Perhaps Lego want to push buyers from PAB to Bricklink coz In Sweden PAB prices has increased from crazy to insane.. (and on top of that shipping cost on S@H isnt exactly modest. Perhaps Lego has the intention that PAB just should be used to order spare parts (With crazy high shipping price) not things for MOC's`? Perhaps the kind CopMike can get a answer from TLC on how the heck they are thinking? ps perhaps it the Millenium bug that finally kicked in at S@H ?? ds

I have the set (all 3 sets of the Jabba palace) and I really enjoy: 1. its not a vehicle !! woooohooo.. hooray.. its so much more easy to expand and mod this set to your liking than a vehicle.. 2. 3 sets that connects, brilliant idéa, Does not hurt Your wallet so much at one time. I really wish Lego company would do more SW buildings and more sets that can be expanded with adding more sets.. Personally I found the "Palace" to be a bit slim, some more decorations would have been nice and perhaps a third medium set to connect with the 3 existing.. The Rancor pit :-) This was one of the first sets I got over Bricklink and Im happy to have them in my collection. Oh and Nice review by the way!!

I know that there are a really small population of "original" Egyptians left.. Worst: Camera Movie Style I have 10 and every moc I make I take em out and try to use them, but it never gets good. Best: the compass is sweet.. but new favourite is new telescope ohh and books sucks but but strangely I like the laptop...

If the rest of the room will go in black furniture style I would go with black but make sure the bookcase has glass doors.. and add some nice led light to shine on you display. I plan to display some of my stuff in a IKEA billy with glass doors to keep the dust away

I have a faint voice in my head that says that You are allowed in copyright law and by some "Bern convension" to use company logotypes in for example in a article, on a critical webpage as satire and so on. As long as You dont use the trademark on "products" or try to decive the consumer.. Clearly these pics are not official or related to Lego and hence should be ok. Natuarally Lego , (child friendly, cuddly, fussy and pink) dont want to be connected with the "adult lego pics (mental note:need to find high res of those ) but In legal ways I think their chances are slim. But then again I could be wrong.. ps as a "cop" I can understand Your eager to report them ;-) even if You enjoy them.. :-) Cheers!!

I remember a few years ago , when some artist made the concentration camp Lego sets.. A woman at work was disgusted that "Lego made those sets" , So I guess Your right , some people dont think, they just feel and react.. but I think the Sun thing has blown over.. and is forgotten by now

I try white , perhaps with a touch of light blue or light grey.. I would "picture-Google" around and snoop around brickshelf to try to find someting i liked , then make in the right coulors and mod it tom my likings.. And now I understand that tounge part.. :-) Ohh, and I would do the 2009 in the same coulor range as used to make the head, to make it more "stilrent"..

The real engravings are monochrome, so I would try to do a face in one coulor or perhaps two, to antialias out some things. Iwould certainly skip the tounge , if its suppsed to stand in a shop window, I dont think giving potentional customers "the tounge" is really ok. If the shop was a "fun" store like Buttericks it would be appropriate. Must it be a human head? I would probably go for a big lego minifighead/face, brick built or just use one of those egg cups, salt pepper head

Design in nice but if its for nice elfs, I think You should use brighter coluors, like white mixed with perhaps tan or som really light blue.. or perhaps green (wood elfs). and som gold/silver/ highlights. Now its looks more like a Orkish light recon transport to me:-)

My replacements arrived yesterday for my broken SBD's Happy as I was I decided to stow away the set, this time I dissasembled the BD,s and SBD's but then one of the BD's leg cracked at the ,clip and another of the BD's head was hanging loose (small crack but not yet broken).. I have "the army of the damned" at home..

Hey Copmike, nice MOD.. and with the new coastguard set I suppose You can build a orange winge mate :-) Would do it myself but I miss the Jedi starfighter set and hence missing the canopy parts.
