The legends says that Jason had to do three tasks to get the Fleece: - Curb the firebreathing bulls and plough with them a field - Plant dragon teeth, and defeat the army that grew from those theeth (that did Jason by throwing a magical stone in their middle) - Defeat the always watching dragon that guards the Fleece I'll make something this afternoon.

Watched Wild Wild West yesterday evening. And tomorrow, in the afternoon, I'll go see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as celebration of the end of the schoolyear.

Maybe I'll enter it. I'm searching for a mythical object and I'll write the story as soon as I can. Have to make something quick, I think it will be possible for me to enter, we'll see. I have something: Indiana Jones and the Golden Fleece. The government of Greece has contacted a famous archaeologist for a new quest. This time Indiana Jones has to find the Golden Fleece, a mythological fleece which said to represent royal power to the one who has it. Indiana sets immediately sail to Greece, but the government of Russia is also after this mighty object and they aren't affraid to use violence. Like Jason and his band of Argonauts did, Indiana Jones and his new compagnons have to do three different tasks to obtain the Golden Fleece, including the defeat of the dragon that guards the Golden Fleece. Would that be good enough? Then I'll make tomorrow or later the scene with the dragon and Indiana with his friends: Luna and Rick. Now I just have to make a good dragon...

I just noticed Captain Green Hair's new title: Rooie Oortjes. Because it's written with two capital letters I think it stands for the comic books of Rooie Oortjes?

It looks really nice. And it gives me that classic feeling and it's big. The glass roof is very nice, though: it could be made longer.

Well, in the Collector's Catalogue you'll find every set LEGO has made the past 50 years (am I right?) and in this book you'll find: * This book celebrates 50 years of the LEGO brick with history, fun facts and pictures! * Includes 6 red LEGO bricks! * Includes a copy of the patent for LEGO brick from 1958! * Includes LEGO system catalog with promotional material from 1963! * Includes a copy of the LEGO System 1969 catalog that features the electric LEGO railway! * Includes LEGO gold brick stickers! * 63 pages. So: the catalogue is worth the money and not this I think.

Woah! That's awesome. I really like the towers and the gate, also nice how you can get off the roof on the back. It looks really like the current Castle theme, but built bigger and way cooler. You should put this on some baseplates and then add greenery and trees to it, it will look marvelous.

MOC: Agents Seabase of Dr. Inferno
Matn replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hah, very nice and it's a funny comic! It looks like a real base for an evil villian, it couldn't be better. I really like those plants hanging upside down. So this is the first Agents MOC? Are you going to make more? -
Friday I got the 5613 Fireman Impulse set from my mother. So I got four Impulses from my parents and my mom has let me know that she still has two to give me (which says I will get them all from them, eventually).

Currently I'm still playing Mario Kart Wii and now I've started playing Toki Tori (I sure love the WiiWare channel). And I think I'll put in the disc of Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix again. And when I have enough money: LEGO Indiana Jones!
-
Nice, maybe I'll order it in the vacation. And perhaps it well be selled on LEGOworld this year...
-
I want it, but the (German/English) catalog looks more interesting. Eventually, I will buy them both... But 30 EUR looks quite expensive... And the catalog costs 25 EUR, if I remember it well.
-
I like it! And it's also pretty acurate. Keep up the nice work.

The figures are more than awesome and the set on its own is nice. But does the LEGO Company really want us to pay 400 dollar for a playset? This isn't normal? In this year we got so much wonderful sets (which I have bought a few of, so still plenty of money to spend on) and now they're comming with this? It will be bought by a lot of Star Wars fans, but the price is really making trouble. There are cooler sets to get this year, for less money...
-
You still didn't know what was going to happen? I'm sorry... Well, I won't make a new one (maybe there will be one integrated with my project this summer and later).
-
I'm really looking forward to your figures. And I'll update this thread with new pictures next week or later (when I have bought new torsos and after the exams)
-
That's great! Hasn't TLC contacted BrickForge for making new molds for them?
-
Here's Aberforth: I think he looks pretty good. And Professor Quirrel:
-
Haha. But I'll make it bigger and a box, like you said. It would look nicer and also I discovered that they are wearing a garment (?) (a wizard outfit) in Hogwarts, so I'll also adjust that. The next vignette I'll make will be one with Dumbledore and Harry at the end of the seventh book, when they are in Harry's head in the 'station'.
-
Again: thanks. I'm not sure about the freckles, you're right, but customising figures isn't for now. Maybe if I'm older and when I dare to adjust them... Currently I'm working on Aberforth Dumbledore, but I don't know which torso to use. I also rembered that in the fifth movie the barkeeper (Aberforth) was rather big. Not tall, but, you know what I mean. And normally (in the books) he's big and thin, so I really would like to see how they do this in the seventh movie... And yes, Hermoine's bag isn't big, it's a purple little bag with pearls on it. But a sidebag is cooler.
-
I like these interviews, they're very interesting.

This contains a spoiler if you haven't read the seventh book of Harry Potter (if so, shame on you ) I wanted to make something instead thinking of new figures, so this came out it: a little vignette that shows the White Tomb where Dumbledore lies. It's from marmer and it is placed on the field of Hogwarts. Harry and his mates are about to put back the Elder Wand. It would be cool to see more of your figures, badboytje! Some new ones: Bellatrix Lestrange: (a rather mature) Charlie Weasley: I could have used the orange hair in a pony tail, but that looks terrible... The orange is too flashy! And (a young) Ginny Weasley: Now I'll search for some new torso's and heads and maybe I'll buy them together with some Speed Racer sets...
-
Yes, I know, but the other face of him looks like a little child, so this fits the best I guess. Does anyone have ever tried to paint a hairpiece? I could buy the hair of Anakin and paint it black... But I said myself to not adjust pieces. I also could use brasso to make the lines under Ron's eyes go away...

I can do this. With pleasure.
