  1. Despite of the idiotic rats not knowing the loyalists' night abilties, but don't you think that they could narrow down of the possible actions which could be gained in the game of life, since these rats knew each other, and I am not surprised that they knew each others' abilities as well. It's a matter of deducing from trial and errors... However, we don't have many loyal lives to let them try out on us, before more of us face the crypt....
  2. I am very sure, Iris has assigned us a hidden investigator whom is a loyalist to checked out others' alignment. In this case, the investigator is not aware each other true identity and commintment. For those smelly rats, I am sure they knew each other's identity and collude with each other in the midst of the night. One thing for certain, that investigator won't be appearing so soon, as he or she will be likely to be the next target for the killer whom may belong to the loyalists or the rats. What other clues do we have on hand?
  3. Zorro, congratulations. Be sure to do your best in one of the most active forums in Eurobricks. Do let us know if you need any help.
  4. This is one unexpected night of actions. It's a celebration that we should call for, that flithy Boyd is dead and done for. However, Tony was unfortunate to be ambush by the mystery character. I wonder if this mystery character ever knew he is loyal or not, or a shot in the dark. I supposed it was misfortunate to our side.
  5. You typed so much in circles, just to ask that simple question. Sad to said, the answer is "Yes".... If you are a member in most offical retail stores or shopping centres, you will get at most 10% discount, unless there is a sales, this set is likely to go at most 20% discount off the retail price. SGD$29.90 is the offical retail price over here. We don't have shop@home access, and are not able to enjoy the benefits offered there. Thanks darkrebellion. I have not built the other battlepack yet, but from its first look, I think the speeder bike looks kind of cool and offer additional one more minifigs compared to this set. Oh well, I still love this battlepack.
  6. I am not very sure too. I think there is one particular headpiece seemed to be facing left instead of right. I believe I have seen a similar topic like this before somewhere. You are absolutely correct on the pricing aspect. Actually, this review was entirely written on Singapore aspect due to its pricing label. I realised that it was so much affordable when I checked the US and UK price. Putting that aside, I used price to gauge and factor into my scoring by taking prices of the country's context at that point of release instead of taking inflation and apperication value over time. Normally, I won't be ranting so much on the price if it is similar across the major markets. In most cases, I am likely to use Singapore's pricing as my price indicator unless the price is not available, and naturally USD will be taken into consideration. Ranting about sets and placing in the review, because it appericate overtime is not acceptable, because it's not able to justify strongly on the actual appraisal process of the intended true value. Most of the time, the pricing is determined by market forces in the market place such as Bricklink and eBay. I feel that such points could be included but defintely not allowed to be emphasis or included as a factor in the score. Therefore, the very last point which is mentioned by you, I agreed with your reasoning. Edit: Shadows, I have added a disclaimer at the end of the review to clarify the above.
  7. Hello to all Eurobricks members and Star Wars lovers, This is my very first Star Wars review in Eurobricks! Although, this is not my first Star Wars set but this set is defintely one of my favourite which prompted me to do up this review after I have bought this set today. Without further ado, let me go through the long awaited battle pack for all Clone Wars collectors. Before I touched on, I will like to highlight that I am not a guru in Star Wars and if I have used any of the terms wrongly. Please pardon me. Thanks. Name: Clone Walker Battle Pack Theme: LEGO System / Star Wars / Clone Wars Year: 2009 Pieces: 72 Minifigs: 4 Price: USD$9.99, SGD$29.90 Resources: Brickset, Peeron An image of a 8014, Clone Walker Battle Pack Take a look at the back of the box The Clone Walker Battle pack is a dream come true for all Clone Wars army builders. This is the battle pack which provides collectors, the ability to purchase multiple sets at an affordable cost to load these soldiers into Republic signature vehicles and aircrafts such as RGS and AT-TE. Clone Troopers are rarely seen in most CW (Clone Wars) sets and are distributed in a limited quantity across the board such as the Republic Fighter Tank selling at a much higher price that only provides two Clone Troopers and the RGS offering one Clone Trooper and Captain Rex. With this remarkable belief for collectors, we shall discover much more interesting stuff in this set. A peek into the manuals, packets and spare parts Within the box, there are total 3 small sealed packets to construct this lovely little set. This is a peek of the instruction manual of building the Clone Walker. After building, these are the remaining parts which will be kept for storage. An overview of its minifigs parts and accessories These are the detailed breakdown of the minifigs' parts which consist of helmets, torsos, legs, blasters, and headpiece. Unlike, traditional Star Wars Clone Troopers or Storm Troopers, this is the very first time a facial expression is printed on its headpiece to reflect individual personality of the Clone Troopers such as Commander Cody, Commander Fox and Captain Rex in the recent Clone Wars movies (Animated). Tactical Gear The Clone Troopers, themselves This awesome battlepack comes with 4 clone troopers, representing a patrol force, consisting of a Clone Commander. a Clone Gunner and two Clone Troopers. This standard patrol force represents the mighty brave Clone Troopers. They do look awesome in their outfit. Clone Troopers Evolution cycle Clone Troopers have undergone 2 major transformations which is part of the movies sequence from Episode II to Episode IV, where the Clone Troopers have also change their allegiance to the Emperor in Episode III and Storm Troopers begin to appear and taking over the past Clone Troopers and alter their personality, eventually become a puppet for the Empire. The Episode III Clone Troopers, appear in the 7655 Clone Troopers Battlepack in 2007 and Storm Troopers from Episode IV to VI appear in the 7667 Imperial Dropship in 2008. Triple Change? These are the different possible variations appeared in this set which could be utilised by the Clone Commander. There are the visor, flash light and antenna communication. Each of this served different purposes for different Clone Commander designated to lead its patrol. Clone Walker: Building up the base Covering up the sides of the cockpit The fast moving legs These legs especially the claws, remind me of those small fast looking carnivorous dinosaur such as Velociraptor and Deinonychus. At the same time, these legs are the smaller version of the AT ST, Chicken Walker. The legs look quite sturdy but the hinges on its knees do have some bending restrictions. Major sections of the Clone Walker The building process of the Clone Walker took me less than 5 minutes to complete as it's a relatively simple design. This Clone Walker may look simple and ugly at the first glance, but it can be quite fun transporting these soldiers into battle. I don't think this walker could stand up with those droids machines. These are the major sections of the Clone Walker. Did I mention that it come with 2 flick-fire missiles? These missiles are placed by the side of the cockpit. As always, these flicking missiles never attract me. I do think kids love to flick their fingers to shoot at the droids. Stickers again... Ready for battle! For victory and glory! To conclude, I am very pleased that TLG has decided to release this ultimate long awaited battlepack set that satisfied all collectors in the Clone War era. These battlepacks ultimately are bought to place its troopers inside the RGS where they are loaded into the skies and battle from region to region. Eventually, this set will enforce the army power of the Republic. The main downside for this set will be its expensive price tag attached to it, partly due to its license from George Lucas. I am very sure most of us whom are interested in this set, are basically paying for the minifigs. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (Could use walker to integrate into mini battles and soldiers are able to add onto other ships/vehicles) Design: 8/10 (Minifigs' design are excellent but Clone Walker looks a little small and simple.) Price: 7/10 (An expensive army building set, but this is the only way to obtain multiple Clone Troopers.) Overall: 7.7/10 (Long awaited army building set for the Clone War collectors, despite of the hefty price tag.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Disclaimer: In this review, the ranting of the pricing is entirely based on Singapore context and is not applicable for other regions such as US and UK. Thanks. Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  8. Thanks for taking your time by sharing these super wonderful images with our community and I have said it before, and I am going to said it again and again. These armies are just so incredible massive and could easily swept any invading factions. You have caused many of the kingdoms to tremble in fear. Speechless.
  9. Hinck, thanks for sharing us. I saw the Brewery in Brickzone before, but I never knew there was a topic for it in here. As for this moc, I must admit I do like it very much, especially on its outer looks with great combination of brown and tan bricks. I wonder what kind of vehicles could you service inside your building? Only 4 studs? Oh, I heard someone in Classic Town.net has featured this remarkable moc.
  10. I enjoyed this review very much and it has defintely persuaded me to get this set no matter what, to compliment my town collection such as the Shop and wide range of construction vehicles. It's defintely valued for money and offer high playability at the same time. This review has been featured in Classic Town.net.
  11. Hinck, one stupid question. Do we need to submit our votes via pm to you now?
  12. Running a contest can only be done through admins and staff of Eurobricks. In this case, this is clearly not accepted and the rules are not well defined. You can suggest your contest ideas in this topic. If you are intending to make use of others mocs/entries for your individual submission in a contest, my advice to you is "Go build you own entry, instead of requesting from other." Building revolved around individual's imagination and none can replicate it. This topic served no purpose and objective into this discussion, thus this shall be locked.
  13. When I view this entry inside Classic Town, I thought you are going on an adventure trip to different parts of the world. Now, I understand your intentions and I am sure to watch your updates regularly. Can't wait to view the start of your adventure. On another note, I love these Classic Town aircrafts.
  14. Nannan, a very fine review indeed. I do love this set, for the very fact that Count Dooku is inside this set, along with its speeder and ship. For another good reason for me, I did not buy the magma starfighter, and this set come along with its guards. I could not see any reason not to get this to add to my CW collection.
  15. Brickster, I will like to said thanks again, for doing this unique set review. It helped me in my purchase, before concluding to get one of this set today as part of my first bulk purchase in 2009. I do love the torso and the white jewels very much, as these are the main attractions for me. The ship does look kiddish but at the same time, it is cute too. Kind of reminded me of those simple bulk bricks design, but this is so much better.
  16. Ignore that silly Pedro, he was walking on thin wire, trying to sow discord among us... For the very first day, that is not a healthy image which he is potraying. Whatever the case, he is history and I don't seemed to find any concerte clues or links to his words... Oh, Adalaide, for a lady like you to wield a gun in broad daylight, that is one wild cat.
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks! I am sure you will find this place a very fun and unique interactive experience.
  18. Indiana Jones is so great, and I can't wait for my sets to arrive on Tuesday, and get myself to build some. I am sure the latter half of the year, it will be so much interesting since it focus the earlier 3 films which are kind of classic. I could imagine myself, swirling it around. This could be a great start, for Indiana Jones!
  19. This is a good attempt, but could be further improved to transform it into pictoral review instead, similar to reviews like this and this. We will like you to try and expand your reviews into this level, which could be a real challenge.
  20. I meant we should check out the Fronts for a start. I am not pointing fingers. Knowing the fact that the Fronts work for the Baritones, they could be easily led by others since their primary objective is to launder our money. This is one area which we could look at.
  21. I couldn't agreed less that the Fronts, should be checked, to make sure they are really "dirty enough" to be posing for a clean front. I walked out for awhile, and this discussion took it to 10 folds. With these booze and talking, we sure getting this atmosphere right.
  22. There is no perfect formula for creating a review. If you are really interested in reviews, I urge you to sign up for Reviewers Academy and learn via Eurobricks which could be very beneficial. You could always use your complete reviews as long they have not been posted in EB and let our teachers help you to perfect it.
  23. I will get one for you in just a moment, my lovely princess. I just went to the storage to grab some fine whiskey and it seemed our brother, Dragonatieri has some fine premium whiskey. Why don't we taste some of this fine consignment which we have looted few months ago. What is with all the annoying looks and faces... Did I miss some of the actions earlier. It's as annoying as it seemed and we have jumped onto others so quickley. This is unwise, my brothers. Well, brothers we shall be, for the ones whom truly pledge their alignment to the Baritones. Cheers to everyone and DOWN with those stinky rats and squealers!
  24. My fellow brothers, shall we check those goons whom was recently admitted to Baritones. We need to ensure that their background are dirty enough, to be certify as clean... Perhaps, that is where we can start. Why don't our shopowners tell us more about the daily operations as well. I am sure boss will like to know how are our money laundering coming along..
  25. Excellent start to this wonderful game! Now, I understand the flow of this game. It's very innovative and secretive, for the very first time, voting is done in a very special envirnoment! I am sure we, as players will have lots of inference to do and play around. Oh, your disclaimer looks pretty subtle and hidden. On the other note, Sky is sad to know that Darlene has been brutally murdered by Iris... Hinck, how long do a day or night last? You did not specify it in Day 1.
