Time once again to sing songs to honor our lost team members who died bravely fighting the Shadows. On another note.....can we vote yet? The remaining Shadow was seen last night attacking poor innocent Quincy. And this really bothers me... Why on earth (or under earth as we currently are) would you ever wish our vig was dead? Sending the vig out last night was not a option, we are too low on alive townie members. If there is a SK, he may still try to win by killing the last man standing. We believe we may have blocked the SK last night. Not sending the vig out every night has benefits.

I did bring up other possibilities, namely that shadows traded in last nights kill for a recruit. If that is the case then we lost a townie to their side last night unless they tried to convert a PR. In which case that would give them the identity of a town block member and that person would be tonights target. So in either case it isn't good for town. The consenses in the town block is that you are with the shadows and last night I did indeed block you from taking out a townie.

There are some very good points here, about the night kills. I am going back to look at the previous days more closely. I think there is a pattern here. However, if the SK has the option to not kill till the end of the game then that may be in play here. I

We have a very strong indication that I did indeed block the scum killer last night due to no kill from them. I did not send the vig out and if there is an SK he still hasn't shown his hand. However, we do need to address the possibility that the scum have a recruit, and last night decided to use that instead of the kill. Also the kill will pass to the remaining scum tonight. In addition to the strong possibility of an SK now we could lose two townies tonight to night kills. We need to all be more active to discuss these issues before the voting starts. Who is possibly the third-party and what role do they have? Who is the final scum? In resposnse to Ray's above post, if they used the recruit then as well, then we could be looking at two more scum than we think or a cult. In resposnse to Julia, from what I know from a past life, PR's can't be recruited only vanilla townies.

I agree with this. The night action results have come in and we are comparing notes. We are mostly sure about the scum killer, but are disscussing the implications of the third-party and last scum. Since there are we no kills last night it would make sensce to block the same person again and lynch the last scum or third-party. However there is one idea I would like to point out from another life where I was hidden in the shadows and near the end of days we gave up the night kill one night to recruit an already cleared vanilla townie to the dark side. The shadows dominated that life......

Well this has certainly been an interesting day. Should we sing battle songs ? A few things of interest, from the first rule it would seem there is a third party possibility. And for the record my block was successful last night and there was no shadow kill. I am awaiting reports from the rest of the town block for night results.

Ok, just hypothetically here, what if you are town as you say and we don't lynch you tomorrow then you would be one more townie still alive to lynch scum tomorrow. Lusk has not said anything in his defense or even acknowleged the votes on him. We only have a limited time to turn this around and I think it is too late (with time zones involved). I really need to know what other think (I have limited time due to borrowed computer). This seems rushed.

Let's assume with two scum left, and Elijah being the godfather and a scum blocker/protector role is also left then he would have been protected or me blocked so he could use the scum kill. That is my thinking on that issue. Lusk has been silent and has not addressed the issue of the votes on him yet. Assuming he is the scum blocker/protector then I can block Elijah tonight.

The block was kept apart until everyone felt comfortable coming together, except two members who were kept out as backup. I have always been aware of the possibility of a leak in the town block, but really when everyone came to me with claims on Day 2, I put all the role claims to a test night 2 to see who could be telling the truth and who was lying. That is how we caught Duke, he tried to claim a role so I set up a test and he failed it. Everyone else has passed scrutiny the same way, unless Perce had a role and didn't claim before the Day 1 lynch, then the block could have been infiltrated by a scum member. Honestly we have lynched townies because some people have posted so little it is hard to get a read on them. And one of the night investigation results came back as 'unsuccessful'. Last night I blocked Elijah and my results came back as 'unsuccessful'. We are trying our best behind the scenes, however we needed more in the day thread to work with. The last part was in character and referencing that with your experience you are good enough to be read as town and then turn up as scum. My role is town blocker. Telling who and who didn't know Gale was part of the town block, puts the block at risk and doesn't help find scum. Trust me when I say they are all legit town. But I am really starting to wonder about you Julia being a part of our glorious choir. Just because you have been singing longer than me Julia doesn't mean catching shadows was any easier back in your day. I have heard tales of previous adventures where catching shadows proved just as difficult then as it is now, when those of more experience blend in so well with the rest of the choir. Interesting that you use rolecop here for why Gale was taken out, I just assumed by his lack of day participation the scum figured he was quiete because he had a role. We had good reason to believe the scum rolecop was dead after Duke was taken out. What would you have me reveal of the town block? Names and roles? Who did what on what night? I feel that would put the rest of the town block at risk. The scum are getting desperate because the town block is still alive and functioning. First you say you doubt I am scum and then you suggest I am planing on killing everone who isn't in the town block? I agree about the godfather, but it isn't me or anyone in the town block. Unless we are dealing with a cultafia, then the last two scum have been very good at hiding. We feel it is Elijah and Lusk, or maybe it is Elijah and you since you seem to want detailed information about the town block.

I am aware of the night targets for each of my town block members. I also 'verified' all of them early to make sure they were town......unless we are dealing with an alignment change cultafia....then we should only have two more shadows left.

This really bothers me, you are convinced we have an SK because it was in the story yesterday. We have always been told there are no clues in the pictures (and I assume stories). Yes the vig didn't kill last night, but there was only one kill and one lynch so where are you getting two kills from? And if the stories did contain clues the why the journal of Dr Wynn? And what does it mean he can't be killed when near his ship?.....and needing/missing a companion.....and then the bit about nothing left of the poor Doctor?.......what is he an insectosoid cult member or leader?

Well, this is a bad way to start the day. We will sing grand songs to honor the dead like my ancestors did. Just a heads up, Gale was part of the town block, he was active behind the scenes......but not here, which is why I imagine the scum took him out last night by process of elimination to get rid of the town block. Why, if you feel I am town don't give up......unless you have been offing townies every night, except one night when there was only one kill and that was us. Scum kill every night where as the SK may have limited ability so I was convinced he was the shadow killer and we needed to keep him around and block every night. The town block agreed it was the best course of action . I am not, I really am the town blocker and we do still have a town block and the town vig stayed home last night which is why there was only one kill. So options for today....lynch Elijah or lynch Lusk? And here is a bit of interesting information....I blocked Elijah last night...it was unsuccessful. The first unsuccessful block I have had the whole time we have been wandering around inside this mountain.

I agree with this completely, a big box set to look forward to under next year's Christmas tree. One could only hope...... Very well done, the colors, playability and sheer size of this make it a superb MOC!
