Review - 6055 - Prisoner Convoy
WhiteFang replied to castlestrike666's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice review. I bought an used set and played with it as well. I really like the minifigs variety along with the amount of horses made available for this carriage. However, I find the prison carriage quite small but the detail of this classic castle set is very much captivating. Nowadays, you don't see 4 horses pulling a carriage and for this realism point, this is one of the main reasons why people like this. -
NINJA Review: 6093 Flying Ninja's Fortress
WhiteFang replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Clonie, brilliant review. I have read the entire review finished and I must admit that there are loads of intensive details for readers to read upon. The images are very well taken, accompanied by interesting illustrations such as the Ninja Glider, Ninja Wall Scaling, videos demonstrations etc. I really love this set very much, followed by the Emperor Stronghold. Both of these sets are simply the Crown Jewels of the past Ninja theme and despite of the big large piece of walls which many don't really fancy. For myself I think it fits just nice. Overall, a clear "5" for my taste. -
The Cad Bane's speeder is better than I thought and it's definitely worthwhile getting it. Thanks grogall for sharing this large image with us.

LEGO 8684 Minifigures Series 2 (Official Pictures)
WhiteFang replied to GRogall's topic in Special LEGO Themes
3 cheers for the Minifigs Series 2 pics! Thanks grogall! You are my hero. Now I will have to sit back and enjoy these new images, plus this is totally amazing. I thought we have an existing discussion for Series 2?? -
As long it's something related to Town and City, go ahead with it. Peppermint_M??? Is it Inside_Iz? If so, I have taken a look at her entry and I was figuring whether this 2 are separate vigs or stacked above one another? However, I will like to emphasis that only one vig per entry for each member. Izzy, could you please make the adjustment accordingly? Right now, I have evaluated the first 3 entries and I will take a closer look at the rest of it later. At this moment, I only took a quick glance at the rest of the entries and there are some great stuff down there.

Jedi Duel - The Chosen One Tournament - Stage II
WhiteFang replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow, I made it through. CallMePie, that was some tough duel which we had earlier. It was a good duel. By the way, thanks Pedro for organising this, until now. I hope it won't be long for us before we embrace semi-finals. -
I am looking forward to everyone's participations. I will let you know the verdict after the discussion with regards to stickered or printed decals. No, you may not include the actual minifig inside the display but includes other range of minifigs inside for illustration. No, digital entries are not allowed. Only one entry per minifig vignette per member.

Eurobricks/Classic-Town.net Collectible LEGO Minifigures Series 1 Town Building Contest What You're Building Create a town based vignette where you could display any one of the 16 new Collectible Minifigs from Series 1. It's just that simple. I'm not even going to provide examples for risk of taking a good idea, but I'll tell you this: Imagination is the key. People vote for creative entries, not the same old boring scenes we all expect. Do something surprising, just make sure it's town based. Where Would You Display One of These? Spaceman ~ Crash Test Dummy ~ Cheer Leader ~ Tribal Hunter ~ Robot ~ Ninja ~Clown ~ Magician Forestman ~ Wrestler ~ Caveman ~ Deep Sea Diver ~ Nurse ~ Skater ~ Zombie ~ Cowboy *IMPORTANT NOTE: ONE ENTRY PER POST PER MEMBER AND BE SURE TO MENTION WHICH MINIFIG YOU BUILT YOUR VIGNETTE FOR* The Rules Build a vignette. A vignette measures 8 studs by 8 studs and has no height limit. A reasonable overhang is allowed to accommodate tree limbs or minifig accessories, but may not exceed more than 2 studs outside the base. This is a town contest, so make sure your scene is town based. Be creative, every figure in the collection could belong in a town setting, if you think outside the box. No minifigs are required. You don't need to own the figure you create a home for, and it will not improve your chances if you do. You may not include the official minifig or it's new accessories/parts in your official entry pictures. You may use accessories that already existed, like the bow, but not new ones like the needle, for example. No clone brands or custom parts. There is no parts limit as long as it all fits within the vignette. One entry per person. An entry must include a picture (no larger than 800x600) showing the vignette without the minifig you built it for. Include the name (type) of that minifig. Other minifigs may appear in the pictures. You may include up to 2 more images following the same rules. If you choose to take additional pictures, you may link to an outside gallery. Digital backgrounds are allowed. The contest begins now and will end on the 6th of June, 2010 at 0000hrs (GMT+8). Voting will begin immediately after that and will last 7 days. In the event of a tie, the Staff will vote to decide the winner(s) and all Staff decisions are final. Any violation of the rules will be subject to disqualification. The Voting! At the end of the entry period, a posting topic will appear listing the eligible entries. Members who joined prior to the start of the contest will then be able to post how they wish to use their 3 points to vote for the entries they like best. A single entry may receive all 3 points, or the points may be divided between 2 or 3 entries, however the voter wishes. Please use this thread for any further discussions or questions pertaining to this contest and most of all ... Have fun!
