  1. Nice voiceacting for Guts. That was an amazing read, it left me with a big smile. The clips were great, too! Very nicely done, WBD & the others that helped on it. Say, technically, if you won multiple categories, do you get multiple Awards? And thanks for voting for me, everyone that did! The categories that didn't get a winner, is that because there were too many answers with only 1 vote?
  2. I was going for Hybros with the heh, but I can see it.
  3. "Yeah right, Keliim. Like you are sneaky enough to follow a group of automatons without being detected."
  4. While travelling, Guts tries to print the map in his mind, so he knows what landmarks the mark specifies. "Speaking of being equipped, I hope we find a decent store soon, perhaps in Baltarok... And David, would you mind giving me my phoenix essences and the orb back? Who knows, we might run into this Captain at the fountain, and if he's anything like his crew, he's going to be a tough son of a bitch... Anyways, enough rambling. For what it's worth, I wish you and your father good fortune ruling over your land. Thank your father for me, for his hospitality, and supplying this expedition. We may not exactly have gotten what we wanted, but it happens. The gods can be generous and fickle both." The Marauder tilted his head, then suggested to David. "Hey... You don't suppose the fountain turns people undead don't you? If they found it, and drank from it, it would explain why they were far too lively for my tastes for being dead a whole while." Cannons are Bonaparte exclusive tech aren't they? That's why they have superiority over sea.
  5. "Necromancy, copycats, clones, this Hybros is exceptionally bad at slitting throats. All possibilities, but nothing that will help us much, heh."
  6. "That's clearly a big red X right there." Guts questions. "Where would the other half be, if this is indeed the ship of that captain. I mean, we haven't the found the guy himself, so wouldn't he hang onto his invaluable map?" "This ship had cannons?" Guts wonders. "How old exactly is this vessel supposed to be?"
  7. "Very well." Loot: Dyric: Cabin Boy Rags, 60 gold Matthias: Opal, 60 gold.
  8. "Well done, all of you. That was tough. Heh, I'm glad some of your weapons are more versatile than mine." The Marauder walks up to Matthias, standing directly in front of him, standing two heads taller than the gnome. He wipes off some ice that found itself on the Druid's hat in the battle, and steps back and smiles at the short man. "Excellent work, I knew that cannon of yours would be invaluable." Guts shrugged at Dyric. "Maneuvers are usually named aren't they? Besides, we were the first to do it." "Now, am I correct that the Cabin's Boy outfit would be perfect for you, Dyric? Or are you not going to wear it? The one that doesn't get it gets the Opal and I'm thinking you split the gold. It's up to you two, now let's see what we came here for."
  9. "I say we give him the old triad park special." Guts grinned to Dyric. For the others' sake, Guts explained: "If we do nothing, he'll fall down eventually." Guts does nothing from the back row. Same battle order.
  10. I think most people are holding off until they are either back in the hall or the Wolfgang faction's thing is up.
  11. I'm not! I'm really enjoying the quest so far, Zepher. Im mostly just excited for the pay off, haha.
  12. "Oh I'm so sorry, Annie, it's one of my biggest sins."
  13. 250 gold for a permanent piece of defense that will persist regardless of class (because surely you'd put it on a versatile artifact), yeah, that's pretty cheap in my book. As I've suggested before, maybe not the price should be corrected, but the amount a hero can buy.
  14. Got to get those Bright Polishes before their price is corrected.
  15. "I say we let him go. Killing him serves no real purpose. And it'd be better to have a possible favour out there in the world somewhere, wouldn't it?" "It's not like I have a soultrap prepared, anyhow."
  16. Nope, it's absolutely fine, I did notice the error, but the effects we got on us were enough to make the use of the Eye totally necessary for it, I think. Don't worry so much! Guts repeats. Same battle order. David heals Guts and otherwise repeats.
  17. Have people considered something like: "resistant to negative effects"? For example, all chances for negative effects would be halved. I can see both sides of the issue. On the one hand, there are the players, especially assassins and classes with effect giving shields or other rolls, that are basically devaluated by the Immune to effects, immune to instant kill thing. But as a QM, you have a challenging battle to produce, and considering an assassin with a multi attack weapon has either a 1/6 or a 1/3 chance to kill anything, that's annoying, bypassing all the numbers, or a party trivializing what in the story should be a hard battle with a pumpkin bomb or something. I think "resistant" might solve those problems, making effects (and instant kill) harder to pull off on your elite enemies, while still allowing the party to deal them out. How it would work is half the chance for any effects, so 1/6 would be 1/12 and so on. A 100% chance (from a bomb for example) would become 50%. What do people think?
  18. "By as much as we have, I meant as much as we can spare Dyric, target C, hopefully you can finish them off."
  19. Enemies that are immune to any attack you have are annoying.
  20. I forgot my own character. Good job, me. "Very well done, alright, I want as much power on the Marauders as we have!" Matthias attacks the Marauders from the back row, twice. Guts uses a Grand potion on the Marauders, twice. David heals Matthias or Dyric, depending on who has the least health Battle order: Guts Guts Matthias Dyric David Matthias Dyric David
  21. "Maybe he keeps them in the void." Calamity suggests. "You can create tears in the fabric of our reality and store things, just like your standard bags of holding, but bigger. But... It's difficult, and dangerous, prone to ripping the physical world apart. But... it's possible, technically."
  22. "Why would the automatons kill him? I mean, I presume those things are still on their whole, exterminate the heroes trip."
  23. "You reckon he can save us another tumble with those scrapboxes?"
  24. Did you add in the poison? David's Neptune Bomb should be spend. Guts throws a purging water and another Wyvern's Breath. Matthias attacks B, then the Marauders. David stands ready to heal if Matthias or Dyric get damaged, or use a phoenix essence as needed. Dyric David Dyric Matthias Matthias David
