Hi, my real name is Jakub, but you can call me Parrot. I'm from Poland and I'm 44 years old. I learned about the AFOL community a few years ago, but I didn't buy any sets back then. My LEGO from childhood (early 1990s) were lost a long time ago, given to other children when I grew up. As a result, my "dark ages" lasted for over a quarter of a century. Even back then I didn't have a huge collection - just a dozen or so sets - but I really liked them, and for a child in Poland, shortly after the communist regime fell, it was quite a lot.
This Christmas, somewhat to my surprise, I received a small LEGO set from my mom - the Jungle Explorer ATV (#60424). I built it, then took it apart and created my first MOCs. I hope that as I gain more experience and more bricks, my creations will start to look better. I've already ordered a few new sets :D
For now, I'm posting photos of what I created from this "ATV" set (I'm sharing the photos here as part of my introduction).
One thing I noticed after such a long break is that the bricks now seem much smaller. Strange. Maybe it's just my eyesight not being what it used to be.
