  1. It was for Target's X-Mas seasonal toys, so you're not gonna have much luck at a brick and mortar Target. But Target online might and Lego stores and S@H should still carry it. Edit- Looks like its no longer listed on Target's site and is sold out at Lego's. Looks like your best shot is Brinklink or Ebay
  2. I would like to see an official take on the Z-95, maybe make it Mara Jade's and a V-Wing Air speeder to fight the TIE-D, they released with the ultimate TIE set.
  3. Could be that Lego is using some of Aeralight's tanks.
  4. Aye, I've been thinking overhauling it completely using Ashoka's as a base, but this one as it is now is the same length/width/etc. as the original Obi Won's Delta-7 set and features many parts in the same layout.
  5. That unbelievably awesome build.
  6. Great review, I picked up 2 of them, myself, to go with the MTT. They do make nice army droid builders too.
  7. Here are the often requested Outrider and UCS T-16 Skyhopper instructions.
  8. Updated and added deeplinked photos
  9. Updated and added photos and rearranged the order in the top post.
  10. Comparison shots between Bigg's Red Three and Corran's Rogue Nine
  11. On the back of the SP ship, there looks to be a "bacta tank" could that be our new jail cells?
  12. Thanks, the other part is the Lego in joke, since its made from the first Lego X-Wing, its the precursor to the 2004/2006 version and I didn't have the heart to completely scrap it. Mrb18's Z-95 is really awesome though and is spot on for the pic you posted. My SW background comes from the EU novels (pre NJO) and comics, and all the editions of the role playing game and various video games.
  13. Yes, I know the differences, but the Z-95 is one of the most modified fighters in the galaxy and unless they are a part of a fleet or built at the same time, most tend to be unique. Early Z-95's also had S-Foils and opening wings. There is also the case of the Z-95's from Han Solo and the Corporate Sector, that look nothing like the versions we see today. Do a google image search and see what I mean.
  14. Funny thing is, the first time I saw R2-R7, the first thing that came to me was: "This would be perfect for Whistler". The hard part was coming up with Corran, as is I would like to replace torso with a green one with the normal pilot pattern opposed to the A-Wing pattern. The Mutt head had the right amount of "cockyness" to it and I had a couple CW Anakin hair pieces laying around, though a brown Mutt hair piece would work too. Another thing with Corran, is he is one of those character that's appearance changes, often due to him going undercover either back when he was in Cor Sec (Corellian Space Police, hehe), for different Rogue Op's or later Jedi missions. I would also like to do the rest of the rogues (human ones at least, mainly due to lack of alien Lego pieces), I got a Jensen made, Tycho (Actually the young A-Wing pilot that leads off the TIEs in the Deathstar in RotJ) and Hobbie are up next, and I can use my Biggs (using a Sirius Black head) as a stand in for Gavin Darklighter.
  15. Here is my take on the Z-95 Headhunter, when they released the new version of the X-Wing in 2004, I decided to turn the old version into this, which didn't take much work, but since then I've changed a few parts here and there, its made up of old gray and red. The pic's are little old, I'll likely take some new ones at some point. Front Left Side Right Side Rear Top Attack Position
  16. The Astromech's name is Whistler, see title of the first pic :D
  17. I had to come into work today, when I get home later tonight, I'll take some comparison shots between '04, '06, this, and my other custom X-Wings
  18. The purpose of no gray was to make it look "new" and to make it different from the original. Originally it was just gonna be white with the same detailing as my other custom X-wings, but I decided to go all out and added the extra green. Also the X-Wings have always been called white, its weathering and carbon scoring that gives them the "gray" look, same with the tan.
  19. Based off the covers of the X-Wing novels, where its the standard alliance white, with green rogue markings, opposed to the Cor Sec green X-Wing with dark green markings. The parts are from bricklink and and is mainly white and I used the 2006 X-Wing as a guide for replacing the red with green. I do plan on replacing the light blay hing piece with a white one when it arrives. Corran is made up of an A-Wing pilot body and legs, Mutt's head from Indiana Jones, CW Anakin's hair, standard small SW Blaster, and blank SW pilot helmet. not shown is the blue lightsaber he finds in book 3 of the X-Wing Series. Whistler is an R2-R7 from the Republic Cruiser. Corran and Whistler The X-Wing Front Left Right Rear Top Attack Position
  20. Corran Horn, his astromech Whistler, and heck throw in his X-Wing, hehe.
  21. I put it close to 60 to 70 studs long, the front section though is around 30.
  22. The change could be to reflect toys from a possible season 2 series, which is not unheard of.
  23. Here they are, dunno why the links went dead again. It would be cool if we could get them archived here at the site. http://www.4shared.com/file/79352237/9c17e9e4/Outrider.html http://www.4shared.com/file/79352238/ca8f475/UCS_T-16.html
  24. Its a great set(got 2 of them and the original that came with Yoda's hut), but what bugs me and how Lego got it wrong, I dunno, but Wedge's X-Wing is Red 2, Bigg's was Red-3.
