  1. I think it was already used... Somewhere...
  2. Ah, I did not know that, thanks for educating me, droid. And I don't think it matters who said what first, I was not accusing any one, and even if I was, I don't think it would hold weight, as there seems to always be one or two misguided induviduals that suggest this, at least from holovids I have seen, that is.
  3. Guts grabbed two ready bottles of booze, one filled with wine, the other with a clear liquid, which teared your eyes when you smelled it, and handed the second to Knifk. "Training room, eh? Interesting... the bastard is not letting me in. So why did you come to Heroica?"
  4. Hmpf, why did no one feel the need to wake me up, when this all started? Anyway, to the issue at hand, I propose we are all as active as we can, that meaning no useless statements AKA "This is terrible!" Must I remind you the Jedi-Code? Such blattering is not helpful to our case of finding the Sith among us. I also am pleased to see that we all HAVE to vote or suffer a penalty, this should make it harder for the Sith to hide among us in the shadows... Not so good is the No-Unvoting rule, I imagine it can be easy for a Sith to cast their vote as a "mistake", therefore not being able to held accountable for it. Keep this in mind, so be very careful when you vote... Now, on the discussion already going on. Skywalker's proposition of not reaching a vote is not a good idea, I feel. I have meditated, and seen a similair case, among tophats and steam engines, where the same was tried, and they got lucky. Very lucky, not to mention, the situations are entirely different. If we would do as you say, we would give this scum free reign to kill at will, which can not be a good thing... I propose we do vote someone out, but that we do so carefully and responsibly. Now, a minor thing, which could turn out to be nothing, but at the beginning, Corobb called our enemies Sithspawn. Was there a particular reason for this, or just a matter of speaking?
  5. As Guts returned from the marketplace, his companion for the last three adventures, Knifk, was waiting on him with a drunken grin on his face. A common man would probably no longer be on his feet after a question like this, less common folk would just be ignored. Guts replied the Orc's question: "You look like you need a drink. And not this city's stinking ale, either. Why don't you tell me about yourself, I know nothing of you, we haven't exactly had the chance for a decent conversation..."
  6. Guts walked in the Marketplace, his first stop was at Portia's Stall, who blushed after the rogue winked when he walked up to her. He bought 2 grand potions (2 x 10 = 20),6 meads (6 x 15 = 90 gold), 3 Smelling salts (3 x 25 = 75 gold) and 3 Nostrums (3 x 35 = 105 gold). Guts counted out 290 gold, and carefully placed all the mixtures in his bag, he would sort them out later. Before he left, he also sold his Ice Bomb, for 5 gold.(1087 gold - 290 gold + 5 gold = 802) Guts then stopped by the blacksmith, where he choose a pre-made Throwing Knife, (50 gold), which Guts had infused with the Diamond he carried with him (50 gold), and then upgraded to WP:8 (60+70+80 = 210 gold). Guts also had his shortsword, which was once inscribed with "Lifestealer" upgraded to WP:12 (90+100+110+120 = 420 gold) The rogue was now much better equipped, and had 72 gold left.
  7. Guts shook his head, the Metasimian did not look up, shame, his planned information-gathering about Eubric's gang of Metasimians would have to wait for another time. While he was sobered up, Guts decided to pay a visit to the marketplace. On his way, he saw the short rogue, with the big hat and scythe, and the skin of a demon laying on a bench, sleeping. The rogue smirked, Hybros (he thought that was his name?) had handled himself rather well back in the quarry, and if he was really honest with himself, he was not sure who would win in a fight between them. In an uncharacteristic impulse, Guts spread a blanket over the sleeping figure. As Guts walked away, he could be heard mumbling "Damn lightweights."
  8. I think this is very well said. I did not want to repeat myself so I kept quiet, but I got kinda annoyed with the people that speak badly of "licensed projects". Those people did work for their projects too, or the project has a large enough fanbase already to warrant quickly reaching their goal. Both are very good examples of the projects Cuusoo is interesting for.
  9. If you are asleep, then you can't attack, and therefore not roll damage or special damage, the roll is not an attack roll, but rather a wake up roll. If I understand it correctly, that is.
  10. I'm pretty sure I've had them in the KOTOR series... I'm going to have to look that up... There you go http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Personal_Universal_Translator
  11. This is exactly why I wanted summaries for each quest, but everyone back then did not want it... As for the returning characters, thats why we have an awesome NPC index .
  12. This post is a waste of space.
  13. "Don't we all have automated translate chips, anyway?"
  14. Guts sighed, while on the quest, he had hoped for some quiet time in the hall, but now when he was there, he wanted back in the action. Not even a day had passed while he was there, and that day was spend with replying to letters, and drinking wine, it was mostly drinking wine. Bottles had begun to pile up again on and around the table, and Guts was just deciding wether or not to risk the walk to get a new bottle, when a Metasimian walked in the hall. Guts eyes sharpened up, and he whistled in the direction of the Metasimian standing at the bar, and waved him over when he looked in Guts's direction.
  15. Not to mention Alcohol Abuse, swearing(Well, Kinda), Racism and blatantly knicking someone's roleplaying.
  16. Hmm, I don't think I would get the better side of that deal...
  17. Hey, that's a lovely tattoo you got there.... Uhm... Yes I know what I shall do in this ordeal! We shall destroy all that are not true to the Light side of the force Master Yoda, do you have an indication for us when we can expect to get this underway?
  18. Totally not (yet) canon, but: "The Great Desert of Abra is home to many things, beings, secrets and monsters. The Trading City of Carthago is on the north side of the continent, and maintains a solid trading connection to Eubric, and is a popular stop for ships on their way to Salmanda, or is the point where travellers trade in ship for caravan, if they don't have the stomach to brave the Straight of Sirenes. The west side of the continent is an area troubled with slavers and piracy, and therefore is not a common destination for people from Eubric. There is also the location of the city-state of Strivvi, a city-state build on top of ruins of an ancient civilization, and a hub for slavers and other scum. The Great Desert itself is for the most part uncharted, and is mostly inhabited by nomads and primitive tribes, although it is said that it houses many secrets..."
  19. No, my fellow eyes-on-the-side-of-our-heads-alien I too, have yet to find insight in my place in all this...
  20. So, about the Eye of the Beholder, I still don't get it, I can use it to see the next round of battle, but would it take my turn to use it, making it only useful for my allies? and how would the QM know what the other players are about to do? And would it not just prolong the whole battle, if the results are shown, and the players reconsider what they will do? I think Sandy is right and it needs to be changed, it sounds really cool, but I think it's practical use is just going to be clunky,
  21. Okay, imagine a rogue, with a melee and a throwing weapon. Be honest, when would the rogue ever use their throwing weapon? Never. Because he can either take one turn to switch, and one turn to attack from the back row with full power, or attack twice with the same effect. What I am saying is, it dumbs things down, you would have to spend a turn, losing any potential damage output that round to switch weapons, not to mention extra possible free hits. In reality, unless neccasary because of elements, no one will want to lose a turn. So what will happen is, everyone with multiple weapons will use one per battle, which yes, is dumbing things down, not encouraging strategy.
  22. No, not good points, the only possible for reason would be to make QM-ing "easier." It is a gamechanging thing, so yeah.
  23. So basically you are saying you want everyone to just say, oh Ill attack from the front row for the whole battle, ill see you in a week? Because thats basically what will happen with this change...
  24. I don't think switching weapons taking a turn is a good idea, it discourages strategy. Just take in mind the healing staff, will it see much use with this change? Probably not. It will also weaken rogues (e.g. taking away flexibility) because they have to wait a turn to use throwing weapons, completely discouraging their use.
  25. Guts walked in the hall, when arriving in the city, he had decided to jump off the cart early, in order to take care of some business, and get drunk in a less... stiff environment than Heroica Hall. His first stop was the questing board, inspecting it, there were two quests, looking at the first one, Guts' eyes narrowed. The Town Watch did not want to hire rogues? The fools, "rogue" was a term invented by the ignorant. Besides, Guts had killed more criminals than the heroes that currently signed up had combined. Guts sighed, since when was competence less important than looks. The other quest seemed open for the old rogue though. A vampire, that should be interesting. He could not help but wonder how is old friend Ed was doing... Guts also wondered how someone's accent could slip through on paper. With the usual HOLLA, Guts signed up for Quest 34. Then Guts went up the stairs to his usual table, happy to find out there was no one sitting there, nodding to Elgar and Knifk on the way.
