  1. Some new update's from the SL Gabon. The count meter off the parts is stunning so far 2500 liftarms 3500 black pins 7500 blue long pins 750 gray 1 1/3 pins 2000 bricks, plates and tiles. And i am only half way . Update photo's.
  2. Like normal your wrong again. At some point i want to go on with building and i juse what i have in stock and not waiting to BL orders
  3. I love build tug boats and choose mine ship's off colors and details and than i look if its possible in lego, also with every new moc i want give the hulls a better shape in studdless. The RPA 15 gives me good remembers off mine wedding and want build that ship and lucky i could buy all the last dark blue liftarms at BL. Mine favorite tug boats are build by Damen Shipyards and the SL Gabon is a brand new one and is deliverd last december to Smit Lamnalco. 3 weeks ago it's arrived in Gabon (Africa) for a 5 years contract, to do some work for the oil offshore there. When i choose a ship than i make contact with the shipyard ore the owner and ask for some draws and they give it to me. When they see what i build than they loved it, and the rest is simple( big men with toys.......) I hope around the 0.09 cent per part Zblj
  4. Thanks Zblj, Read mine first post in this topic and you will find the answer
  5. Best Thebicyclestory, I build the ships for my self, but if there is any intrest to sell it and get a good price for it, then it's no problem and give me a good promotion. The most parts comes from Bricklink You have complete right Zblj. The build and designing off the RPA 15 was fun to do and it's feel that i lost mine baby . Lucky the price what i got for it was so good that i can build SL Gabon for it, also the good promotion and the many trips makes it ok
  6. Today arrived a big post box from the Port of Rotterdam and it whas a acryl show case for the RPA 15. Now is the ship protected from dust and dirt and next week it's gone . Lucky the new owner gona show it with proud. Greets Edwin.
  7. Your outriggers looks great Effe and big
  8. You lucky bastard. I have try it and lucky the hull is already strong enough to hold it here the picture off the RPA 15 on the SL Gabon.
  9. The Sl Gabon is cheaper to build than the RPA 15 because off the color, and i can build inn a engine room but it's so big 1/3 off the length from the ship below the waterline and nobody seens it, olso it lose than so much off it's stiffnes, that the studded deck will crack . If you sponserd a 10 meter desk and the parts , than NO PROBLEM
  10. Very great work Sheepo and in one word i love it.
  11. Thanks Tim for your reaction, and i like olso the technic aspect off Lego, but at nature i am a model builder and before mine dark age i make N scale (1/160) train layouts. Because off mine work i have to much whit cars and trucks, that i want to build something different and get mine head clear.
  12. Not jet, the hull is not finnisht and the inner struction to, mabey later on this week to holt the 18 kg off the RPA 15. The SL Gabon is just about 36% bigger than the RPA 15.
  13. Later on this week i get a lot of parts from BL and can go further on the hull. Thanks for the reactions so far .
  14. I loved to build ships and nobody doing that. Two years ago i only build cars and trucks and havey machinenary, but mine love is building ships
  15. Best EB members. I starded a new moc and it's gona be even a bigger one than mine last one. It's a ship again and is build in mine combination studless and studded style and is gona be build at scale 1 to 30. The scaled dimensions are: Lenght O.A: 1.36 m Beam O.A: 0.39 m I think that i need 35000 parts for it. The owner of the brand new SL Gabon( delivery date december 2012) Smit Lamnalco have a lot off intrest to make mine model their own and have seen mine last Moc the RPA 15 and loved it. They wand first seeing some progres to make it a deal. In this topic i will let you now how i build this one. I hope you like this project the same as i do. Greets Edwin. Orginal: the SL Gabon build by Damen Shipyards Stan Tug 4011. Start from the hull At the last picture the RPA 15 next to mine new one. The RPA 15 gona be deliverd next week to his new owner.
