  1. That and Roderick should have been defeated by that attack (x2 because of Darkness vs. Holy, x2 again due to Fragile.) Unfortunately, that means that Bal gets no Gold (sorry, buddy!), but on the plus side, no one after Skopios took damage, so you don't have to recalculate anything. (Aside from restoring everyone's health and possibly the effects, since according to the narration Roderick was wearing the Amulet.)
  2. OOC: Skopios deals guaranteed damage equal to Alexis' Level, so (22 x 2) x 2 = 88 Damage = Roderick is dead. Will that affect the boosts happening to the General or not? Also, Arthur has 3 Defense, and the Gray Wizard should have healed him fully anyway. Arthur cries out in pain from the Back Row, but feels the Gray Wizard's healing wash over him, restoring him to full vitality once more. "Keep it up, we've almost won!" This said, Arthur sends a Darkness Spell at the General. "You all must now face the General's power. We may no longer aid you. Fight well, Heroes." Triad does nothing, but remains in the Back Row.
  3. >_< I'm already 200 in the hole for Q35, and then you bring me this? I think I'll do some sort of deal, "my next two SHIELD rolls go to you" or something of the sort.
  4. OOC: I think he still has it. Bal can now attack with Honor and Glory from the Back Row and deal normal damage, though, since Roddy is Fragile. "Oh yeah. Right. In that case, it'd probably be best if we gave Cronk a dose of Luck. I think we'd all appreciate the presence of his Angel."
  5. OOC: Wow, I'm so glad we had Hex support there. Haldor, Captain McColt, I think it would be best if we tried to Bless Triad, so she may continue to target the General." Arthur steps back and sends a Darkness spell at Roderick. "Do what you think is best, leaders. We can continue to keep the General occupied." Triad keeps her blade as a blade and attacks the General from the Back Row.
  6. Sandy has already stated that the intended usage, in this case, would be Round.
  7. OOC: Assuming we use the same Battle Order as last round (I put Skopios right before Alexis, so he can deal damage AND perform a Summon Burst if she rolls SHIELD again this Round... Cronk v. Heal Self (back row) Tesni v. Roderick (front) Arthur v. Roderick (Scroll of Frailty) Skopios v. General Alexis v. General (Darkness, Back row) Triad v. do nothing Bal v. General (Honor and Glory, Front Row) Bal v. General (Honor and Glory, Front Row) Sasha v. General (Front Row) Alexis v. General (Darkness, Back Row) Haldor v. General (Heavy Metal Rod, Front Row) Gray heals Triad
  8. Oh god, PLEASE let this be true!
  9. Not really, as Sandy does it, Stunned is essentially a 1-Round Petrified.
  10. "We will do nothing for now. We would like to be healed. This way, we may safely keep the general occupied when his Splinter is in control." "I'll use my Scroll of Fragility on Roderick from the Back Row. Tensi, of course, can take Roderick, but everyone else should target the General, so he has more opportunities to harm Roderick."
  11. Before I figured out the extended storyline for Arthur, I had planned to have him killed at the end of the final Wren Quest, by getting in the way of Wren's plans (i.e. he interferes in the summoning ritual, killimg him and causing the ritual to go wrong). Before I realized I wanted to write Chaos into Arthur's backstory, I envisioned Arthur going on a Quest similar to Q43, with Arthur sacrificing himself to save the two boys instead of the party being forced to choose one or the other. Either way, now that I've figured out Arthur's connections, he'll be staying around for quite some time now.
  12. Why would you want to break it?!? EDIT: Dang it, Pie, ninja-ing me as usual!
  13. No, that title belongs to Haldor. And no, not just because I need that Plaything. Thormanil is a min-maxer to rival Atramor, Arthur, and Docken, though.
  14. Graaaah! After getting it right all through the first post, too! Sorry, Zeph. EDIT: Doc, you forgot one important thing in your UQ calculations...you have no AoE abilities. (Well, Althior can do AoE, but it's not as useful as, say, an Assassin. ) EDIT 2: Man, SO jealous of that Titanic Axe, even though I'll never be able to use it. You do realize that's essentially a 1/6 Assassination chance for Barbarians, Alchemists, Beast Warriors, and Infiltrators, right? Also, why ISN'T the Infiltrator Expert Class sheet up in the Training Room yet?
  15. "Face Sir Roderick. We should be the only one to attack the General. This way, none of you will be harmed by his soul-disjointing abilities."
  16. "We regret to do this, General. But it must be done for the sake of our party." Thus said, Triad attacks the General from the back row, keeping her blade as a dagger for now. "Sir Cronk, we are safe. Our soul cannot be Lost. Focus on Roderick, so you remain unharmed. If the General is not freed by Roderick's defeat, we may deal with him then."
  17. I just have to say, you have the prettiest signature EVER. :D

  18. Does the same thing. Oh yes, I have to be there. Bonus points if the Amulet makes a reappearance, as it'll let me do something insane with Arthur, granted the logic of everything.
  19. OOC: Arthur drank the Nostrum as soon as Sasha gave it to him; I said it in the post in which I first said I'd pick the flower. "Fellow Heroes! It will be best if I do not use my spells just yet; if I can land a hit on both these foes at once, we will have much better odds." This said, Arthur attacks Roderick physically with the Cat O' Nine Tails from the Back Row.
  20. Well, yeah, it makes sense to us, but I'm thinking of how it will look in the Library chronicle. "And lo, the heroes spotted a pink flower, and at once all scrambled to prepare; corks came out of alchemical brews, the Clerics and Mages dug wildly through their packs in search of Tonics, and all the Heroes readied their weapons for a fight of epic proportions. And finally, when the team was prepared, only after their wounds were bound and covered, their blades sharpened, and their senses strained to their peak, the Sorcerer Arthur stepped forward...and picked the flower."
  21. says, "Aww...bye, Tammo! :'-("

  22. Where I was ACTUALLY going with that... Also, anyone else find it hilarious how much effort and preparation the Heroes are going to just to pick a flower?
  23. "Simply waiting for everyone to prepare themselves. As soon as Gray Wizard responds to your request, and as soon as Sasha lets me know if I may take her Nostrum,, I will pick the flower." EDIT: OOC: The Raw Meat permanently adds 5 HP to Alexis' maximum, if I recall.
  24. Which reminds me, now that I know which crown piece Brunt used, I need to make a Quest 38-only avatar for Arthur. Interestingly, I know exactly which style of hair I'll be using for Arthur, but I doubt anyone will get to see the actual color, since...well, suffice to say there is a reason that Arthur refuses to take of his hat.
  25. "Oh, before I forget," Arthur says suddenly, unlimbering his Healing Staff and offering it to the Gray Wizard, "take this. It allows you to heal without using Ether. Do you think you'd be able to use it?"
