"Sure! Enjoy." Guts says as he takes the money and hands over the coat. While he's in the Hall, Guts uses his level-up mushroom and sharpens Mythril Edge with his two grating stones.

Sandy, The dog fur coat should not be on sale on the marketplace.

Unrest in the Forest, Day 1: Rush

Allow me to explain then. I believe that Bruce Spruce made the statements calling people out to appear as oak. That's what it seems like to me. As a real oak does not need to APPEAR helpful, I think this behaviour is suspect. Combine that with the baseless maple read situation and I feel confident in my vote. Bruce, as to respond to what you adressed to me, I believe Berty's statement that I call flail became clear in his statement before my vote of you. He's definitely my number two choice for voting, but I'm not sure at all if it's just him trying to subtly declare himself vanilla town and a bad explanation or something like that. I need to think about and reread it more. For me it's not about keeping around people for a better prospect or whatever you meant exactly by that, it's about finding maples, and that's possible even on day one. -
"Very, but having my soul linked with you was plain weird."

"Hoke, it was Torc, wasn't it? Does he... Or she, talk?"
-
That's hilarious. Pro-tip: You could just try learning to use the emotes of the forum you are actually using! They are cool, they are Lego-y and stuff.

As I said in another topic, I would be happy to help people with sets that I can do, and of course with other parts of a quest. Since I don't have all the time in the world I can't host a quest of my own, but I'll definitely co-host with someone.

Vote: Bruce Spruce (Tamamono) Out of a few suspicious treefolk, I think Mr. Spruce is most suspicious. His seemingly helpful calling out those talking about mechanics and his weird incriminating ping me so to speak. That said, at the moment, Berty Birch seems to be acting out the popular dance move: The flail. -
Yep! For some reason I had the optimistic thought that each battle would double the GP, haha.
-
Wait. Is it 1 2 4 8 16 for GP or 1 2 3 4 5? It's the second one, isn't it. I'm dumb. Since we'll probably be using War, I count 16 battles until an Amulet.

"Thanks for the offer, but there is no rush. I'm thinking if we're going to do this trip to the fields, I should stick with what I know."
-
"Hm. Too rich for my taste. These weapons don't have any special properties you see. Maybe after we get back from the fields?"
-
"They are something, what would ask in return?" "I'm getting things together for an experiment. The Shadeaux send me a proposal. You may know what it is about."
-
"It's a coat that let's you command dogs! That has to be better than a suit of cursed armour... Fine, I'll keep it."

The alchemist strolls over to where Nerwen and Hoke are. Ignoring the knight: "Are you thinking of going to the fields with Hoke? You'd both die without me around." Guts takes his name off Quest 126 and signs up for the Fields of Glory.

Guts stops by Fabian's. "Hey, I've got a lovely Dog-fur Coat (SP:5, backwear, allows the wearer to command any mutt into obedience). I've tried it on a few denizens of the hall, but it wouldn't work... I think 250 gold would be fair, looking at the rest of your stock, what do you say?"
-
Okay thanks, that makes sense! War would probably be the easiest one to deal with for the multiplayer (x2). It would only take seven battles with War active to get a Medal of Glory. Considering there are six "easy" battles to be done, this seems entirely plausible to get done fairly quickly. So is Quarryman, I see. You said earlier you wanted to stay for five battles to get a decamodifier, would you be willing to try for at least seven to get Medals of Glory?

What could I possibly have said in the first page or so that would make me seem suspicious to you? -
I think the 'worth' of going to the fields depends entirely on your group. Got a strong team with plenty of supplies, set out for a bunch of battles, having several challenges active to speed up glory points (Immortal, Thick Skin, War, perhaps Overdose and you only die twice, can you even have multiple challenges on at once?) it will probably be great. I'd consider going only in that kind of group. Anyone interested, let me know.

Guts puts up a notice: "Looking for a decent shield and a decent spear or halberd. Will pay solid gold. Find Guts Holla."

They're allegations already? Alejandro, who said I was maple-y, now claims I come off as oak-y. -
If anyone needs help for a quest with a couple of sets. Let me know and I'll see what I can do. No promises.

Is that what is happening? Seems to me that he didn't understood the whole oakiest of the oaks spiel. -

I feel like we really should make everyone a fan of William though. I mean, he's so tall, and dark and he rustles so good in the evening wind. I'm just saying It's bad English, you probably haven't heard of it.
