Thats assuming that the rest of the set is vehicle based, for all we know the rest of the set could be some road signs and a Doomsday bigfig, or a small Lex Luthor in Mech suit.

I think our best chance for getting some of the older JP characters like, Dr Grant, Ian Malcom, ect is through LEGO Dimensions. Which has both cons and Pros. I guess this means more characters in physical form, but less vehicles and large dinos.

The level packs are a bit expensive, £29.99 for the Back to the Future pack is ridiculous.

This looks pretty awesome. I'm certainly getting that Back to the Future pack regardless of whether I get the game or not. I come on that Hover board needs to go next to my CUUSSO delorean. I'm guessing that as time goes on more and packs for each universe will appear. So I expect a second wave of Wizard of Oz and BTTF stuff. This is most likely just a way for LEGO to hold on to the rights to a ton of properties but I'm on board.

Did anyone pick up Chrononauts #1 this week? If not then I highly recommend it.

Most of the characters in the MCU are nothing like how they are in the comic books. Yondu, nebula, Star Lord, Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Drax, Nick Fury, Thor, Iron man, Rhodey, Falcon, Ultron, Vision, ect and all different from their comic counterparts, whether its by look, Origin or personality. the films are just adaptations, and since every comic book character has at least 100 different versions of themselves, you can never make a true adaptation. For example Iron man has, 616 Ironman, ultimate Ironman, Zombie Ironman, 1602 Lord Stark, Iron mouse, Superior Ironman, House of M Ironman, Age of Apocalypse Ironman, Iron mandrill (Ape Universe), noir Ironman and those are just the ones I can remember. There is no true version of any character because they've been rebooted, Rehashed, Killed, Revived, Retired, Reinvented and Reused so many times that the source material was lost long ago. A comic accurate film would ultimatly follow exactly what Jack Kirby did ( and Stan Lee claimed to do), which would be awful. Have you read any of the comics from the 60's? There just awful, constant exposition and little to no character development. What works in Comic books very rarely translates to film simple due to how different the mediums are look at Alan Moores work. While I have very little interest in the FF as a whole ( both film and comics ), this film could be fine. We should be pleased that someones changing things up, no one wants to see a story they know the end to. Plus this new film is being overseed closely by Mark Millar who wrote the Ultimate FF and nearly everything the MCU is based on.

Well Rocket Racoon polybags have started showing up in UK TRUs, so Electro will arrive in the summer most likely for us in the UK. -
Ive been on a movie binge recently and Ive watch a lot of films over the past week or so. Dredd Man Of Steel No Country for Old Men True Grit Unbreakable Skyfall Ted And Gone Girl All in all theres not a bad film so far, I'd already seen Man of Steel, Dredd, Skyfall and Ted but its been a while since I saw them. I remember liking Man of Steel more the first time, but its alright, still waiting for an incredible Superman film. Gone Girl is awesome but it really screws with your head, and I absolutely loved True Grit and No Country for Old Men. Unbreakable however was a real shock for me, I forgot M.Night Shyamalan has made good movies, plus I miss when Bruce Willis cared about the films he made.

I'm a little bit suprised to see Johns only stick around for one arc on Superman, especially since he'll only be writing Justice League, and a couple of earth one Graphic Novels. All the revealed books add up to 49 so I'm hopeful that there may be 3 books left for SHAZAM. Also looking at the list I'm shocked to see how much they're condencing the Green Lantern Books down too, they've cut half of them out.

Martian Manhunter and Dr Fate sound pretty good, so does Cyborg. I'm pleased that its only a soft reboot snd not another full blown one like the start of the New 52 was, as far as im aware all the storys will continue over which is good. I'msuprised that there isn't a SHAZAM book in the relaunch since Geoff Johns has been building him up quite a bit in Justice League. Oh well at least he got the Thunderworld book as part of multiversity.

I havent read too much pre 52 outside of batman, but theres a couple, of new 52 series that weren't great. Detective Comics, Dark Knight, Trinity War, Futures end and Batman eternal are all pretty awful, plus the first few issues of Superman and Green Arrow are pretty dire aswell.

I doubt we will see the Marvel characters in the TBBT set purely down to the fact the WB owns TBBT. It will be much more likely that they will include DC stuff since they are owned by WB as well.

This set looks pretty cool, but I'm unsure as to whether I'll get it or not. After watching the video I have to say that its certainly a huge achievement but I'm a bit disapointed by the power functions stuff. Not it won't look cool all with lights and spinning turbines, but it means in order to get the Helicarrier at it's best you have to spend another like £50 on top of the already huge amount it will cost. -
What about Shaggy's sleeves? They'd be fine for a custom classic Robin.
-
I assume that LEGO are saving New 52 SHAZAM and Superman plus Raven for next year. It makes sense really if you think about it.
-
If any I'd prefer the New 52 version, it has a lot more going for it but still looks 'Robin' like. I've never been a fan of the Pre 52 version even when it was introduced in Kingdom Come back in 1996 when that outfit was worn by Dick Grayson. The Cowl is what mainly puts me off, it's too Batman like, the Robin identity gets lost in it.
-
Could it be possible that the robin in the Joker Land set is Red Robin? After all it would be another exclusive character, and another member of the Titans.
-
They had them up on the 10th but they were taken down on the 12th and I haven't seen them back on the website for a bit.
-
I believe the Batman the manta set is slightly different from the Grodd one. On the back of the comic that's in the sets is a picture of that batman, with the Scuba mask that he has in the Penguin set. By the looks of it the new cowl fits on the Scuba head fine.

Has anyone got a response from LEGO about the Superjumpers? I'm suprised that they haven't issued an apology or statement on them. I know it's really only been offically 12 days since there release, but I'm sure LEGO have been pretty fast at reacting in the past. I'm mainly basing this on the BTTF mid printing and few other mishaps.
