  1. Guts sheaths his weapon and walks up to the orc. He stands there for a second, and then delivers a swift kick in the orc's stomach. The rogue's awnsers: "No wonder you don't have any of those things, look at yourself. You are a disgrace for the once proud orcs. If you want your life to take turn for the better, I suggest you work for it, there is nothing falling from the sky to help you out. Now, you are going to awnser my questions, got it?
  2. Your old name was better.

  3. The Warlord's Helmet from Quest 23 (that now has a barbarian's natural respite ability) was originally going to have the intimidation ability, but I ultimately decided against it, because the focus for artifacts was that they have passive, combat-related abilities. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see items like that, but I don't know if they would be allowed...
  4. Guts chimes in from further back, leaning against a large rock, he is seemingly inspecting his weapon, which deflects the little light the moon gives off, casting an odd shine on the rogue's covered head. The rogue speaks: "Relax, fool. We are from Heroica, not common robbers. As you can probably guess, we want information. If you can provide us with such information, and I like what I hear, there might be some gold in it for you." With a cold grin behind his headwraps, and an even colder tone in his voice, Guts adds: "Enough for a bottle of something better than what you were drinking before you passed out here."
  5. Not all, but some Hosts take the time to set one up, it's quite nice to have, if you are dead.
  6. Eye of the Beholder is not an artifact
  7. Adding artifacts should be limited in my opinion, they should feel 'special' and unique in my opinion. Too complicated? Not seeing that. In principle, with a standard character sheet, and three basic modifiers (Weapon, 2 artifacts), QM-ing a battle is not really "complicated", sure, items should be very clear in what they do, and overcomplicated or blatantly unbalanced items should not be added. I also do not share your view about SP. As I've stated in the past, there will be a point where everybody will die in one hit from an enemy, in order to have a foe that can hit a knight, SP in artifacts softens this.
  8. My suggestion for the artifact store is that it's very expensive (300+ gold) and that each artifact only gets sold once, so there are limitations to be aware off, sure there will be people that are going to heavily disagree with me, but I think artifacts should be something unique, and special.
  9. You mean if they melee attack? It could either not count for then, or it could be the gem that was used last?
  10. Grounding Boots - SP: 3 Lightning Immunity Spiked Armour - Sp: 4 Any physical contact with an enemy (e.g. melee attacks, enemy melee based attacks) cause the enemy to take 4 damage. Tome of Wizards - Causes a Mage's Magic Burst, a Battlemage's Spellblade, Mystic Knight's Spellspin or Sage's Magical Vortex to use the element they use to attack, instead of the usual random element. Black Silken Gloves - Every succesful hit or critical hit gains the user 5 gold.
  11. Loved the look of this game, and the players made the day threads interesting as well. Had Cornelius figured as scum since the beginning, can't really give a reason, but he seemed very suspicious to me, but as we know, the point of view from a watcher is very different than that of a player. Great work on the pictures, and the concept of the game in general, Hinckley, very cool. Here is a thumbs up
  12. "Hmm? He may have some information, Kid, why don't you handle this, me and casanova here handled the earlier stuff."
  13. Guts tosses the handbag to Dak, and gives the Steel Fan to Dyric. "Alright, 'her' belongings were worthless, but there are traces of substances the Bonapartes restrict importing, would explain 'her' behaviour. Let's head to the Stone Garden, last place to check out."
  14. "What were you saying about diplomacy earlier? I don't go around insulting random 'women' on the street, casanova." Guts attacks from the front row! Battle Order: Guts Dyric Dak
  15. Hmm, I'm not sure I agree with how you see the Wolfgang, take it from me "All Power" is not exactly the Wolfgang's exact motive for their actions, which is a very significant thing to remember
  16. Don't mean that he is going for me, but I'm saying the fact that he is stating that Monn's case is a distraction is not completely accurate . And Master Tiin: again, completely not contributing (as far as I can see). There are multiple people like that, it's really annoying, but because we keep having leads, dealing with the "under the radar" people is hard, and not priority. I hope they can see what they are doing is unhelpful in every respect, and if they are town, detrimental. I hope future hosts for games will consider their level of participation, when choosing players. Ah, I of course, also mean She.
  17. I have to disagree with what you are saying in the first part of the second paragraph, the Houses are actively against the Wolfgang, and if worst would come to pass, they would probably unite for the very reason to get rid of them. But unless paid, the Heroes would not fight against the Wolfgang, they have nothing directly to gain (At this point). Heroica is not seen as a seventh House, I think, it's way too diverse for that, plus, there is no direct sense of loyalty in all of the heroes. For example, if Guts was to fight simply "for" Heroica, against the Wolfgang, he would say: "Yeah, good luck with that, i'm on my way to Salmanda". I could definitely look forward to a big event with the Wolfgang against one or multiple houses, and heroes having to choose where to side, and the Wolfgang is of course trying to get Heroes to their side, not sure if it's working at the moment, though. So far all we know is that they want to be rid of the Houses in power, which is a good idea (in Guts's eyes), but you would say one would do that is to make the city safer, better, fairer to the people, but the Wolfgang is not "noble" in any way(that we have seen ), they are criminals themselves, let's not forget that. The only heroes that had a run in that did not end in violence were of course Haldor, Skrall and En Sabah Nur, but all what happened is they got paid off, not exactly loyalty inspiring, I would say.
  18. This is the pitch for my quest already accepted by Sandy, which is coming some time after the Dastan Quests are finishing, I am hoping to have at least one Hero from my previous quest on this one. And yes, the Wolfgang is involved! Quest: #?? The Strivvian Job Quest Master: Scubacarrot Assignment: Heroes, we once again require aid with our case of the missing guards. We have strong suspicions that our men are in Strivvi, and we are setting up a mission to liberate them. We would like to have Heroica with us, in this dangerous endeavour. We also have information regarding the Keystone. Signed by Captain of the Town Watch, Patricia Cousland. Party Requirements: A balanced group consisting of 4 heroes, preferably above level 15. Reward: 600 gold to split, Reputation with the Town Watch (for expert class unlocks)
  19. It was me who today pointed out the slip-up (if you want to call it that) in Master Monn's statement, and I am one of the major advocates for lynching C-3PO, how is that reasoning working out for you.
  20. The problem I have with your idea, Flipz, is this: Why would the Wolfgang take a big risk, and hire Heroes from Heroica to do it for them? The way I view the Wolfgang, and I may be very off, is that they are a player that is not as powerful as the houses yet, but their influence is growing, and while they want to make sure people know they around, they would also be careful not to set off a major crackdown, by the six forces combined, which the Wolfgang would surely lose. As we all know, the Wolfgang's ultimate goal is to overthrow the houses in power (for whatever reason, and with whatever means), do you really think they would risk major attention by coming to Heroica for something like this? They would have to assume the information would get relayed through to at least one of the houses, as the houses (Hinckwells in particular) have Heroes that are loyal to them, and there is the unknown factor of the veterans, who we can only assume do what is best for the city, so would they not warn the houses if something like this was happening? Also, it's often forgotten, but the fact that there were three heroes that made a deal with Donny Dozenhands is not common knowledge, as far as most of the heroes, and of course the town watch, the heroes just failed in catching them, and there is no relation whatsoever between the Wolfgang and Heroica. Also, because of the Wolfgang's intentions, do you think they not already have some people, or are trying to have people in important locations? They are a gang, sure, but certainly not a regular gang, their ambitions certainly prove that, among other things . Just my views on things, I might be miles off what everybody else thinks, but I think you should be very careful how you present this sort of thing, because you don't wanna ruin any possible intrige and trickery the Wolfgang might have in store for us.
  21. "Hey, I tried trickery, it failed, violence ensued. Why don't you handle this?"
  22. Why would the Wolfgang go after one corrupt official? There are many corrupt people in power in Eubric, so what would make this one a target for the Wolfgang? Also: why would the Wolfgang gain from taking this one out? Some more questions: Why would they need Heroica to take care of business, and what would make them turn to Heroica in the first place. They don't exactly enjoy an open and pleasant relation with Heroica.
  23. Again with the assuming and laying words in my mouth, it's not anger, but annoyance. I am annoyed that there are people making useless posts like the one two statements up. Honestly, your post really looks like having a go at me, and no, I don't appreciate that, especially not from you. If you misunderstand something, it's your fault, and now you are trying to write it off as me being 'touchy', seriously? I honestly don't care if you think I am suspicious or not, what I DO care about is people contributing to the discussion in a helpful way, the way you are doing it, is not it. You calling me "unpleasant" "touchy" "angry" after pointing out the flaws in your post is uncalled for, yes, I could have been "calmer", but does that really matter, I think not. But to be honest, the post I am writing right now is not helpful either. Because it has little to do with the matter at hand. I say we stop this, because it's pointless, you stop being useless, I will stop writing rants about your behaviour, deal? Now to the matter at hand, it may be worth thinking about who to lynch depending on what the droid flips as, depending if he gets lynched.
  24. What nonsense are you spouting this time, you are constantly going after me, laying words in my mouth, and I wish you would stop it, it's not cute, and to be honest, not helpful in any way either. I never said we would vote Coryn off if C-3PO is innocent, if you can find me saying that, you are magician. Voting Coryn off if C-3PO is innocent does not seem like a great idea, does it to you? How exactly would we be in trouble, We still won't be, give better reasoning for that. Of course it would 'too bad' if C-3PO turns innocent, are you dense, we would have lost a jedi, never a good thing. And you are saying because C-3PO does not go after Coryn, he might be innocent. Come on. Really? I mean, really?? In fact, the whole point you are making is useless, except for the fact that you think C-3PO might be innocent, and of course he might be, but if you have read my well underlaid posts in the past, he is probably our best bet. Think for half a second before you post next time, and DO NOT go after me with megablocks, if you have a problem with me, do some reasoning /rant over
  25. "Hmm, let's explore the park some more, who knows what we will find. I say we head to the Luminous Passage." Guts divides 50 gold to each Dyric and Dak.
