Only the Knights Of Mpya Stedor, the City Guards and persons who have the permission may wear a weapon inside the Inner City Walls. Breaking this rule will result in PUBLIC EXCECUTION! There is absolute no need to wear a weapon in the innercity. Persons who think they need a bodyguard can always use one of the Knights of Mpya Stedor! 2. Official Traders may have only 2 guards of their own. To defend themself, they got the permission to be equipped with a small sword or a dagger. Adding an extra guard will been seen as provocation and will result in diplomatic trouble, bannishment and replacement. 3. Not-Official Traders may have NO guards with them in the city walls. Also they may only trade with inhabitants of Mpya Stedor and the Official Trader of their Guild or Faction. If they are caught trading with a trader of another Guild or Faction, it will result in a fine of 1000 gold coins. This is to prevent diplomatic trouble between 2 Guilds or Factions due some some dangerous traders (NOT's). 4. Trading with inhabitants of Mpya Stedor is only allowed at the market. Everybody may trade with them (townsmen, NOT's and OT's). Trading outside those areas will be considered illegal and if caught, see rule #3 5. In Mpya Stedor Innercity Bay are only rowboats allowed. Tradingvessels will be parked outside the small bay in the Great Mpya Stedor Bay. As this bay is defended by our navy, those tradingvessels are safe here. Breaking this rule will result in nothing as it is impossible for vessels to enter the undeep waters of the small bay. 6. Tradingvessels will have to make a list of the amount of soldiers who are on the ship. Those soldiers are not allowed to disembark (except 2 of them, see rule #2). When there are more quards discovered by the control, the vessel will have not the right to enter the greater bay of Ghuba-ya Biashara. 7. Robbery of othermans property (or property of Mpya Stedor) will result in slavery for a period linear to the value of the robbed items. 8. Fights are only allowed in Inn's or outside the citywalls. When a discussion is happening, ask the cityguards to be the diplomat. Fighting at public places will result in 5 months slavery. 9. Insulting the Guild of Kaliphlin or one of it's vassals will result in slavery for 6 months. 10. Rebellion, or planning of rebellion will result in 120 months slavery and lifelong slavery for the leader. 11. Visiting military places without permission will result in 24 months slavery. 12. Traders, residents, travellers, ... from another Guild are protected by the City of Mpya Stedor. Every kind of assissantion attempt on them will be considered as an attempt against a citizen of Mpya Stedor and will result in PUBLIC EXCECUTION! to stay in or create a sort of SouthEastern Siccus Badlands dialect where many words end with "A": Kisiwa Kuchomwa (Roasted Island) or you can do it like Kuchomwa Islands (which sounds better than previous one)

What u think of: Ghuba-ya Biashara? (Swahili for Bay-of Trade) and for the desert between: Jangwa Tupu (Empty Desert in Swahili) => but other propositions are also good

So let me introduce myself: I am Lord Damaximus, leader of the lands of Ximus, far far away, and I have already travelled the globe and thousand seas. Doing this, many brave warriors joined my army and due the mix of all those nationalities, we faced many great adventures which we all survived. Arriving in the lands of Historica, I am offering to the Guild of Kaliphlin my loyalty and trade. This is my army when we arrived in this beautiful Guild. Once we have settled us, the most powerful warriors I got will go their own way and start their own armies to defend Kaliphlin! The surrounding mountains are a great defending advantage for the tradingships. And I'll call this place: Mpya Stedor, named after one of the most legendary cities in my homeland. I am planning to buy Eldorado and Trading Post next semester, first I'll have to do studentwork for the money as it is really expensive when I look to bricklink...

I prefer the yellow skinned minifigs too, but I have adopted the fleshies in my "pirateworld". I just pretend they are the original habitants of another continent which the yellows have colonised. Doing it like that, gives even more interesting idea's for MOC's etc... Maybe I am wrong, but I thought the first fleshies were the NBA-players?

I like your technic for the hullpart! and small ships are not always bad, as long as a pirate (minifig) can walk it's good :D

A few days ago, I accidentally discovered: pirates.wikia.com/wiki It's everything about PotC. I was pretty surprised there is PotCOnline and reading some pages on pirates.wikia, it looks like there are many new caracters and ships in here. So I am pretty sure TLC can find thousands of ideas from here as well... But on the opposite side, not everybody knows about POTC-online and they wouldn't get the clue where it comes from if they see a set based on this game in the shop. Butbut I didn't saw all those new stuff of Star Wars (so I only saw the original 6 movies) and I still bought some sets from those new movies, just because some of the minifigures are really cool. Adapting this to the POTC-line: as long as it looks really cool, people will buy it. And if I was Disney, I would make a deal with TLC where the POTCO-sets are cheaper so more people will discover POTCO and Disney will gain more money from it... Oh well this is just what I think :D

Somewhat same here :p I almost had nothing of the Pirates as child (I am one of the no-Pirates generation (born 1991, became an "adult" around 2007) so I already bought the Carribean Clipper and Armada Flagship. Now one of the next days I'll buy the QAR as it is perfect for my story (planning to be released on this forum next month). But I only got somewhat the problem of the sizes: AF (1 canon), CC (2 canons) vs QAR (6 canonholes and 3 canons). Not really a fear match. And something else: does someone here who lives in Flanders, can tell me where I or my brother can buy the Imperial Flagship and/or the Black Pearl????? The only toyshop where I saw him was in The Netherlands, but I had not enough money with me then :(

Last days I am visiting some shops in the area to find some Piratestuff of the Pirates II-line (Today I found 2 Imperial Guard sets (3€), woehoew!!!). In some shops they still got a lot of POTC, while in other shops, almost everything is sold out. To be more concrete, the shops where the price is like the price on Lego.com, almost everything is sold, while the shops where it's a lot more expensive, they still got plenty of POTC-sets. (For an example: I bought London Escape for 50 Euro, in most shops it's 65(!!!!) euro). It has nothing to do with the popularity of the POTC-line, but just because most shops wanted to gain extra money from it, which failed. Now I am waiting a few months so I can buy the missing POTC-sets for a nice bargain! :D One thing is still missing in every shop: the Black Pearl, the only POTC ship I really want :p I guess/hope they are going to launch him together with new sets of POTC. And let's dream now: wouldn't it be awesome for some POTC-sets with VOC-soldiers in it? as a preview for an upcomming pirate-theme around the VOC :D

I found the topic after I posted it :D but I don't think I gonna buy 2 of those sets as I don't really like having some exclusive minifigures 2 times :D

Still wondering how the megablock they chosed Ghent as place :p More on topic: I don't see the pictures anymore of the Red-Blue contests earlier this topic :( As for myself, atm I got 13 Red Coats, 14 Blue Coats, 11 Armada, 6 natives, 12 red pirates, 12 blue pirates, 9 green pirates and 10 flesh pirates :D as my small pic shows, I am the captain of the Red Pirates and I privateer for the Royal Navy! Oh well, the real reason why I support for the red coats is simply: England is almost the only faction in western Europe who didn't have colonised Flanders :D Why did Napoleon always put his hand in his coat?
