  1. Love them! the double halfpin would be my favorite piece if it existed!
  2. well, honestly i have not yet given it a full test drive. i've tried it out only inside my house and i haven't got anything to make obstacles with. however i've altered the chassis a little. sort of made a new suspension. new pictures will come up shortly.
  3. Greetings! I just thought i'd pop in here with my fist MOC for the public. And i also need your help identifying what model this truck is. yes, it is a trial truck and as such it should be able to take on the challanges my garden has for it. The truck features: - Pendular axles with shock absorbers. - 1 x PF XL motor for propulsion. - 1 x PF Servo motor. - 1 x PF Batterybox. - 2 x PF Lights.(note: as i do not own Lego PF Lights i have crafted my own ones.) here are some images: You can find more pictures at my Bricshelf Folder
  4. i like the design^^ can't wait to see it done :P
  5. ehm.... do you use a diferensial between them? if so it's only natural if you hold the axle/car(or whatever) above ground. try holding it against the ground so that the power can transfer equaly on the ground.
  6. this is cool actually. it's a different approach to the contest. i like your way of thinking simple!
  7. in the game the car is a scrapcar that has been put into drivable state!
  8. makes you think that a "fendt-green"(same greeen colour as fendt tractors) would look stunning on the unimog itself!
  9. you're right all he has to do is convert the concept to a trailer :P
  10. it's for the boogie axle :P when there is enough weight on the truck it will lower the axle that sits in the very rear of the truck :P sorry for my bad english there!
  11. heh....... i'd rather see a Massey Ferguson, Claas or maybe a Fendt :P i personally don't like John Deere :P
  12. this thing is sexy even for people who don't play Starcraft :P
  13. awesome :P love the design love the mechanics :P pure and simple ^^ can't wait to try and make one :P Good job!!!
  14. well there is none.... but all i did was check out all the pictures from 10 to 29 in the BS gallery. and got to building :P you'll manage somehow :P
  15. i've had the same problem about the steering slipping gears and not being laggy an unprecice, so i searched the web for 3 hrs straight and found this. Pcility's brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=487084 i like his steering better because it does not disturb the beauty of the cabin and it's fun to rebuild/modify the front axle :P hope this will help you out^^ and to the people out there! it's not that i don't like the whole idea of the steering being in the cabin. it's just that i peronally like the modified axle more because it's fun to build it, it looks nice and it performs better in MY case. but all in all for those it works for it's a great simple system.
  16. Love this attachment :P i've made one myself from your pictures.... however i'm sure it's not exactly the same as i didn't get to see the middle part. thanks for a nice addon to this nice truck :P
  17. hehe... maybe... anyway as thay say here in norway:"there are several ways to rome."^^
  18. 1: because with all the gears it is very sloppy and laggy. however if you use the one i'm using it's for one more compact second it.s less laggy and its not so sloppy... 2: because thats the one tiger was using... and he didn't like it because of the reasons i've described!
  19. The problem is that it is a bit laggy and slow... now tiger i have motorized mine too and i also had this steering system until i came across this link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=487084 i copied the steering from this guy, pcility i believe is his nickname. so just follow the pictures and build this it's the easiest and best design i've managed to find. Thumbs up for pcility!!! all credits to him!!!!
  20. people use Actuators because it's easier to remote control :P
  21. i took some pictures for you and anyone who is interested instead of explaining it in text XD.... Now keep in mind that this is the simplest way possible without soldering as i didn't want to ruin my PF lights. the positive thing is that it's totally revertable as to PeterieB's one that i think is better and cleaner. Anyway here's the pictures: this is the connector on My PF Lights Here's the 9v battery connector with red and black wire. This is how you chould connect the wires on the 9v battery connector to the PF connector. This is how it should look! And finnally proof that it works...( sry for the bad picture i couldn't take a picture of the LEDs directly.) Hope this will help you guys^^
