  1. I for one am very pleased with the choice of minifigure included in the Batman Visual Dictionary, we finally get one of Batman's 'special' suits in LEGO. And what better to fight those villains with than electricity? Like Iron-Man said a few posts back, a Marvel Visual Dictionary would be a great opportunity to release a Nick Fury minifigure (let's hope they take it!).
  2. Unfortunately, I've seen that part before. My brother received a Mega Bloks skateboarding set for his birthday years ago, and those parts were the backpacks for the figures.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UthMilTm0AA&list=HL1334598510&feature=mh_lolz So, I thought I'd share my CUUSOO project with you guys over at Eurobricks. This is really a MOC topic in which my creations are displayed (in the video), and so I'd like some constructive criticism on the models, what I can do to improve them. (Here is the CUUSOO page if you haven't already seen it.) I look forward to your feedback!
  4. Wait, Cryoshell are doing HF stuff now? O.o I thought they quit after Bionicle ended.
  5. Abin Sur's ship from Green Lantern would make a good set. (Just ANY Green Lantern set, stop drowning us in Batman remakes TLG...)
  6. Judging from the kind of sets you've listed, I'd say that you don't like collecting SW sets that aren't minifigure scale. Well in case I'm wrong I have one of the new "Planets" sets, TIE Interceptor and Death Star. They're very good and come with a minifigure each.
  7. Paint it dark red, but a trans-clear round 1x1 tile on the front and it'll be perfect
  8. The price per piece ratio is even worse in my native England... that's the only thing that's putting me off buying this set at the moment. However, If I can find an offer on it anywhere, maybe if £10 or so is knocked off, then I'll be sure to pick it up. I'm a sucker for design, and especially, Hulk in this case.
  9. Haha, great review. I'm currently waiting for my one to come in the post. Wolverine's lack of mask doesn't bother me as much as Deadpool's brown sword holder, that looks really out of place. But oh well, the rest is excellent.
  10. Does anyone know what plastic the minifigures in this set are made of? Because if Cap and the two aliens are Chinese, I'm not happy.
  11. Pretty much every idea is going to hit 10,000 supporters eventually, as long as it keeps getting supporters, no matter how occasionally. There's no time limit. But I think BTTF especially is going to hit 10,000 within the next few weeks.
  12. I reckon there'll be an exclusive Avengers set with Nick Fury released later this year after the other sets, much like 4184 was from POTC. If so, getting that one! Super Heroes is probably going to last for years, as there's so many set and minifigure possibilities. Who knows, it might even become as popular as Star Wars. I, however, am still waiting for Green Lantern and Daredevil sets to come out
  13. I'm in definite agreement with this! Some other classic 2001 BIONICLE parts would be nice too, such as: (I don't know the official names, how did you find them out for those parts?) 32567 32570 32572 32574 32575 40340 40582 {Stone Hammer, not sure what part no. is} 40341 Those are all the other Turaga masks and weapons not previously mentioned or already on LDD. To complete the 2001 BIONICLE collection, we also need the Matoran parts, which are: 32579 (Head) 32577 (Torso) 32578 (Normal arm) 40507 (Throwing arm) 32576 (Foot) While it is true that they were originally released in McDonalds promotions, all of these parts also made it into mainstream sets, so are considered quite important by me. And, of course, the Vahi. 41413
  14. As well as the previously stated BIONICLE parts, there are some parts from other themes that are missing from LDD too, such as: Part 87838 Part 87839 Part 87840 But BIONICLE is still top of my wanted.
  15. Continuing my series on Studios promotions: 4068 - Handy Camera - Theme: Studios [Promo] LXF file ERRORS: The tile 1x2 can't fit inside the camera. 4067 - Buggy - Theme: Studios [Promo] LXF file ERRORS: None!
  16. All the old BIONICLE parts with ball sockets to be re-moulded with the newer ball sockets, so they don't break. Maybe released as service packs or something.
  17. Some Studios promos: 4069 - Katinko & Megaphone - Theme: Studios [Promo] LXF file ERRORS: 1. No printing. 4070 - Camera Stand - Theme: Studios [Promo] LXF file ERRORS: None! 4071 - Bottles - Theme: Studios [Promo] LXF file ERRORS: 1. No sticker sheet. 4072 - Skeleton - Theme: Studios [Promo] LXF file ERRORS: None!
  18. I've modified it now, and labelled 7147 as Incomplete. I'll complete the model when the missing parts become available on LDD. In the meantime you can add 6127 into the index, and 7147 as an incomplete model if you want.
  19. Indeed. I hope the HF storyline progresses like this more in the future. Greg's a great author, just look at what he did with BIONICLE!
  20. has set their status and this is it.

  21. Good work, the sleek design is perfect. Voyager is my favourite series too, can't wait to see the Janeway fig. Now, if only they made Voyager sets... *sigh*
  22. Okay, so I made one of the new Hero Factory sets in LDD yesterday, it's as complete as I can get it. However, the other Hero Factory set is as complete as I can get it, but there's not much seeing as the current version of LDD has hardly any BIONICLE parts. So here we go. I think the pictures are too big to post here according to the rules, so they are linked instead. 6217 - Surge - Theme: Hero Factory LXF file ERRORS: 1. Hero Core is Light Stone Grey instead of partially LSG and partially White. 2. Bottom part of the shooter is slightly different from the real version, but that's LDD's mistake, not mine. 3. Bright Blue can't be blended into the pipe on LDD like the real set. 4. Ball part can't fit into the launcher in LDD. 5. Chest armour part doesn't have printing on it like the real set, as this is impossible to do in LDD. 6. The end of the pipe isn't connected to the bottom part of the hand, as I'm not sure how to do this. Only just learned how to use the flex tool while making this model. 7147 - XPlode - Theme: Hero Factory [iNCOMPLETE - Many parts missing on LDD] LXF file ERRORS: 1. The three-holed TECHNIC liftarm can't attach onto the body like in the real set due to a collision, I can't get around that. It is left to the side instead. 2. Part 64272 is not available on LDD, so it is omitted. XPlode's head and the rest of the parts connected to it are left to the side. 3. The Part 64292s cannot connect to the legs like in the real set due to a collision, so they have been left to the side. This appears to be a bug. 4. The Part 32173s are not available on LDD so they have been omitted. 5. Part 61807pb02 is not available on LDD so it has been omitted. 6. The ball can't fit into the launcher on LDD. 7. The three Part 87825pb01s are omitted as they are not available on LDD.
  23. Ah, that'd make sense. Maybe they will release both versions in the sets then.
  24. I think nothing of taking them apart, much like these. They've never broken for me.
  25. Ah, I have Danju and I also have Evo 2.0, though it never occured to me somehow that the purple in them was the same shade. I hope they use more of this colour on constraction sets in the future, glad to see they're doing so with Voltix.
