Whoa, I made you more popular Saber-Scorpion! By the way, I do love your models, and I always check your site everyday to read your new comics! I'm not bashing you for your use of decals, it's hard to customize a minifig without straying away from just plain LEGO pieces, but like I said, it seemed that everyone posting at that time was bashing the use of decals. Your Halo 3 permutations are superb by the way. My favorite decals are the ones that go one the side of the visors, very well done. But nonetheless, I helped Saber-Scorpion join Eurobricks! :-P :-P Nice profile pic by the way!

Wow, very nice Mech, excellent color scheme, I only wish it could transform into a Ferrari though!

I love the bay doors, both ships look pretty speedy yet sturdy transports. I can imagine them just cruising right into a hot spot, GO GO GO!

There are lot more than just one exception. There were multiple videos of little kids playing Guitar Hero up on YouTube and my friend, Mike's, little 7 year old brother plays Guitar Hero quite well and loves playing it. Video games and electronic entertainment are just a lot more common these days. Last year I taught a 3rd grade Sunday School class and after Christmas break, 2 of the kids were so happy cause they got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. Just becaues they play video games, however, doesn't mean they're playing violent ones though.

I'm so glad to know that there are other Lego Wargame fans out there, I really only have one person to have a battle with in my neighborhood. Although...I would like to have a battle online. Not necessisarily Brick Battles, but...possibly a smackdown, brickmaster?

I guess I'll take that as a compliment! Thank you. *sweet* The classic joints are the only ones I'm comfortable with because I've been using them ever since I was a small kid, like 7. Plus I don't really have any of the new "galidor" joints cause the last LEGO set I ever got was so so long ago, I'm talking years, at Christmas. I just buy from BrickLink now. Only recently have I managed to make them work quite well.

I take no credit in the creation of this, it belongs to someone else, but I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with this site and set of rules. It's a very detailed LEGO Wargame, but makes battling quite fun because of the thoroughness and creativity. Just take a look at this colorful online rulebook. There are also available, Stat Cards for your Minifigs that are quite neat. I think it would be interesting if people would come up with the Stats for their own Sig Fig here at EuroBricks. There is also a page of links to other LEGO Wargames. There's some Minifig, Pirate, Medieval Fantasy RPG, and Mech sites. The creator of all this has also worked for LEGO as a concept artist and has some illustrations of the LEGO Knights Kingdom Set. There are also some cool LEGO drawings to download too. I'm quite fond of this one.

I would have to completely disagree with you. Kids can play guitar hero. It's just a matter of them playing long enough to play well. With enough reps at a single song on Guitar Hero, it's possible to play it very well. Don't believe me? Look at this . A 5 year old is even better than me. I'm in High School. Also, I don't think this set would be that popular. The setup would be similar to the LEGO theatre and film line, and I don't think that was that much of a hit, well at least until Spider Man was involved. Plus there's a good share of the LEGO community that aren't kids.

Read this topic for all your rank needs.

Very true, true indeed. It just so happens that most of the things I build are Mechs! :-P Another reason why I dislike Exo-Force, too many wierd pieces. Although...doesn't that call for Creativity and Ingenuity?

Wow, I thought I knew what good was, but the other models you guys have posted are simply outstanding! And yes, without the use of decals for detailing. I didn't realize that decals were so heavily criticized. Dang, I'm glad I posted this topic! Thanks for the new insight you guys!

This was just a random find of mine about a year ago. Since I'm new to Eurobricks, I'd figure I'd share.

This is the creation of Saber-Scorpion. He has a wonderful personal website that has some awesome LEGO models and a cool and frequently updated LEGO Comic. Definitely worth looking into! Here's is most recent comic update. Also, for all you Cowboy Western lovers, he has created a Western comic too. There's also some Medieval stuff, like Classic Castle, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons. Saber-Scorpion has some really neat stuff. Check it out.

Just thought I'd like to share with you guys another LEGO fan website. The guy is known as Saber-Scorpion and he's created some great models in the Halo Genre. Basically, both the Covenant and Human armies. Not only are there models of the vehicles and such but very detailed minifigs as well. Check out his recent update of the Halo 3 Armor Permutations. Concerning the whole Theme of Space And Mecha too, is his own universe called Nova Refuge. He's gone to great detail in describing the world and has some excellent detailed models for the respective armies. Check out all his LEGO work here.

Simply make your own instructions. Creativity and Ingenuity are key in Mech building.

I was too young to remember Voltron, but I do know who you're talking about though. I do remember falling in complete love with THE ORGINAL Power Rangers. :-P Yes, laugh all you want, but the orginal shows were the best and I loved them. The blockiness of the Mechs, and the dinosaur theme was awesome, not to mention the Green Rangers Dragon Mech with the Rocket fingers was sweet! So, I suppose I did or do like some Anime influence, but there's definitely a line.

I believe its a terrible sport. There's nothing heroic about enticing a poor beast to its death. Don't watch this video if you have empathy for the bull.

What helped me was actually examining the Transformer models and their instructions. Take a look at this site. It's an archive of all the instructions for the Transformer models. Just replace the toy joints with LEGO joints and see if it works.

I'd suggest using the leg armor for use on a space fighter...or as particle cannons, massive weaponry for a mech or tank or even space fighter...or use them for jet boosters on a mech.
