No, I don't think it will decrease your chances of playing. I know that when it comes time for our Mafia game, we are going to try to strike a balance of new/old players. Something like 50/50. Sign-up for as many games as possible, you never know what'll happen.

I'm fairly sure the piece you are referring to is the boat weight, available on some older sets. I have no idea what set it would from, at least not from what you are talking about, though it could be from any of those Dacta sets. I hope this helps!

Since I can return it until January 3rd, I think I'm going to wait and see if there are any amazing boxing day sales on other cameras, and go from there. Thanks again!

I'm planning on buying a DSLR this holiday season, and wanted your input. I was able to snag a Canon Rebel EOS XS on sale as well as a free accessory kit for it. What do you think of it? What would you recommend if I were to get something instead?

I use Brickset for sets I know I own. I also print out my Bricklink orders and keep those separate. Whenever I buy a set, I keep the receipt, and I also have my instruction booklets tucked away.

Maybe the suction hoses in the model shop aren't working today?
