I'm confirming. Also, you have Svelte's name down for two characters. -
This question would best be asked here.

Shopping for Lego in Chicago?
Ricecracker replied to simonwillems's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
This thread may be of use, and PMing some of the people who live in that area (Stash2sixx, Eilif, etc.) will probably yield some results as well. -
Well, I think it'll be a huge mistake to change trans-black as well, but I guess we'll just have to wait to see what happens. I'm having the same problem, it's very tough to get them all the same.

I also got the LEGO Book bundled with Standing Small for $15 off!

Mystical Castle - Conclusion

Wah, wah, wah. Poor baby. And actually, all of us Dragons figured it out quite quickly, anyway -
I got 8293 Motor Set and 8399 K-9 Bot, virtually for free.

I would really like to play, Quarry. So far, the story looks extremely intriguing, and I know that even if I'm not chosen, I'll be closely and carefully watching and analyzing. -
On Bricklink there is a great feature called the wanted list. You can add parts, sets, minifigs or anything else that is in the Bricklink catalogue to it. You can access it by the header titled "wanted". Once you have your wanted list assembled, you can go to any store, and at the top of their inventory, click "show all items this store has on my wanted list". All the parts will show up and you can see how many they have. I hope this helps.

Happy Birthday Hinckley, Mr, Mandalorian and Mr Spielbrick
Ricecracker replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Community
I have my ways . -
Yup, I try to always email the seller prior to ordering for a shipping quote, so you aren't surprised. It always helps to read through their feedback, as well as their Splash and Store Policies pages. Shipping generally costs the same from either the Continental U.S. and Canada, so those should be your best bet as a first order. Also, remember that shipping can take a while, so be patient. If you need any store recommendations, I suggest you check out the Bricklink Trusted Sellers list, though it could use a bit of updating...

Happy Birthday Hinckley, Mr, Mandalorian and Mr Spielbrick
Ricecracker replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Community
Happy birthday to all three of you! Enjoy, and get lots of LEGO! No, no, no. You have it all wrong. They'd end up with a bowl of 1x2 rown plates/bricks trying to see what they make out of them . -
Thanks! I too have never seen the one they have. Thank you! It is a hatch for a gunner/sniper to poke out of to provide cover fire. If you look closely at my first pic, you can make out a gunner and gun. I'll keep that in mind, thanks. I've been considering it for a while, but I'm still not sure how I'd do it. Right behind it are the wires for the lights. I always try pre-fab windscreens first when I build MOCs, but I felt that none, including this on look as good as the solution I came up with. I also prefer not to use stickers when possible, especially if I would have to make them myself. Again, thank you, and good luck with your project!

Why not? I think it looks very close to the original. Thank you! The 75 degree ones would be too much, if anything the 65 degree ones. With those, I wouldn't be able to create the sloped rear or have the windows on the sloped sides . Thanks. The problem is, there is no slope that lets me include the windows as well as the sloped rear and rear door. Thanks, I bought an extra elite junior kit at Brickworld, so I thought I'd try to include it. I feel that those are too small compared to the rest of the truck, but I'll try it out. I am planning on taking *another* look through it to see if I can think up any ideas on how to improve it. For this one, I really wanted to be true to the original.

Hello again! For the last two and a half months or so, I've been building away at this off and on. I'm finally satisfied. If you follow me on flickr, I've posted two WIP pics, and I thank you for the input. Instead of a S.W.A.T team, Toronto police have the E.T.F, or Emergency Task Force. I really wanted to build one of their trucks, so the armoured truck seemed like the best option. If you want to get technical, it is a Ford F550/Armet Armored Vehicles Trooper. After scouring the internet for pictures of the real thing, I ended up with these: There are some parts of the MOC that I am not entirely happy with, like the gaps running along the side and back, but I can live with it. Now for some pictures : And a video of the working light bar: For more pictures and another video, visit my flickr.

Plates with one stud on it. Kind of half a plate and half a tile.

Mystical Castle - Conclusion
Ricecracker replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I thought the first part of your PM to me, "If you are just lying about this, then I guess I'm screwed, but the odds of you claiming to be insane seem pretty slim, so I'm trusting you on this." was pretty funny . You didn't play badly at all, in my opinion, we just screwed with you and your results so much that it must've just got confusing. -

I wasn't the night killer until Simon died anyway, though we did work together on decisions. -
These are great LuxorV! I may just have to use some of these soon. You should also make a set from some of these .

I find this happens when you logoff then back on, or restart your computer or internet browser.

Mystical Castle - Conclusion
Ricecracker replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wah. wah. wah. So was I. I forgot to mention that, until Simon was killed, I had no night action . -
My new title "Smart alec with a linguistic twist" [all can be explained here] I'm guessing it was Shadows, Whitefang, or KimT, but I'm not sure which!

Mystical Castle - Conclusion

I had so much fun with this game, Draggy! It's nice being scum for a change, last time I was was back in Roman Mafia. In hindsight, we could have done much better. Firstly, when we knew that Hinckley was a killer who wasn't loyal, then we probably should've blackmailed him into joining us. Then, we should've got rid of Svelte more quickly, and more recently, instead of killing Bob, I should've gone for JimButcher. All in all I had a really good time, and it was fun escaping death for so many days.
