Sarick looked at the future hero Nerwen mentioned. "He is a Sargassan. Looksss to be a barbarian as well. It is rare to sssee a Naga barbarian, so those that follow the barbaric path stand out distinctly." Sarick glanced at the Sargassan a little longer before slithering over. "Well met brother of the deep. I hope the chill currentsss of the blessed wavess have sped your journey to thisss hall. Have you traveled from far away?"

"Being able to speak to animalsss is an interesting power. It would be nice if I could converssse with them. I feel they would have much to say. A lot of them would probably ask to not be eaten." Sarick's hissing laugh could be heard for the first time. "En Sabah Nur is a powerful Earth Mage that hasss completed a few quests for the hall. He heard of me through his Wolfgang contactsss. He requested assistance in reading scrollsss and I in turn needed his assistance in reverting to my true visage." Sarick thought for a second. "I have not heard of the Festival of Centurus." Sarick welcomed the addition of Guts to the conversation. "Well met Guts. I hope whatever man or beast that gave you that scar is no longer breathing. And it would be good to have you along on a quest with us as well." Sarick looked at the two of them as they spoke. "I have never heard of Alouette but would be interested in playing as well. If we are unable to find the ranger would either of you be interested in sparring? I have not flexed my magical 'musclesss' in some time."
-
Sarick turned to address Nerwen. "Greetingsss Nerwen. Thingsss have been progressing well. I was able to meet with En Sabah Nur who assisted me in returning me to my true visage. I noticed that you are the only cleric and I am the only mage signed up for the two questsss as well. It would be exciting to quest with you. I have spent much time exploring the city, since we last spoke. Specifically the Triad Park. If I am not on the list for the thirteenth quest then I plan to visit the Hanging Gardens. Have you explored much of the city?"
-
No worries at all. If I make a mistake on my stats let me know.

Sarick met En Sabah Nur at the table again in the hall. As they started discussing a patron leaned in to listen. "...to acquire the itemsss I needed. I used the scroll and ssstaff to change my face back to normal. The clericsss back home thought a more human looking face would fit in better but I sssee people are very accepting here. The combination of the Scroll of Confusion and Healing Staff did the trick. I needed to 'confuse' the featuresss of my face and then heal it to return it to normal." Sarick hands the Healing Staff and Scroll of Confusion to En Sabah Nur. "Once I have completed a quessst or two and I have more fundsss, I will return for the staff and the scroll to use in future questsss. Also, here are the instructionsss you requested." Sarick slides a note to En Sabah Nur. "It lists the steps needed for reading scrolls. Thessse are similar instructions the clericsss back home taught."

Sarick hurridly weaves his way through the crowd. He spotted the magic cart and headed straight for it. There were many patrons purchasing goods so he patiently waited his turn. While Sarick waited he weighed his options. The weapon he already knew he wanted, but the scrolls, this was a tough decision. Which one he chose could cause great success or failure in his first quest. It was finally his turn in line. "Hello again Elphaba. I have made my decision. I would like one Healing Staff and one Scroll of Confision. Each item is lisssted at a cossst of 50gold." Sarick hands over a pouch containing 100 gold and retrieves his items. "Thank you"
-
Sarick listened to all the man had to say, paying close attention to each word. He nodded his understanding, accepted the coin purse and headed out the door of the Hall.
-
Sarick slithered into the hall. He peered again at the note in his hand. While exploring the city and familiarizing himself with it, someone had slipped a note into his hand and melded into the crowd. Sarick thought it must have been a rogue. The note said to meet at the quest board in the Hero's Hall. Sarick noticed that there were two new quests posted. Sarick signed his name under Quest #14: The Family Recipe. Saric felt powerful energies coming from the man standing near the board. Sarick weaved his way up the stairs and found a quite table in the corner, away from prying eyes. He wanted to know the meaning of this note.
-
Sarick listens attentively to the information given to him. "Thank you for your explanation. Once I complete a quessst, I will return to purchase some of your waresss...if you are still here that isss." Sarick moved aside so other patrons could freely browse. He turned and slithered away, heading to explore other parts of the city.
-
Sarick weaves his way through the crowd and ended up at the enchanted wagon. "Hello, I am called Sarick and I have heard of your shop from many in the market place. It isss a pleasure to meet you Elphaba. I am not knowledgable of magic itemsss and I have some questionsss. I wrote them down for eassse of reference:" SCROLLS 1. When I read a scroll and it's ability takes effect on my enemy, does the scroll burn, dissolve or disappear in some way? Is it consumable? HEALING STAFF 1. How do you use it's healing properties? . a. Do I smack my ally on the head and they are healed? 2. Can I fight foes with this staff? . a. If I hit a foe with this staff, are they healed? NIMBUS BROOMSTICK 1. With it's long range ability, if I fight farther back [back row] does it still hurt my foe as if I was up close[front row]?

Sarick noticed Guts and others traveling down to the quest board. 'This might be my first quest to prove my powers,' thought Sarick. He slivered down the stairs and signed up for Quest #13: The Darkstar. Sarick turned back to those gathered around the quest board. "I enjoyed our discussionsss and hope to be questing with you soon. I mussst travel to the marketplace I have heard of and see if there isss anything I should purchase. I shall be back." With that, Sarick turned and left. The end of his tail could be seen slipping past the door to the hall before it closed.
-
Sarick swiveled around on the bar stool to see who was addressing him. He had not experienced this before so he swiveled back and forth a few more times before responding. "It is nice to meet you Nerwen. Yesss, I am new to the hall. What is it that I do? I sit here, waiting to quest with the future heroesss I see before me. I assume you mean what I did before I came here? I was a defender, one who's duty it is to protect the nessst. While others fought tail to fin against creatures of the deep, I watched their backsss and protected their flanksss. I summoned sheets of ice to protect the clerics from direct attacks so they might heal our fighting brothersss and sistersss. When fighters were injured and retreating for rest, I created dense cold sections of water to impede the aggressorsss. I do not know if more Naga will come, but if I do well and they hear of my adventuresss, they just might come to join." Sarick turned his gaze to the Orc and spoke. "You have a dragon'sss bone? Wasss it a fiery red? A poisonousss green? A sneaky black? A frigid white? A slippery sea serpent? What type of dragon was slain by your Warchief?" Sarick eyes the twin blades. They look like they would do far more damage than his shark's fang. "I must have slithered passst you on my way to this stool." Sarick swiveled a few more times. "I am Sarick. It is a pleasure to meet you Dak."
-
Sarck reached out and clasped Guts' forearm. "I am called Sarick Lanse. I do not drink wine. Something about it doesn't mix well with my venom.". Sarck noticed the look on Guts' face.. "My venom is neither dangerousss to you nor helpful in your trade. I am still too young to produce deadly venom. It would work well againssst small creaturesss...like mice or cockroachesss, but it's far easier to just crush them with your coilsss." Sarick thought for a second. "Or just step on them with your boot." "Over 100 different racesss, that is quite a bit. Hopefully I will be able to see these different racesss on future questsss. I am pleased we met Guts. It is alwaysss best to have an assassin by your side, rather than behind you."
-
Sarick looked at the man next to him. The man's many blades told Sarick that he must be good with them. Sarick turned his diamond pupils toward the man. "No, I am not a sssailor but I do come from the sssea. I was going to thank the sailor properly with sssome coin, for providing me with a drink, but now that I know the food and drink are free, I'll sssave my coin for something elssse." "What isss my ssstory? You mean why am I here? The Priestess requiresss all young Naga to venture forth when they come of age. They may not return until they have proven they are no longer a hatchling. Very few leave the beloved ocean behind, but I have heard of Heroica Hall, and I could not pass up a chance to head here. My people have very few "finger wigglersss". My people are either the devout clericsss, strong knightsss or slippery roguesss. Magesss are frowned upon. The Priestess has decided I should be a cleric, but I have chosen otherwissse. I will prove that my fingersss can wiggle and grant me victory. I will prove it here, in Heroica Hall." "Have you been on many adventuresss? Most people are't very welcome to outsidersss, is it the same here?"

Sarick waited until dark. He wanted to make sure the Hall was packed full of people, all celebrating their victories with rounds of drinks and toasts or drowning their defeats and sorrows with pints of ale. Sarick opened the hall door slowly. The loud noise of the patrons created a perfect distraction. He slithered inside quickly and blended with the crowd. The press of bodies meant close quarters and little chance of anyone looking toward the floor. Sarick had a hypnotic sway to his movements as he headed toward the Quest board. "No current questsss," hissed Sarick. He spotted an empty stool at the bar and headed there as fast as he could. Sarick made it to the stool and took a seat before a drunken sailor could stumble to it. He coiled his tail around the leg of the stool for comfort and to keep it from being stepped on. Before he could open his mouth, a flagon of mead was shoved into his hands. "Rounds for everybody, on me!" shouted the sailor. Sarick nodded his thanks and sipped his drink, patiently waiting for a quest to test his new found power.

The Chili's resturant is great! There are close quarters in the kitchen which is very realistic hehe -

Great piece of art. Your robot looks like something I would find in a museum on display :)
-
Only played table top RPG for about a year but your MOC brings back pleasant memories :)

All of this is excellent work but my favorite part would have to be the nature aspect. The way you added bits of color into the green and the other various plants and fauna is great!
-
This is impressive. I love the attention to detail and the wide variety of minifigs. Of all the ones shown, which minifig is your favorite?
-
That's a great creation! Is the hatch wide enough for a person to ride inside?
-
Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum. I joined so I can be part of Heroica and I'm still working on my minifig right now. Love Dragons and Robots, so I will be visiting the Lego Mindstorms section quite a bit.
