimbee. Even though most of the parts or almost all can be bricklinked to re-create this set. The feeling will not be as special and exclusive when you are able to get it in the brand store release. This make a fine piece of deco in your office table which I will place it even if I ever got a chance to get this though.
  25. Special thanks to our Reviewers Academy Teacher, JimButcher for reviewing and sharing with us this exclusive in-store promotional set known as the 3300003 LEGO Store Promotional Set. Click here to view this review.
