  1. Excellent review. I was rather skeptical about this set but your review has convinced me to get this set, no matter what. Be it all the delicious pizzas or the beautiful looking printed parts, this set is worth getting. Thanks Oky and congratulations.
  2. Oh my gosh, another 3 deaths, but these deaths is a victory for us, sanes, with the exception of our dear Mike whom has tragically fallen to the hands of the killers.. May god bless you and your children. I hope the both of you could stay strong together. Yesterday, the theory of the 3 killers is true and based on the night scenes, there is 3 different visible killers and I am very glad one of them managed to nab the most dangerous "neutral" killer, and of course if we could identify Cyril earlier, we could turn the tables against the insanes. Nevertheless, I am very certain that the remaining 2 killers belong to the sanes and insanes but I am almost very certain that the one whom kill Cyril by a pistol is a sane and the one whom kill Mike by a hatchet is an insane. This is concluded by the turn of events happened last night and that's how I interprete it, on the basis that an insane won't kill an insane in the night. Although there were no successful conviction on Day 2, but we managed to score a true insane by sheer luck, with the assistance of the late Cyril. At this critical point, we have eliminated two scums and if we keep pushing them to a corner, these insanes will reveal themselves, I hope.
  3. Thanks to our new Eurobricks member bxheist for sharing this Atlantis polybag review, 30040 Octopus
  4. Congratulation guys! These promotions are well deserved.
  5. Welcome back, Staudie! Glad to have you back. Seriously, that's a very good list to start with.
  6. I am cracking my head, and I am very tempted to examine those statues closely but at the same time, I might triggered something, and if they ever move, I am sure they won't be so friendly. Penny, should we give it a try?
  7. I am sure this discussion will eventually transformed into flaming of sites, forums and etc. This is something which Eurobricks will never want. Topic is now locked. WhiteFang
  8. Thanks to our new Reviewers Academy Teacher, ZO6 for sharing his graduation review with us, 6195 Neptune Discovery Lab
  9. I was looking around for Day 3, but I am glad Day 3 has not started yet. I am back and will follow the rest of the story closely. Thanks for extending the period for us.
  10. Happy Belated Birthday, Batbrick. I know I am late for the party, but better late than never.
  11. One thing for sure, the suspicions are heading towards either the Airline Staff group or the Passengers group, while Seth is the only remaining surviving person inside the Coast Guard group. There is not much of what we can do at this point in time. I hate to take a blind shot but we need to start to evaluate our options because the Day for many of us, is the only discussion option for us to get or at least attempting to narrow the insanes.
  12. Thanks guys. I am glad you all have enjoyed reading this review. This set is definitely one of the valued sets, similar to the Indiana Jones, 7195 Ambush in Cairo. It appears TLG has seriously noted our great interest towards minifigs designs and parts assortments.
  13. I remembered too. Welcome back. By the way, we have a dedicated topic for such notices, but since you have been away for so long, we will give this topic some bit of exposure before we merge both topics. WhiteFang
  14. Hello everyone, Wait no more, the Prince of Persia has finally arrived the shores of Singapore. Actually, I wanted to review this as soon as I can, but with many wonderful Reviewers from Eurobricks contributing, I thought it will be nice if I could slowly take my time to review them one by one. Nevertheless, I will begin my Prince of Persia reviewing spree with the smallest set. Anyway, it has been a long while since I last review something proper, and I really hope you will enjoy reading this. Name: Desert Attack Theme: LEGO System / Prince of Persia Year: 2010 Pieces: 67 Minifigs: 4 Price: USD$10.99, GBP N.A, SGD$25.90 Resources: Brickset, Peeron, BrickLink An image of a 7569, Desert Attack A rear image of a 7569, Desert Attack Dastan don't feel safe in this region Although the 7569 Desert Attack is the smallest set among the 5 available sets made for this Disney movie, but this set has truly taken builders into another brand new level, involving new exciting parts and minifigures in this affordable looking LEGO set. Now, come on with me and Dastan on this magical journey where new assortments are now forged and ready. Instruction Manual and Contents polybags You will find 2 sealed polybags and instruction manual. The printed Persian looking horse and brown bush plant is packed separately. New Weapons assortment Many new exciting weapons can now be found in this incredible set. You are able to obtain new parts such as the bladed claw weapon which resembles "Wolverine", new armored shoulder pad and Dastan scabbard holder. As for the rest of the weapons, you will get 2 katana, 2 dark brown looking spears and 1 long doubled axe. These weapon parts are very useful for customising your solders and guards within your armies. Useful parts for your own use Not only the weapons are great, even these parts are very useful too. Who could not want to have spare parts of the treasure gems and plants, especially the dark bluish gray plant and dark tan cactus which could be used for building your desert surroundings? Of course, it's also nice to have a scorpion and snake added into the pool. I have too many of those, but it's still good to have. Desert Attack Minifigures cast The weapons and useful parts are not just the "Wow" factor, but instead the minifigures assortments are truly the main beauty attraction for this set, and it's one of the key reasons to get multiples of this. The 2 Hassansin Brothers are absolute unique to this set and it can be easily integrated into any generic Middle Eastern guards or mercenaries for hire. Plus, you are now able to own the classic skeleton and having the main hero in your collection. Dastan's heroic expression I actually don't mind getting multiples of Dastan. He is handsome and cool, compared to our dear Indy. I love the torsos, legs and even the new hair piece. The parts are really very useful for customisation. I could easily imagine having the parts to be used onto my Castle sets. At the same time, Dastan's head is a dual expression and, the other side of him is definitely not to be messed with. Dastan's scabbard for holding his 2 sharp katana This is a closer angle of Dastan's scabbard. The scabbard holder can be easily placed onto any minifigures whom has the ability to wield dual weapons and it will be nice to implement this onto a ninja minifigure, even though the hood could not be placed together. The Hassansin Brothers without their keffiyeh Without their keffiyeh, you are able to notice the sharp details of the Hassansin Brothers. Their facial apperances sure looks mean enough. I wonder how Dastan fends them off. The Hassansin Brothers backs Their back are even printed. It's very nice of TLG to have these unique affordable minifigures to be so "complete" on its front and back. Classic Skeleton Nothing much for me to highlight, but to give a warm welcome to our Classic Skeleton. Black printed horse covered with Persian Blanket pattern This is another reason why I love this set. You get a black printed horse, and I am always crazy about horses and with this print, you could probably be making this as part of the Middle Eastern Royal Cavalries. Oh well, I am really fond of this new print. Harsh Desert surroundings filled with many hidden dangers The built itself is not very exciting, but it still offers some nice basic features. I think you will need multiples of these to create a nice basic desert surroundings by breaking it apart and forming a wider terrain. Side view You discovered some treasure gems By lifting the rocks, you are able to find some treasure hidden beneath. I wonder whom hidden it there and if it's related to the movie? Spare parts These are the following spare parts, an useful Minifig Weapon bladed claw, a light bluish gray slope and a white skeleton arm. Can Dastan stand against those nasty Hassansin Brothers To conclude, this is one of the best looking valued small sets among the Prince of Persia collection. It is affordable and comes with many great bonuses such as 4 minifigures, and among the 4 minifigures, 2 of them are unique. You get plentiful of weapons, useful parts and some dark tan parts for your desert MOCs. Lastly, there is one special printed Persian horse available in this set. What else can I ask for? Summary review Playability: 9/10 (You can replay the ambush scene based on the movie, I think.) Design: 9.5/10 (Apart from the lack in building of the surroundings, but the parts and minifigures made up the big portion of this score.) Price: 9/10 (Affordable valued set with many excellent new parts.) Overall: 9.2/10 (Grab this set as many as you can and don't feel regret about it.) I gave it a "5" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  15. This is another outstanding castle set, and another small set which is highly sought for multiples and parts pack. I am really starting to feel excited for this new castle theme. Thanks KimT for sharing this with us.
  16. Great job, my son in law. Now, if time permits me, I need to rush back to the bus and grab the first aid kit to save my daughter.
  17. Real awesome nice photos down there. I am really envy of you guys, having so much fun down there, I really wish I could join you all, one day. By the way, Front, your pictures are real crisp clear. I want to see more pictures, and I am sure there are more actions which have not been uploaded yet.
  18. Ian, I am very sure of these "facts", is because of my experience of reading these kind of books. It's all pretty standard, and of course I am looking at the standard point of view where these evidences are presented today, and from there, we reached a conjunction. Ok, I may have used the wrong word to represent the scene, but what I meant by "limited time frame" is refer to if anyone of us whom owns a night action, be it sane or insane, it's logical to conclude that the action can be used only "once" for whatever reasons. Yes, we can assume anything is possible, but I am very certain it still operates on a basic framework which I falls back on.
  19. This is a nice site where we can all find NewRight's superb MOCs. I believed, individuals creating a site like this, is to maintain their portfolio in the own presentation layout, acting like his personal site to showcase his/her achievements in one neat organised catalog. Whereas, Flickr and other photo hosting websites, are meant to host photos and maybe having Flickr to add a little bit of Community Features, but it don't give you the real personal touch to organise it the way you wanted such as the skin, wallpaper and etc. I think NewRight wanted to have a focal point of contact for his supporters to browse around. This is my view though.
  20. Congratulations Oky Wan Kenobi! Now, go grab that ice cube tray from Siegfried before Hinck whacked you. Nice vig, Siegfried.
  21. Thanks to Way_Moby for sharing his first review with us, 5978 Sphinx Secret Surprise [Review 2]
  22. I just realised something about our dear Carter, and I agreed that Carter has an important role, and it's our great loss to our cause... Yes, based on the above scenes. There were 3 different ways of conducting the murders last night, namely the axe, the pistol and the flexible tree branch (or likely whatever stuff he is holding). Each night, based on the given limited time frame, it's only possible that one murder was committed by one person and there is no way one person could go away with 2 murders in one night. Therefore, I am almost very certain there is 3 killers among us... I was not following the discussion closely, but was it Carter whom suggested this Coast Guard theory? I need to trust the right people, and based on the given results, I will like to think the remaining Coast Guard officer is highly innocent. Somewhere in this course of life, we need to place trust onto some parties, otherwise how are we going to work together to eliminate the rest of the insane parties. I am not asking all of you to believe that Seth or myself to be sane in an automatic process, it's your call and judgement and I know it's not completely right to "assume" the characters' profile division but from the crazy events last night, I am following my gut feelings. Thanks Shirley. I strongly agreed. I also make an appeal to our neutral killer to work with the sanes. You could not want to live it through with those lunatics in this abandoned island. You can join us and helps to identify those crazy people out there. As what I have mentioned above, we need to start trusting people somewhere somehow, but your point above has triggered my thoughts and I agreed with your statement. It's very highly possible that anyone of us down here could catch insanity somehow. Let's all pray that such epidemic won't spread to our clear minds.
  23. This is total madness. I can't imagine what has happened last night.. 4 deaths in one night! That's almost impossible, but we have clearly understand that there are 3 killers among us, and I am almost certain that among the 3 killers, there ought to be a insane, sane and neutral killers hiding among us. Clearly, we don't know whom action represents whom at this point in time, but certainly for sure, I urge the sane killer to be very careful and not to kill the innocents one at night. However, I find it very interesting about the Coast Guard theory whom one of us put across, and somehow or another, can I assume that Seth Diaz, the last remaining Coast Guard Officer to be highly innocent since 2 of the officers are dead, and that sly scumy Drake Johnson is scum. I will like to believe he is innocent at this moment, and it's reasonably to assume that Drake Johnson whom is insane, is the one whom sabotage the Coast Guard helicopter. Let's plan our next step very carefully. If anyone have any findings or observations, please point us to the right direction.
