  1. Sorry Lord Vader, lost track amongst the many pages :(
  2. Did anyone post this yet? The two battle packs are available on SAH: http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...272&cn=473&d=70 http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...271&cn=473&d=70 $12.99 USD apiece ... seems a little expensive ... considering these are essentially minifig sets ... and the $14.99 USD price of the Tic Tac Toes last year. ~ M ~
  3. Any idea where?
  4. I guess this got put out on the shelves early? http://cgi.ebay.com/LEGO-Castle-7041-TROLL...1QQcmdZViewItem Not bidding because I think that price will end up being a little steep, but exciting to see that it might be out soon ... I hope :) It's not on SAH yet, sooooo, I don't know. EDIT: There are a number up for sale on eBay, actually.
  5. I've been thinking of trying to recreate some of the various goblins from this movie for some time. I'm talking about the '86 film featuring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. I'll put up some screen shots tomorrow of the ones I'd like to try to recreate, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone else had already done this? I didn't find any posts on EB or on BS, but I guess it's still possible. *sweet* ~ M ~ PICTURES ADDED (sorry for the wait, got busy!)
  6. This is the one I'm looking for: voldemort's head I've looked on Bricklink and there are only a couple of the head that I need available (all in Europe) and it doesn't look like any of the minifigs that it comes with. Does anyone in the states have one they'd be willing to part with? If so, send me a message and name your price :) I'm not looking to get it cheap, but maybe to avoid minimum order charges and overseas shipping costs if possible. Thanks much! ~ M ~
  7. The Penguin army is pretty awesome :) I like the design. Nice work! ~ M ~
  8. Sorry to multi-post, this is the last one, I swear. But I just had to read through this entire thread and kept seeing things I wanted to respond too. *Phew*, done. That was my first thought too. Bare minimum this will cost $100USD, but in all likelihood more ($150 does seem a fair baseline). Still, I'll be awaiting more confirmation that this is, in fact, a real set. A few of the details, like some of the flags hanging off the back off the evil side of the board (and extra skellies hidden in the towers) seem a bit too elaborate for typical LEGO sets. But who knows, if this is running more along the lines of some of the Town sets that have been released like Corner Cafe etc and are geared at AFOLS and come with an expected higher price line, than perhaps it is real. Does anyone know how the Blacksmith's Shop fared as a set? Did it perform well in sales? It'd be nice to see some more actual castle sets (i.e. castles, or castle town buildings etc) released in more detailed versions, like their Town counterparts. Griping aside, I agree with most everyone, this looks to be an amazing year for Castle. :-$ I am going to start a war chest right now. Stock up gold stash to unleash it upon these sets come April, September, etc. :-D ~ M ~
  9. Also, I really hope they cost less than $20. And less than $15. And if it's not too much to ask $10. ~ M ~
  10. To iamded and anyone else who doesn't want any more skelle horses: please send them to me. Thanks. The end. ~ M ~
  11. Yeah, I'm serious. This will be nice if it's real, don't get me wrong. But, they haven't really been doing minifig packs in a long time. RECENT changes have been nice ... the TIC TAC TOEs, Star Wars Army Builders, Chess Sets, and others, but how about a Troll/Goblin/Dwarf minifig pack with just minifigs? When that happens, I will be satisfied. ~ M ~
  12. LOL, that's how it used to be ... not a big box, but still. Um, and regardless of packaging, the return of true minifig packs to the Castle line is very welcome. But seriously, what ever happened to these? ~ M ~
  13. It's just too bad that so many of the old posts have dead links and expired pictures :( ~ M ~
  14. Amanda, I've seen these on eBay and think they're pretty cool. It's nice that people are doing this type of customization work making it easier for everyone else to get what they want. That said, I don't think I'll be buying any just now: I like my goblins to look a little meaner :) ~ M ~
  15. natelite, I totally agree with your pricing deduction ... $10 would be fantastic, but $12 seems about the max they could charge ... especially considering the price of the Castle Tic Tac Toes @ $15 for 10 MFs. However, these do look very fake. I just don't understand why they would possibly switch up the packaging like this. I mean this is what Muscle Men and Army Ants and all the other stupid little figures come (came) in, LEGO is unique and its packaging is a distinct part of its branding. Or so I thought :) Still, would be very cool if this were real ... and who knows, maybe it's some early prototype packaging just to demonstrate what's included ... *wishful thinking* I fear. ~ Me ~
  16. Seems to be doing well so far, good luck! :)
  17. Hi, I recently started up a Bricklink store. I will be adding sets, minifigures, and pieces to it periodically. You can check it out here: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=frlash I also have the following Wild West sets for sale (with instructions, no boxes): 6769 Fort Legorado 6761 Bandit's Secret Hide-Out 6765 Gold City Junction 6755 Sheriff's Lock-Up Those four are not listed yet in my store, but feel free to make an offer by PM. I generally use the Bricklink price guide as a reference, but will sell on the lower end to make a quick sale. However, I do consider item availability ... if the 10 cheapest listings are shipping from Europe, I'll price accordingly for a sale in the USA. Thanks!
  18. Lord of Pies--LMAO! [quote name='Tohst' Reminds me of my favorite 'car' in Twisted Metal 2 Tohst, it is similar to that character! I always used to use Spectre though: I loved the extra heat-seeking rockets his car came with. Now I'm totally going to have to break that out soon :)
  19. I agree w/ all of you: too expensive as an army builder. TTT much better. BL much better. Why so high do you think? However, add a moving visor and a horse, and booya, I'm there :-D
  20. Thanks gylman! Hmm, seems high for that Caste impulse set ... but still, glad it's out :)
  21. SlyOwl, I was definitely going to try to win that. Emphasis on try. I was also definitely tempted to make some comment like 'oooh, now I'll just have to win the Trade and Industry category of CCCV, no biggie: it's in the bag!', but my chances are probably slim seeing as normally I don't MOC that often and my building techniques and details probably don't stand up to those of many. The only thing I do have going for me at the moment is that I have tons of pieces to use and normally I don't. So, I'm at least going to give it a shot! ~ batbrick away! ~ Oh wait, I'm not batbrick. I just like *hearing* that.
  22. How do you not pick up FREE LEGO? Oh man. That's too bad :( Fortunately, I did get this one. For me ... I'm going to say the Dwarves Mine. I wish I'd gotten it a month ago when it was still priced normally. I just don't like paying extra.
  23. 100 without the troll is a problem, with the troll 100 is average. I wish I could get better, but apparently no. Anyway, I caved and bought one on nnnnneeebay. I guess this topic could be considered closed ... but thanks!
  24. Yeah, thanks for sharing Aussie Ben, I just saw your (?) post on LUGNET and was going to put it up. My favorite part of that though is that it appears that Dwarves Mining will indeed return. That's good news to me :)
  25. Smoking is cool! All the cool people on TV and in movies and on cheap advertising at bus stops do it! *Even camels!* Sweet .... (takes a drag) .... oh sweet nicotine goodness .... mmmm, yeaaaah. Just so this isn't totally off topic ... LEGO ...
